Rampt Test - Fail - 2 Weeks before the race

  • Sometimes your legs are good and sometimes they are not. I was hoping for a good result on todays test but i felt pretty quikly that the legs are not there for one. I pushed until 440W which is 40 Watts or 2 min below my target before I pulled the plug.

    How are you struggling on 170 hart rate?that is almost my talk pace. Also love your stuf👏

      My max is 192bpm, easy riding for me is around 110-120bpm, I didn’t struggle because of my HR, my legs were done, I can keep 170 HR for 2h in races 👍

    Ask yourself this: Is obsessing on your metrics directly helping your result in two weeks? No it is not. Nothing you can do in the next two weeks will change anything. It's your last few months that mattered. Now make sure you get a good taper and a few good nights of sleep. That's it.

      Don’t really need to taper for a sub 3h race, just 2-3 days. And no I’m not obsessed with the numbers or concerned as I know my fitness level independent of a test or not, but always nice to get confirmation in the tests. 👏👍
