Kind and sincere review. It helped to make my decision. I have to say that i wear a 43/44 and i needed to order a 45, after trying the 44. So, a bit undersized in my case.
Have had these for a couple months but only managed a few rides so far. Struggling with gear changes; compared to my old Oxtars, these have a much higher toe section which means it's trickier to get underneath the lever to change gears. Wish I had noticed this at time of purchase. Had intended to race with these, but can't see it happening.
@@kingkire1556 I hear you, but that's not an option; as it is, even with my old boots, I have to slightly lift my foot off the peg to press down on the lever. I wouldn't want it any higher. At the track last week I tried a friend's SIDI boots on; they were significantly sleeker in the toe section, & a dream to change gears with.
Just bought a pair of the the left boot is great with no nojse the right boot is really noisey and plastic ankle protector moves on the right hwere it doeant on the left boot will be taking back tomoroe for replacement may even have to get another size uo do tto feeking my toe touch the end of the boot im a size 9 and need an 11 in these
Hi Christian, I think that'll come down to personal preferences, but for me perforated boots would be way too cold at 10C and borderline at 20C. Depending on how exposed the boots are to airflow, the perforations can make a very big difference to the temperature on the inside. Thanks for getting in touch. Cheers, Tony
I don't think there's anything conclusive to say you should definitely go up a size for wide feet. My advice would be to order your normal size as a starting point. Cheers, Tony
I see no reason to go any different to the size 41 as a starting point as, in my opinion, the sizing is the same. Our returns policy means you can easily return them for the larger size if you find you need a 42, or you could try in person if you're near one of our stores. Thanks for getting in touch. Cheers, Tony
Yup, get some silicone oil or spray and dribble it in where plastic rubs against plastic. You might have been given a small bottle of oil with a helmet, or you can buy a small can pretty easily in a hardware shop. I hope that helps. Cheers, Tony

Yeah they are great but you guys didn’t think about they don’t fit under the shifter properly especially for people with big feet!

Not sure what bike you have but all the ones in my garage have adjustable gear levers. Try going up 1 spline.

That will differ by boot size. If you let me know your foot size then I'll measure for you. Cheers, Tony

I wear Astars boots size 41. I wear Nike UK7 and New Balance UK7.5 . What size in RST Boots should I choose?

@@sportsbikeshop thanks a lot. btw your return policy is best out there in the uk. cheers
I love these boots they are so comfortable and great quality why would you spend a cent more really?
Decent boots for the money as long as your not a size 44 always out of stock ,
those boots are noisy, they make a squicking sound with every step... So annoying. Is there something I can do to eliminate that noise???
