The guitar is a little different for me because I usually play PRS Custom 24 which have medium jumbo frets vs. this Gibson with medium. I’m getting used to it so the guitar is staying. I should have however set the guitar up with heavier strings like I’m used to. You will catch some over bends. Thank you for watching and be sure to like and subscribe! That amp has fantastic cleans. Almost sounds like Fender sparkle meets Vox chime. This will be my next amp acquisition.
Jon's Record Rack you will not be disappointed. This is by far the most amazing amp I own.
People will catch on. Gibson created a badass here. Sustain is sick for whatever reason.

Beautiful amp and guitar. Friedman are the best amps out on the market, and Dave Friedman is a tone genius! Distortion on your amp is a little over kill. I prefer my Friedman BE-50 Deluxe. Nonetheless, You still have a very nice amp, and I like your playing. I used to live in the Seattle area during the Grunge Era. Awesome time to live there back then. I actually lived on Bainbridge Island, a 30 minute ferryboat ride from Seattle across Puget Sound. I used to work at a place called the Streamliner Diner. Chad Channing, the original drummer from Nirvana worked with me. Cool guy. Another guy by the name of Kevin Wood worked with me. Kevin is the brother of Andy Wood, that was in Mother Love Bone, which became Pearl Jam. Kevin is an amazing guitar player. If your familiar with the song, "Say hello to Heaven", by Temple of the Dog, they refer to Bainbridge Island on there, when they say he came from an island, but died from the streets. Sonny Seabury thank you for sharing! That is amazing you were there for the grunge era. I know very well of every band you speak of and can’t believe you were just kinda in the mix witnessing the whole development. The 90s were my favorite decade and actually almost moved there when I got out of the military back in 01’. I know that was a little late but, I still have this force pulling me to the West coast haha! I at the least need to visit. My amp was definitely hot for the video and I should have dialed it around. I have the JJ100 with the 3 channel mod and you can dial the gain back just like a regular BE. He just has it dialed hot

Chris Maihofer all I do is high pass to 50 Hz to lose any low rumble. This amp has amazing tone for recording! I want to check the JJ jr out as well. Thank you for the compliments as well as the comment!

Hi mate...cracking sound...altho a 3 yr old post, how has the LP classic faired tuning wise? I tried a couple yesterday and they failed to stay in tune after a few string bends ...staff looked a bit embarrassed tbh...thanks
It's a beautiful guitar! I tried this model and it just wasn't what I was looking for. I decided to go with the 2018 Standard heritage cherry sunburst! I tried both and the standard was the one that spoke to me!

I guess it just depends on the personal preference of neck profile you like. I prefer a slimmer neck because of the speed. But it varies with each guitar. You go into a store with a particular model in mind and end up leaving with a different one. I don't buy a guitar just to buy one. It has to have the magic feeling for me. If I pick up a guitar and it feels wrong I don't get it.
Jason Bland I agree 100%. The only thing that sucks is when nobody carries what you want locally. Then it’s a gamble when you order. I definitely got lucky with this one
Yeah haven't taken a chance on ordering a guitar yet. You buy a car you've never test driven so I don't buy guitars I've never played on before! Do you live in a small town? No Guitar Center or mom and pop shops?

I got my classic for $1400 on Reverb compared to the new standard at $2500...want the p90 one!
Love the Double J and Drop Db. I use a MarkV but I lust after the JJ. I like getting three stages of tone but I think that JJ sounds consistent, unlike my Mark which if I fuck with the settings winds up sounding way different. I also eat power tubes (6L6) MarkV can use either tube ( 6L6- EL34) but I have not tried the latter. Does the JJ have fixed bias? I tried biasing my Marshall once & fried it LOL
I played a 2000 LP Classic and loved the slim profile neck (should have bought it but it was on hold to clear possible theft since it was a trade in), anyway, I’m now looking at the 2019 Classic Gold Top like yours. Nothing local so it will have to be online. I know the differences in pickups but I have to try one.
I would love the JJ Friedman but it’s not practical. I am waiting for the JJ Junior 20 Watt though!!!

RockDrillSuite I love the slim profile neck and had to order mine without trying as well but don’t regret it. I seriously love this guitar! As for the JJ, if it’s anything like it’s big brother (which it sounds like) it will be as well! Good luck and let me know what you think when you get them.

Ajay Marrott, Master Volume 5, Presence 4, Bass 8, Middle 4, Treble 6, Master 4, Gain 8. Clean volume 3-4, treble 6, middle 4, bass 4.
Now I’ve adjusted a little and my dirty settings are Master Volume 4, Presence 4, bass 10, middle 5, treble 5, Master 5, gain 10

@@awvmusic216 Oh wow, that´s great info as I have bursbucker pro´s also in my les paul standard 2017..it pretty much sums it up, I am buying now BE-50 deluxe, so It should sound quite close to your vid, which is by the way the best sound I ever heard. What year is your JJ100?
Telecaster Kerrang that is a good question, I just bought it not too long ago from Musicians Friend but it’s one of the signed models. I believe those were only available when they first came out. I should probably see if I can figure it out
Armed with Valor yeah, the reason I ask is Dave said he updated the caps to Synergy’s from the 2016 models forward. Makes the mids “richer” he says.
