Four singles so says EP on Spotify but the album coming in february. And it maybe will be the best album since Come Clarity for me. Btw great channel!

I've never really gotten into this sound, I wasn't into the really heavy stuff back in the day, more classic rock. But I gotta say I appreciate the melodic elements with that metal momentum. This scratched a lot of itches for me. Great reaction!
I can’t help remembering Gyroscope song when listening to this single. Seems The Halo Effect has just made Anders remember how great In Flames was… and how fans want them to be remembered!
The Halo Effect had only released 2 songs by the time this In Flames album was recorded. In Flames have always been content to go their own way. I doubt 2 songs rerouted the development of a CD that had already started to be arranged and recorded. Its fun for fans to talk about but I really believe both bands when they say it isn't a rivalry and with the amount of planning and writing involved in making a release, I just find it hard to believe The Halo Effect had any effect on the construction of this album
I hope In Flames finally returns from the dead. Remember how good The Jester Race was. Then only the deep fall followed.
Yeah I lost interest and stopped following them around the time of cloud connected as well. I understand maybe they wanted to go in a new direction for whatever reason but it just wasn't something that I enjoyed. I do enjoy the new stuff I feel like they're doing a good job of recapturing some of what made them unique but at the same time not just doing a simple copy paste they're really bringing kind of a more modern approach to it. This is my favorite of the new ones that I've heard. And of them it's definitely the one that's grown on me the most I liked it at first but I've really grown to like it having listened to it several times now. And yeah that is so true about the experience with renting movies back in the day lol.
Art is subjective, so I mean no hate. But IMO 5 years from now, people will still be appreciating Deceiver, Deceiver, Handshake with Hell, and House of Mirrors from Arch Enemy and this song (along with the other recent In Flames singles) will be forgotten on the dust heap of history.
