I'm so happy to share my collection and how I started it and what to look for. I cover everything from the 50's and 60's right up until the 80's. I'm a long time vintage professional. Found your channel yesterday, came up on my suggested watch list. SO glad it did! I just love your personality and your collections - well, just WOW! My faves TODAY (lol!) are the aspirin pieces and the Native/African necklaces (so far-I’m half way thru video so I may edit and add some). I have a huge collection as well but in recent years have not touched many pieces. I think a lot of vintage pieces were made to be worn with very different clothing styles made out of more substantial material than we have today --but I like your funky combinations will try to dig out some of the strange things I have and mix them up more .
I support that! It is easier to keep going once you start, and now you can wear a cute pin on a blouse with sweatpants and no-one will know..xo ~D

Thank you for sharing your amazing jewelry collection! I love hearing the stories behind your pieces. My favorites have to be the giant mask pendant, the panda, and the Macy's starburst necklace. I also have a few pieces from the Jackie Kennedy collection that are just beautiful.
You mentioned several times how you consider some contemporary pieces to be "future vintage." Would you elaborate on what exactly you mean by that? What are the telltale signs, or is it a gut feeling? Don't know if you have enough examples for a future video, but that would be an interesting topic for discussion.

I think this is my favorite video so many beautiful items I bought some beautiful Brooches yesterday on a Facebook auction and A signed coro blowfish sold for $180 and I was blown away with the beauty i did start out in the bids but back out it was truly awesome to he apart of the beauty if these pieces are amazing and your collection is in my kind the best I have seen

I can't believe you got that for 12.50! Those beads are Santa Domingo Heishi beads and the pieces for the ears are called "jacla"

I'm glad I happened upon your channel. I love and collect vintage jewelry as well, although I have a lot to learn about the technical side, etc. May I point out that there's a buzzing noise throughout the video? There are many possible reasons for it which are on TH-cam or Google. just a heads up! ty
@Peggy Potts ~ Hi! I was trying to figure out the buzzing for months, and only in the last 3 weeks have I realized it is the over head lights in my studio. I tried taping without them but it was too dark, so now I'm doing noise reduction in post, during the editing process. I could watch you go through your horde all day, but I need to get a better idea of dates & value. I understand that the market changes and that condition is key, but a high-end/low end range that applies to near/perfect pieces would be extremely beneficial for your watchers. Namely, me!

I think you should wear a black blouse that would make the Jewelers look more attractive since black is a very elegant color, and I will where white blouse for others jewels. Gather your hair with a bun, dropping some fringes in front to give the jewelry elegance. Remember to dress according to the design of the jewels with a boat or turtle neck blouse according to the jewel that would help to show them better. Do it before you start the video.
