Thanks ever so much for both Part 1 and Part 2. I came across these videos as I sought instruction on replacing a broker presser foot lifter on a Elna TX Electronic (Stella series). The upper tension was also seized. Even tho not identical machines, I believe your explanation of the tension release mechanism and removal of upper tension will act similarly on the TX so I am confident I can remove and clean the upper tension module at a first step and then check the tension release screw which is tiny and far down in the machine. Also, the damaged lift handle may have been caused by the release mechanism and seized upper tension in some way rather than other damage. The lift handle is plastic and rather small for repeated lifting and dropping. You have definitely helped me to continue working on this machine. I will continue to look for videos with information on the broken lift handle that operates the tension release.

I love your videos too, thank you for being here for us....I have a Husqvarna 21A 1960's cir. A thrift store find by my Dad 30 years ago. It came with no attatchments nor manuals. In the original carring case with only the Service Guarantee with machine manufacture details.
I have been intimated by this machine, then I found your videos!!!
You have introduced me to this wonderful machine and all it's wonderful attributes...Now I need to find the attatachments online somewhere.
Again, thank you for making these videos, slow, soft spoken, easy to follow.

Thank you - I just love machinery and your videos are educational and addictive 😃 I use a sewing machine and from watching your tutorials I really appreciate my machine and understand how I can help to keep it in running smoothly between services.

It’s too bad modern sewing machines are Made out of plastic. Plastic will not last too long.
