Chinchilla (Daisy Bertenshaw) is 26 years old, from London, UK, and she is a rising star on the British music scene. She was a supporting act on Sting's 2019 European Arena tour and the opening act for the 2021 McFly tour. Chinchilla has also played some big European music festivals.

Yet another masterpiece composition from Ren! :) Btw, you do know that Hi Ren was live, single take, too? Most of his videos are. Even most of his raps are live rap performances, single take. Though the beats for those rap songs aren't live obviously. He raps, sings and beatboxes, all brilliantly! He's a world-class songwriter and a world-class lyricist, a poet really. He's a self-taught virtuoso on 7 different instruments! These include acoustic and electric guitar, bass guitar, ukulele, mandolin, piano/keyboard and drums! His performance skills are first-class too. He produces everything himself and lays down all his own music and beats. He even makes most of his own videos, in conjunction with his friend Sam. As stated earlier, most of them are recorded live, in a single take. He manages all this whilst suffering from severely debilitating and incurable, chronic illnesses. He's quite remarkable really! :)

Don't you think that in some many and strange ways, Ren is a kind of anti-Jacob Collier ? I mean, Jacob is a healthy boy born and living in his bedroom with all the confort to learn music and helped by the best musicians in the world, a pure musical intellect who can manipulate people's emotions with sounds, having so much fun doing it, etc. He is the musician's musician, delivering the message that everything is now free and possible. And on the other side of this same medal, Ren is a street musician, suffering diseases, making you fall in his rabbit hole, struggling with the darkest emotions, talking about death, solitude, madness. And he his the musician's memory, delvering the message that music has alway's been a gut thing, a story telling art, sometimes with very few tools. He calls his style Bardcore, and doing so, he connects anybody with the very true origins of this art... You may watch the Tales of Jenny, Screech & Violet trilogy to fully understand what I mean... I don't know, it's on my mind since I discovered both of them and so I'm glad you reacted both of them.
