- This is a video that as far as I know, has only been on HBO once,in 2003. It shows the dynasty years of the Oakland Raiders and Oakland A's in the 1970's. It also gives folks a idea of how much the city loved it's teams and how it's teams loved the city.
72,73,74 the A’s, Warriors in 75 and the Raiders in 76.....
The Oakland airport had a trophy case with all three teams and a sign that read, “Oakland city of champions”.
Raiders,A's,Warriors nothing better then being a fan
Town Bizz Yee!!
East Bay Rebels represent. Raider Nation always. Black and Silver. Green and Gold. Respect Oakland Sports. Low Budget Greatness.
This is a saga that I would collect and watch over and over.It is a great documentary.
I'm so glad have been a raider fan since 1968 and sold malts and sodas at the coliseum, while living five blocks away and having true earlier years signed memorabilia....
I saw a lot of these games personally year after year....
Generation Blanda, Lamonica, Stabler and Plunket alumni...
John Madden, speaks for himself..
Carr...Hmmmm!
So much fun the early 70s. Marv Hubbard was a thrill to watch, workman like style, watching the Raiderz was like the old movie " The Longest Yard."
What always impressed me about the A's teams of the early '70s was no matter what was going on off the field or in the clubhouse or with Charlie O when they got on the field they were a machine, Like Rollie Fingers said they just had a lot of talent on that team.
Great times! Thanks for uploading!
Raider fan forever
13:15 Jim Otto calling out Lynn Swann. Gotta love it if you're a Raiders fan!
yep....goes against the grain those bs CTE soccer moms on football
Was a dirty shot by Atkinson & he missed the tackle on Franco too
Rebels rule!!!!
The A's were MLB Team of The 70s
Nothing. Like home game in Oakland vs.san Francisco .fights in the stands and parking lot.real football atmosphere.raider ball, clotheslines, spearing, and late hits
Raiders were the best team in the NFL EVER. We loved them. RAIDER nation
In Oakland-Alameda County Coliseum
14:54 gives me chills
I hope HBOMAX makes a movie about the '76 Raiders.
Stabler should be in the Hall!!!!!
he is now
Roy Buford He should have been inducted while he was still alive!!!
@@rockyracoon3233 DARN STRAIGHT.
@@stephanierae650 Right on Sister!
I've liked the A's since "Vida Blue". Now thay've moved too.
Carr I hope you see this. You will immediately think to your self: I’m not a raider. Please go somewhere else.
Your right
RIP
Now the raiders In Vegas. Fuckin shame.
Charlie Finley treated his players like property.
No doubt there's greater evils in the world than souless cheap sports owners who treat humans like cattle. That's said, surely Finley is probably burning somewhere in about the second or third circles of hell.
He was an old style owner. Charlie Comiskey probably would have been proud.
Slaves
Went to every Raiders home game from 72 until the Raiders went to LA. Really hard to watch in a fill football in 2020 with all these lame a** rules
The swinging Oakland a
