Metal Detector rutus alter 71 (,dont watch,4 minutes,watch the 12 min one)

90 PEOPLE WATCHED THIS BEFORE I WAS ALERTED TO IT ONLY BEING 4 MINUTES LONG . UPLOAD LOST 8 MINUTES FOOTAGE ,SO WATCH THE 12 MINUTE VERSION PLEASE . Left this one live so the 90 viewers have chance to realise why it was crap .even if it did get positive response .
added a few observations . i hate review videos that only confirm machine can dig a penny at 10" on pasture without saying a word about machines traits .
i,m on a crap rubbish infested pasture field i have detected a few times with gm4,deeptech smart,and AT Pro.
points i noted . 1/Handle has grooves In plastic that will collect dirt ,but its a minor issue .let it dry and remove with nail brush . If you like comfort grip you can add tape , i quite liked returning to bare plastic after 30 years .
2/Probably the biggest negative is the gb function , yes its been said before it needs a manual adjustment option ,but thats not the thing that was most annoying . on trashy spot just click and click again instead of pumping ,that gives you factory preset GB. then scan around for quiet area and re-perform GB with the pump method for more accuracy .Fine .
What pisses me off is when i want to check a targets response in a different programme . ie i get a 118 signal real faint in fast . with 118 reading it could be high conductor suited to big silver programme where it should boom boom . In order to check signal i need to GB machine again which if your in the thick of it with ferrous/non ferrous signals every few inches its not possible . so its clear that using factory GB setting is the best move if you are curious to compare target in different programmes .
also by time you have performed factory/proper GB you have lost track of how good signal was in first place ,lol. its not just a simple flick switch between two programmes which would be nice .of course if machine was auto tracking gb ,maybe it would be super simple to switch between odes and compare.
3/ Another thing was the id was poor on some targets until i scanned one to two inches above grass . ground was waterlogged so may have been water issue but it seems this machine doesnt like coil scrubbers . the aka sorex works best with 1-2" sweep hieght . looks like alter 71 follows that or at least in these wet conditions . Also lifting plug doesnt appear to change signal in hole much .

Nigel , out of shape mt lol , you were in coin mode?, the pro as a better holo , it will tell you its a misshape crap , i feel

On single target the aka hodo is great i agree , but i just didnt like what nail presence was able to do to hodo . Audio is the only info to trust ,you like me must have left loads of loops as iron . then i did video of 1p surounded by three small nails . dig me two way audio but loop from all directions . in the field i was leaving signals like that as big iron .maybe most would be iron ,but some could be special.
i wont pay too much attention to 71's hodo . gonna learn the sounds and modify the audio so i have good idea of what conductivity is .
