Wow!!!!!! I'm Totally Serious About Genesis / Hyundai Right Now. Also I'm Totally Love This Sedan & I Love The Paint Job On This Vehicle As Well. But This Is The Car I Would Definitely Drive After I Done The Driver's Test As My Second Car On 2/25/2022. But Nice Review Bro.
Agreed the back seats are not the most spacious. I don't have kids so the back seat doesn't matter to me. Just the wife in the passenger seat lol. She bought a GV70 as well and that car is amazing as well. Genesis killing it the last few years. My dealership bumped up my bumper to bumper warranty and lowered my monthly payment somehow. It feels good knowing I'm covered on repairs for a long time. 😊
I so hope Genesis will come to the Netherlands, Europe this or next year. In 1,5 years I can order my new leasecar. I sincerely want this G70 to be the successor of my Alfa Romeo Giulia Veloce.
Well they are available in Germany since September so you should be able to buy and import the car. I'm personally waiting for some used models here in Germany but there aren't any available yet
Fabulous car. Can't underestimate the value; in Canada it's 20 thousand (!) cheaper than a comparably equipped model, going from loaded to loaded for example. The fact that it steers better is a cherry on the top.
Great review, surprised you compared this to a C Class and 3 Series but not the A4, considering most reviews actually mentioned this compares mostly to an Audi given the combination and balance of dynamics and comfort. You also mentioned the IS 350 was close to 60k but that was pretty much maxed out with options whereas this $50k G70 you tested is pretty much base model v6. So prices are probably identical, but the lexus lacks the power and thrill and modern feel this brings.
Sorry you're mistaken here. A top loaded G70 is 50k i just bought one. 2023 g70 3.3t worh the sport prestige package. The g70 doesn't even come close to 60k not sure what you were comparing.
@@LegendsPizzaCo Pay attention to the when I posted. The landscape has changed from what it was a year ago when I commented. Just speaking facts my friend. It doesn't matter what you paid. And not all the beakes are red. For some reason the Hallasan Green whidh is the color i boufht has the nice matte grey brembos. At first i wanted the red brakes but i have grown to love the gray brembos. Also the sport prestige without awd still has the heated steering wheel. Great review love it
The manual and my service advisor says you can use 87 octane, and does not require premium unleaded on the 3.3l as it has adjustable on the fly timing.
@Thomas B my bad I see where it says that but if you read just below, where it says using gas that is lower than octane 91 could result in loss of engine power and increase fuel consumption…personally I wouldn’t want to do that to my car but to each his/her own.
This all day over A4. You get the 3.3L twin turbo V6 for same price as Audi’s 2.0L 4 cylinder. Also, cannot beat Genesis’s warranty. It’s way better than Audi’s
The tech isn’t up to date imo especially with no 360 camera:( I wished they had full digital gauge and to redo the seats it screams cheap! I would rather get a Volvo S60 or Lexus IS
@@agentweez it’s really nice just wished the reverse lights wasn’t in the bumper looks ugly and I hate the half digital gauge hopefully they will refresh interior for 2023 and maybe electric
@@AAhmad3449 nope, I have 2023 model and still the same but I’m not bothered by it. Btw I have sport prestige model and interior as well as lsd, electronic dampers, Brembo brakes, 360 degree cameras, etc are so nice and modern compared to Lexus IS!
I love the smile meter and the chuckles as they accelerate. I love it
Awesome car guys👍 Hands down the best luxury sport sedan for 50k

I like the 2022 genesis GV 70, it’s very nice! It needs more space
Rear seats fold down for additional trunk space, something my 2008 c300 didn't do.

Hi Car Confections Can You Make 2022 Audi S4 sedan
Fabulous car. Can't underestimate the value; in Canada it's 20 thousand (!) cheaper than a comparably equipped model, going from loaded to loaded for example. The fact that it steers better is a cherry on the top.
This car is very nice holy crap
Informative and Easy to Follow Along with you!!!
Thank you!

@@LegendsPizzaCo Well, here in Canada, '23 top trim is 61,133$ .....
The sidekick with an ever more increasing role lol!
The Sport Prestige RWD has a heated steering wheel as well.
Excellent review guys!
Thanks! Stay safe out there!
@@CarConfections you guys too! It’s cold!

Excellent review as always. Still prefer the loaded Stinger but would happily have this ahead of the Germans
I don't know..... having an extra wrinkle in my coupons may just be a deal breaker. Lol.
Fantastic review.
😂 thanks!
Don’t understand why Genesis doesn’t put a full digital instrument cluster on this when Hyundai does even in their lower models.
To be fair the g70 is their oldest model
@@adilsagadiyev5090 That's true, but that's not why. In other markets, the G70 has had the full digital cluster since 2019.
Every other model gets it, this is the oldest one
They did a mild refresh. Easy to revamp the dash. An Elantra even has it.
Is not having full digital really a deal breaker for you? I never understood why it's so important for people to have that.
When do you guys test the new G80 sport?
Hopefully soon!
The manual and my service advisor says you can use 87 octane, and does not require premium unleaded on the 3.3l as it has adjustable on the fly timing.
Actually, I own a 2023 g70 3.3 RWD, sport prestige and manual says premium fuel only.

LOL ... kids these days.....
Can you please review 2022 Lexus nx and 2022 Rav 4
Yes, coming soon!
Hi Mason and Drew! Would you rather have this or a fully loaded Audi A4?
This all day over A4. You get the 3.3L twin turbo V6 for same price as Audi’s 2.0L 4 cylinder. Also, cannot beat Genesis’s warranty. It’s way better than Audi’s
@@TheAnimeDad64 But the Genesis won’t last past the first year. They catch on fire.
Hello! There are certain things I like better about both of them, but ultimately I'd have to with the G79 because it's more fun to drive
I own A4 and it's not a fair comparison. This is more like an S4 competitor. maybe even better.
@@TheAnimeDad64 uh no
Smile Meter is back! 😃
Yes.
Were it not for the split headlamps, the car wouldn't stand out on the road. The grille is pretty pedestrian.
Are you going to do a video of the Lexus NX 22??
Yes, hopefully soon!
Amazed that you still don't get the full digital display....
Agreed but don't want a fully digital one. My wife has the gv70 and it's fully digital and it's nothing special imo.
Partially digital dash is kinda goofy.
Who travels with coupons lol. You mention it several times lol.
The tech isn’t up to date imo especially with no 360 camera:( I wished they had full digital gauge and to redo the seats it screams cheap! I would rather get a Volvo S60 or Lexus IS
This isn’t a loaded car. Loaded has 360 and blows the interior of the IS away
The IS is essentially a 8 year old car
The sport prestige has a 360 view. I own the 22 g70 sport prestige, and I love it
