you turned off eternal youth since yesterday why is that did it not perform how u thought seems like its ok for 1 point an needs little pathing to use?
Love the build. I just re spec and massive difference just on support gems. Your website is really off on support gems but im used to this from DB4. I appreacite you taking the time to show your build for us ADHD people.
I use electrocute on herald of Ice. This way when you use falling thunder, the resulting ice explosions on the screens of mobs you're clearing hit so many times you refresh your power charges and you can basically chain slam falling thunder and always have charges. You don't need three dragons and you dont need the herald chain effect because falling thunder clears the screen and reaches where most builds rely on herald of thunder to.
I love that you're not using Hand of Wisdom Gloves. It seems like everyone else is. This guide proves that it's possible to grind Tier 15 waystones without needing an expensive glove.
Dude I’ve had this build for so long got to endgame dominated. Got to map 9 kept dying watched video had my sockets swapped up and had two different ones wow what a difference couldn’t imagine this start of endgame. Sheesh!
Finally got this put together last night, and been having a blast with it! Not the best rolls on everything but I do got it including the amulet. I also got this ring to drop called the Polcirkeln Saphire Ring and it makes it even more nuts. Would recommend giving the ring a look. It makes it so you can frozen explode chilled enemies before they're actually frozen.
Agree with this. I thought the amulet made the build go supernova. But once I got that ring doing breach maps makes my game lag because I’m killing enemies so fast. The power difference is immediately noticeable
i'm spending 80 div on gear tomorrow. no joke. this is so much fun. way safer, and also storm wave is a terrible skill to any storm wave players out there. I was looking for something new and storm wave bugs on terrain and through skinny hallways and that gets u killed especially in breach. Now i'm doing the tour de france in breach offscreening and clapping the dangerous packs from 2 screens away with the power charge spender this is so much fun.
Build is awesome, I'm lvl 89 with it now and plowing through T15s with full modifiers, I got an unset ring and fit in charge infusion for extra crits. Tried subbing flickerstrike in, but it gets way too rippy for me. Great build!
To whom it may concern: I've adopted this into my stat stacking pillar of the caged gods titan, currently at level 96, And it's working amazing. Expensive build like any stat stacker but i also don't use the unique neck since i want life and stats on neck, Currently at 785 strength, 200 dex, 203 int, 5880 life; with blood magic so no need for mana jewels or sustain. 111,320 tooltip tempest flurry, 84,078 tooltip falling thunder. Which obviously they don't include tons of the buffs or the 7 stack on charged staff. But this build is slapping and now i'm having fun and feel like i can finally make that level 100 push. The stat stacker is way more expensive because of the need of so many uniques and jewels that make the travel nodes even stronger but it's working very well. Spent 60 div on gear today, total div spent since the start of beta is maybe 90 div at the most. Also still room for minor improvements in gear but they mostly don't exist or each piece is 100+ div.
Your planner is different to what is linked in the bio btw. Trying to redo my passive tree myself and hard to follow. Just a heads up, great video! I am switching to this build myself :)
yes exactly that made me a bit frustrated and confused trying to figure things out , his maxroll guide is totallly different , and this video make sense more the massivly confusing variations on maxroll should be changed and its really bad the video here on the other hand make sense and on maxroll he show something on the gear template then u go down to the gearing written section yo usee something else and here the video say something ELSE , WTF lol even the tree
I think it's always amazing when you can settle for a build you found and absolutely love without thinking about twinking.. For me it's the monk build with flicker - looking forward if there will come another video (even though the last one was already golden)!
yeah I was playing ice strike for the last 20 levels and getting somewhat bored of it. Just unlocked Flicker strike and I feel like its more fun. I might try a flicker strike falling thunder hybrid even though its probably not optimal to have 3 skills that consume charges
@@layonduff probably not, cast on crit with frenzy mark might help although will still bottleneck at your combat frenzy cooldown, maybe add reapers invocation back in instead?
Awesome build and a great guide. 1 question - I noticed you are missing runes on your helm and gloves? Is that intentional and if so why? Keep up the great work. Can't wait for your next monk guide
If I had to guess, he is probably resistance capped, and he is leaving those slots open so if he ever upgrades other pieces and is missing resistances he can throw in a resistance rune.
Have you thought of using Hand of Wisdom and Action? I farmed them and slapped them on and according to the ingame dps tooltips gained ~40% dmg. I'm at 254 dex and 160 int atm.
Hey man I didn't know other people were also trying this - I love the skill and have been trying to get it to work in endgame but struggling with Breach and Delirium - even made a 1 minute vid show casing the build - would love any feedback - currently watching the vid and looking for stuff to improve.
in your vid i see wrong passive skill tree, wrong active skill using, mb use use other bild? try use dmg+ passive skills andbuy some +dmg gems to passive skill tree
A question... in your maxroll build you take Dynamism and the three prerequisites, but these skills give bonuses to triggered and meta skills. It looks to me like you're not using either triggered or meta skills when going by the skills tooltip, so why did you take these?
Been having so much fun with Invoker Monk following your guide. Changed my whole gameplay switching from purely lightning monk to ice lightning monk and getting easy power charges for charge staff with combat frenzy and resonance. I'm stuck with the big lava boss in Act 3 but. I can't seem to gain any power charges when I attack him, yet I can obliterate mobs easily by freezing and zapping them all. What's going on do you think? What's the best way to accumulate power charges against a boss?
quick question mate, comparing this build from the video to the maxroll guide one should i stick to to either one or just adapt accordingly to my current needs? because you use different support gems, different passives etc, and i wonder if you tested the guide build first and found that this one you're showing to us is more versatile and has an overall better performance....
Hi great guide i started lvl 45 to mapping with this guide but i struggle to generate power charge …and I got all except unique amulet. Im literraly spamming flurry and 2-4 Thunder..
Honestly, im using a similar build and i feel that if you have base cold damage from your staff + gear, it's enough to freeze targets to get those initial power charges, meaning you don't need the electrocute gem on tempest flurry. This, combined with a 50% freeze build up gem on charged stuff make it perfect for maintaining power charges. Also, the extra shock and skill gem slot as a result seem much more worth imo.
I've also found this to be true, however since we don't have many options I've found it better to use any damage support gems left unused on the bell (which will also receive 30% more multiplier if we also electrocute it) and keep more utility for our tempest flurry.
I got a ring that converts 135% of my lightning to cold damage which is doing what that head you showed is but with additional scaling on it, it feels crazy, instead of tempest flurry i was using storm wave its felt really great. I hope we can get PoB soon so i can see the numbers xD
As far as i know, you actually CAN convert over 100. The unique gloves that convert fire to cold can be corrupted and have the conversion go up to 122%. Only with corruption tho. I dont know about other ways.
How come the written guide on MaxRoll says to use a hybrid body armor with 600 eva and 240 es? Those numbers don't event come close to getting you enough spirit for this build.
@@Milkybk_ I'm assuming this is a sarcastic response. But with your written build, body armor 640 eva and 242 es, I get 182 Spirit. That is leaving me about 40 short of the desired amount for the skills you have socketed.

Good sir, you mentioned that Ice Strike is fine as alternative to Tempest Flurry. If I were to use it instead, what would be the supp gems that I should slot assuming that I have at least 3-4 slots for the skill? Also, would I have to change anything else too?
Hey thanks for guide. Just a little confused on this build here compared to you're Maxroll build , In your maxroll you have a Diamond Jewel that allows you to put passive points into passive without having to connect them aslong as they are in the ring distance ,but I assume that Diamond jewel is pretty expensive or hard to get so not sure where to go with the points cause In this video you don't own that jewel yet
Hey man I gotta thank you for this. I got to T14/T15 on ice strike + charged staff monk but after the Combat Frenzy buff I was getting way too many charges and wanted to spend them. Then I saw your guide and embraced the pseudo ranged playstyle fully lmao One thing though - my boss DPS seems noticeably lower than with ice strike.
