Alita was incredible but to be honest, the sweaty, smelly Captain Marvel haters were the reason a lot of us delayed seeing it. And we're the haters lol. Alita still managed to pull 400 mil against CM and your hate. Had circumstances been different, 800+ million yet another instant classic celebrated by all for what it achieved, and I just can't wait for the clickbait articles in time that will finally recognize this movie and then shoehorn 'woman hater' politics into it as the reason it only drew 400 mil, and everyone will follow suit and piss the ever living hell out of everyone who saw it when they remember why it only drew 400 mil but the ignorant readers of those future clickbait articles won't.
Saw both and there is some truth to this more so though for blade runner my god I still have daydreams about some parts of that film even now and I haven't seen it on the small screen since.
There better be a damn sequel to this movie. The most underrated action film of 2019 and man I really wanna see that sky city and see what Alita has to accomplish next.
there is about 6 movies worth of story, including her time as a wasteland roaming Merc for the City, her finally getting to the City and realizing its dark secrets, and then going to space and fighting in a pan-solar system Tournament, among other plotlines, such as ancient Vampire lady who was the one to beat Alita and is the reason she was dumped from space (not the city, like they think)
I love how cocky Grewishka is even after seeing both his allies get killed and losing his arm. He's got a small but powerful killing machine with a rocket hammer staring him down and he knows he's lost the fight, but he still manages to be menacing.
just a really really good movie. A real sleeper. And now so are the million or so of us, waiting still for the Sequel. Enough avatar and titanic. It's time to do this right.

I didn't feel like 'oh here we go, another female hero just to push the agenda', i felt a genuine and authentic connection between the character and was so happy to see her kick ass. Amazing story telling. Loved how it was less saying and more showing! Need a sequel asap!!!
The best part, to me, about Alita's character are the expressions she makes. Like when she's looking down into the hole and her eyes are wild and almost unhinged in their intensity. She does the same thing when Vector is talking about going after Hugo and Doc Ito, you can see from every detail in her face how she is imagining how many different ways to kill him, even letting out a little whimper of longing to rip him apart. She's a perfect character, perfectly played.

@@NotNowLater I think its because I saw the Alita trailer a week or two before i watched Captain Marvel but completely forgot Alita was out. I had the same feeling, that something was missing.
Now you know why Alita has an army and why people are fighting for an sequel.
Should have just gone to see both. That way you dont have to choose.
One of the best films of the last 20yrs. I loved it.
That's ridiculous.
this movie was kind of dumb
This was a masterpiece. It deserves more.
What a great movie. It's a touching movie with great story and amazing action scenes. Sequel is a must.
this movie was amazing honestly wasnt expecting much but was one of the best movies i have ever seen
Such a great film. Action scenes were sooooo badass. Love Alita! 😫
07:44 I still remembering watching this in imax 3D and was completely blown away by the visuals. The emotions depicted by Alita are so strong in this movie, really hope they do justice to what is there in Zalem and have a meaningful storyline. Looking forward to the sequel, first day first show!!
At first I thought Rosa Salazar's face was the only CG part of Alita, but then, in the BTS, I saw that ALL of Alita's body (including her clothes and hair) was CG.
*That's* how good the CG in this movie is, and I *love* it
Alita 2! Alita 2! Alita 2!
Alita made $404 mil worldwide at the box office on a $170 mil budget, so close to break-even. Hopefully, the 4K/blu-ray sale and the demands from the expanding fanbase will be able to convince the studio (now Disney) to finance a prequel/sequel. Haven't seen a movie so powerful and yet refreshing since a long, long time ago.
You know when are the blu-rays avaluable
a prequel would be far too spoilery, as nearly the entirety of Alita's backstory is a major factor in the story later, and knowing it ruins quite a few plot points, namely where and what the big mcguffin of the series is.
Intersting Alita VFX facts:
➢ 9 million polygons in one iris alone
➢ 132,000 hairs
➢ 2,000 eyebrows
➢ 480 eyelashes
➢ 47 hair styles
➢ 8,000 pieces in her CGI mannequin
➢ 800 internal parts in her body
➢ 2,700 parts in her Berserker body
➢ Total cumulative VFX rendering time of 432 million hours
How the hell their computers didn't crash rendering all of that ?
@@methlokaijufan9729 Weta Digital used 30,000+ computers to render the scenes.

An amazing and underrated film! I can't wait for a second part.
Second part = five or six prequels?
@@19XWyomingGrizFan My preference would be to pick up the story where it left off. It was kind of a cliff hanger.
Out of all the reviews I've read, I don't see a single hate comment about this film.
Best western Manga/Anime Adaptation. Period.
Magnificent film, this is what we need in entertainment today.
It is so sad that the movie Alita didn't get its recognition. It's an amazing and powerful movie and all of its fight scenes are choreographed brilliantly.
*woman with literally swords for arms mad dogs Alita into a fight*
*Alita breaks her skull, moves onto larger opponent*
So in love with this angel
That Alita what a Cyborg! Love her!
the cyborg female was not much skilled with her longer reach
Not to mention it's dormant but alitas combat programming is still there
@@jameslennie5203
Training not programming
this movie popped in theater without any promotion, I am so glad I gave it a chance as it was amazing
Lost how many times I have "studied" this movie now... Simply awesome in every way!
This was such a great movie. One of the best Cameron backed projects. Hope we get another one
All the fight scenes... worth the action.
The media and critics hated on this movie because of Craptain Marvel, this movie was way better!
Alita was incredible but to be honest, the sweaty, smelly Captain Marvel haters were the reason a lot of us delayed seeing it. Nobody wants to be seen associating with a bunch of NEETs from 4chan who wear the same clothing 5 days in a row, piss in soda bottles and hoard cum rags. Maybe take a god damned shower and groom yourself and we wouldn't have to avoid you like the plague.
@@x0acake Sounds like a load of shit excuses to me. I'm surprised you people didn't proclaim woman haters didn't go see it. It was a grand opportunity for clickbait articles about the 'lackluster' 400 mil because woman ha- OH THAT'S RIGHT, James Cameron said Wonder Woman wasn't as great as you made her out to be so you turned on him and didn't give his movie any press or go see it and gave it piss poor reviews out of spite and revenge.
WAAAAAAAY BETTER . CAPTAIN MARVEL SUCKS ASSSS
Godzilla was better than captain marvel.
The media and critics hated this movie because Alita here is not a man-hating toxic feminist Lesbian.
Of all the CG movies to have sequels this is one that needs one
We need the continuation of this story. There needs to be a sequel to this movie.
This film was on a different level, loved it!
The best movie of 2019 so far.
Hello
Your beautiful
"Watch her die."
should've specified which "her"

Hahaha exactly!
Exactly. The doctor was fearful but not for Alita I'd say ...
Best... Movie.... Ever...
I enjoyed every single minute of this movie, green lit the sequel already
I loved this movie so much. So much love in its creation. No shitty strong girl dialogue, just pure ass kicking and heart-wrenching moments.
All the fight scenes and action in the movie is just so great👍
Underrated movie
We demand part 2
We want Alita part 2
We need Alita part 2
One of the best film of 2019.
People made the same mistake of not going to see this film just like they did for blade runner 2049, which was arguably a masterpiece
Do you mind if we watch it on our home cinemas ?
Saw both and there is some truth to this more so though for blade runner my god I still have daydreams about some parts of that film even now and I haven't seen it on the small screen since.
blade runner sucks
@@eLmY-ni4ye Fact or opinion? Thanks for your opinion.
Shrivar Naidu blade runner 2049 is boring but a scenic masterpiece at the same time, this movie just looks mediocre/cheesy
Love this movie!! Had me on the edge of my seat while holding back tears.
Go watch this
This movie is so underrated. One of the best manga to live action movie adaptation in recent times.
We need more. A prequel and a sequel. Tell us her entire story. Wouldn't that be fun?
Last order alita 😊
This scean was kick ass....this movie really deserves more appreciation
She is adorable! 😍
Is so cute
Yes
I was going to see Glass. Got to the theater too late. Saw Alita Battle Angel instead in iMax. Best movie I've ever seen in my life.
To the many who slept on this amazing film, do yourself a favor and it to your collection. You’ll watch multiple times I promise
This movie is beautiful, I want a sequel soooo bad, we deserve it. I read the manga and it absolutely blew me away and I want that trilogy
Those kicks were just awesome. Absolutely love this movie ♥
This was an amazing film...Loved every second of this...
This movie is INSANELY good. I had no idea it was even out there. It's a Cameron masterpiece.
Character development and Rosa Salazar made this an excellentmovie (not perfect) but a lot better than expected and gained a lot of fans.
I love how cocky Grewishka is even after seeing both his allies get killed and losing his arm. He's got a small but powerful killing machine with a rocket hammer staring him down and he knows he's lost the fight, but he still manages to be menacing.
What an amazing movie wait till it blows up all of here will be like yeah we were here first we are the original true supporters
I hope Alita 2, as and when it is released, would blow up the domestic box office. Now that she has been introduced, it's gonna only get better.
Wow can't wait to see it I'll be at the edge of my seat
just a really really good movie. A real sleeper. And now so are the million or so of us, waiting still for the Sequel. Enough avatar and titanic. It's time to do this right.
Definitely need a part 2
This was that kinda movie.. Epic!
The first minute of this is such an Aladdin-type moment, love it.
This film is so underrated I loved it
This got to be the best Hollywood manga to movie adaptation yet
I never tire of watching Alita: Battle Angel.
6:32 I love that double side punch
I agree but I love this move at 7:38 and the somersault kick at 8:08
@@johnboehmer3913 The first one you mentioned seems like a perfect move for Batgirl to do if they ever bring her to the bring screen.
@@ThePurpleMushroom yeah I agree
I dont now what to say, it's just a masterpiece of a movie. I watched it like 4 times, 2 times in german, and 2 times in english. Just wow... Hope for a sequel!
I haven’t watched the movie yet, but just from this scene I can say she was always known as battle angel Alita in the manga series. Will rent this today, looks like a good movie
I don't care what the studio are saying this movie was AWESOME! and very well thought out compare to the anime!
Most underrated manga ever. We need at LEAST two more films to touch it.
Loved the dog hunter dude
The lawnmower man
I heard that but never saw it in the movie, where did they show it?
Just watched it and I enjoyed the fuck out of it! I love how natural they made the character. I didn't feel like 'oh here we go, another female hero just to push the agenda', i felt a genuine and authentic connection between the character and was so happy to see her kick ass. Amazing story telling. Loved how it was less saying and more showing! Need a sequel asap!!!
I’m glad, I think she was so unique of a character too.
Awesome movie with great action, drama and Sci Fi. Give it a chance and decide for yourself.
This movie was so underrated man
The best part, to me, about Alita's character are the expressions she makes.
I just watched this movie for the first time a few days ago and I have to say, I really regret not having gone to the theaters to see this on the big screen. It's truly an amazing movie.
Awesome, I saw this movie 8 times
10 times for me!
