Met up with my friend Christine for some incredible Korean dumplings, the next day went to a restaurant that served one of the BEST Jajangmyeon Noodles I've ever had. Finally a late night meal in Myeong-dong
for slow braised short ribs.

I know everyone will give a shout out to the food and female companion(s) so I wanted to give a shout out to the chopsticks in the Jajangmyeon location. I saw that they had actual notches for better grabbing of noodles. Sometimes smooth chopsticks don’t do the job.

That’d be awesome. Should be everywhere but going strictly (Dumpling) off all Mikes videos, first time seeing it. Metal chopsticks are super common but not those bad boys. Than again never been to Korea but i do eat a lot of Korean food though it’s togo these days.

I had a Filipino friend as a kid and his mom, aunties, and grandma were constantly making food! It was sweet...they shared their food and my Grandma made them items we ate. I will never forget them! I'm 33 now and wish I could ask them for recipes!

in korea it is common to pay for the bill when you eat out with friends, my parents would always get in a skirmish with their friends over who pays the bill lmao

i love how koreans warn you about the amount of food you order haha. i remember eating in a chicken place in myeongdong last december and we were a group of 4, we ordered 3 plates of chicken, fish cake soup, and 2 other dishes. When we added the 2 other dishes our server was struggling to tell us in english how she thinks our orders is too much for the 4 of us 😂😂
