DIY Halloween Hocus Pocus Spell Books

Hey! It’s Tyler from Rehab 2 Fab Designs. A little bit about me… I LOVE all things Halloween! And because I passed this love onto my children, we go all out around my house. We also love crafting! So this year for the spooky season, we decided to make some DIY Halloween spell books. And what better way to celebrate the release of the new Hocus Pocus than by making a Hocus Pocus spell book?!?!
For this project you’ll need:
Some old hardback books
Tissue paper (the kind you put in gift bags)
Dixie Belle clear coat topcoat
Sponge brush
Paint brushes
Chalk paint various colors. I used chocolate, burlap, rusty nail, midnight sky, and driftwood.
Gilding Wax: I used Dixie Belle’s silver.
Hot glue gun and glue
Various Halloween toys: eye balls are a must for the Hocus Pocus book. Bats, snakes, spider, etc
Paper towels
