Yes. They know exactly what they are doing. And they don't care, except that they actually LIKE it. They LIKE to see you sad. They LIKE that they can control your emotions, play you like a violin.

They know exactly what they're doing to you, they just don't care. They're too preoccupied with their own needs and interests. They deflect any faults on to whoever is closest to them, they never take responsibility for what they are doing to you. Instead they will focus on your flaws or mistakes. If you haven't done anything recently for them to justify what they're doing to you, they will dig up your past and use that against you.

I think they know that their behavior is pretty bad but they don't know that they have a disorder. In fact they consider themselves normal and entitled to treat us the way they do.
They are sadistic demons. That *is* their purpose. To hurt and cause pain.
They also seem to take everything personal, especially when they are called out or their evil deeds are exposed. They turn the tables like they are the ones being attacked. Very Sick individuals.
They never want to let you go as well, even when you've discovered who they really are. They are cowards, they run from reality. They need to just disappear and never return
Coming from MY experience, they are aware and DONT care. They see their behavior as powerful and almost as a super power that us normal human don’t possess
I think they take great pleasure in hurting us. The ex would drive me to tears, then smile as he watched me cry.
The narcissist knows exactly what they are doing. They get validated by you feeling a certain way about them. Whether it may be a good feeling or a bad feeling. It makes them feel good because they have a sense of, that person feels sad because i made them feel that way or that person feels happy because i made them feel that way. They constantly seek validation in men & women both. Be aware of a person who is always trying to rush everything. Rush the relationship to marriage, rushing you to move with them. Know that everything in life is a process from the time we are born to when we become adults. Everything is a process & takes time, you have to crawl before you walk. The narcissist is born running!
I think they get a glimpse they what they do is f'd up, but they won't dwell on it long enough to wholeheartedly admit it and be truly remorseful and humble before their victims.
The narc is always in survival mode, making a come up on other people's hard work and not giving them any credit.
The devil comes to steal, kill and destroy. With every day that passes I become more and more convinced the jezebel spirit inhabits these malignant narcissists bodies. Keep your armour of God on over the coming days people. (For non-believers: boundaries have NEVER been more imperative.)
I am so sick of being this woman who knows what type of person I am with...all the destruction I allow inner and outer. Filling myself with videos, articles and comment threads on what I know is already true. Asking questions that have been already answered somewhere deep in my psyche. This is maddening! I have a plan to escape this summer, but find myself comfortable in the world I have researched so much on. Knowing this life is not normal, knowing this man is complete garbage, knowing I have cut off the people who truly love and care for me because of the mental trauma this "man" has caused.. I either sit here and joke with him, watch a movie with him, give myself to him (even though I feel worse during and after). Or I walk around angry knowing my plan', hating every move he makes, the way he chews, stares, walks... What in the actual h e l l is going on! I literally feel like I have gone crazy! I know he will never walk away and I hate him even more for not bouncing on me and making me pick up the pieces! Just venting.. Thank you for keeping this situation real, I tend to let moments of kindness for my mind so I come here for a reality check.
When my ex tried to Hoover me and I wasn’t having it, she got pissed and told me how happy she was I didn’t figure it out and how miserable and unhappy I was. So they know what they do. Bye bye narc!!

Nope, of course not. If they were to look at themselves and their actions and really recognize the effect their actions have on us, it would destroy them. Imagine how you'd feel if you woke up tomorrow and realized every awful thing you'd ever done and felt all the guilt and shame at once. Their inability to take accountability for their actions is what keeps them from suicide.
When they purposely separate from their 'true self', they accept their fate. They then live without love, or true love, compassion, empathy, and all attached with the true self. This selling of the soul can happen between the ages of 4 to 9, but no older than 9. They are forever children trapped in the body of an adult. My ex, has confessed to this. They know they have separated and can even state the age that they separated. They know. They know everything they do is hurtful and mean and that they are not good people. When low on fuel, I did ask a few questions and then cut off when his fuel was back up again. They have very little energy to work with when low on fuel and can at times, answer honestly. We are all just tools, in their life, even their family. They are not loyal to anyone. It's all for them and their sick agenda, to repeat, over and over and over again. Repeating everything, throughout their life. They know, but they don't have the capacity to change, for they are separated from the true self and the true self holds the key to changing, loving, reflecting and healing.
Being wicked is a choice. It doesn't happen by chance.
One narcoblob came by my place for my birthday yesterday..he said 'I bought something for you' and shoved a melted hersheys chocolate bar down my cleavage..later when he was back at his house, he texted me a photo of the same hersheys chocolate bar, unmelted. Doesnt that sound like gaslighting at its finest Quinn? Narcs love to try and sabotage your birthday. It's better to be alone in quarantine than saturated with the toxic fumes of a Blob.
Yes they know how far to go and what not to do they just don't care about how it affects you sometimes they care enough to not mess up what they need from you.

The narcissists run the same program on others with minimal tweaks even AFTER they clearly failed before.
They know. People have told them over the years. People they interact with need to stop telling them how to re-hone their skills. It’s the only reason why they ask for feed back.
A good example of this is the Gabriel Fernandez story about the boy who was tortured to death by his own mother and her boyfriend. They were getting off on the suffering and agony of a defenseless child. This is the narcissist’s true nature... I can’t wait until all these scumbags are burning in hell with Satan.

Of course they recognize the negative effects, that's WHY they do it for FUEL, and they genuinely do NOT CARE if you get hurt, unless it affects them negatively.
Don't expect genuine apologies, regret or remorse for having hurt you. It's not even on their radar.
Hurting you is overshadowed by the fact that they got what they wanted.
That's all that matters as they are is constant survival mode.
Hurting and neglecting your feelings was essential to their survival in their minds.
If they come back, it's because they NEED something from you. That's it.
They never cared about you to begin with, so they are not magically going to start caring once they start damaging you.
The narc in my life used to say that I looked “cute” when I was mad and that when we argued it turned him on. Smh I wish I knew then what I knew now. The more that I cried the meaner and colder he got. The fuel that I gave him makes me sick to my stomach till this day. He is currently in prison still hoovering and still sending threats after trying to kill me. He’s IN PRISON AND STILL WONT STOP! it’s scary and it’s real. They know and they won’t stop even if they have to destroy themselves in the process to destroy you. It’s the most evil thing in the world these people are wicked. For instance, a narc can be so petty & fixated on their target that they will go as far as on reporting something that has NOTHING to do with them. Yep, out of all the narc channels out there, I think you capture the 'narc essence' the best. I think people have a hard time hearing how broken and quite frankly, 'unfixable' narcissists really are. No empathy in them. You can't change them. No matter how much love you give them. Everything is about power and fuel. Cult like behavior and you must worship them or you will be severely punished. Get out of these relationships before they kill you or steal your Body mind spirit and soul. they are evil. Vicious cycle of sweet and mean that's called abuse. My chronically abusive and harshly critical ex-narc...would continually scowl and comment that I seemed to be ‘depressed’ and therefore I was ’no fun’ to be around anymore. Hence, using that as his go-to excuse for his endless hook-ups on the narc-driven Ashley Madison site. Whether he realized his harsh criticism and stronghold control over me (via withholding money) was the CAUSE of my depression...he never let on. Far be it from him to ever admit that anything he was doing, may have been the cause my deteriorated sense of self worth.

You have helped me to really understand what I was dealing with and in turn I have gained the strength after a time do detach and quit trying to figure out why he did this...and why he did that because it will never make any sense to a normal human being. I got my light back and not looking back to the darkness. As usual, you are 100% correct.
My ex narc wife gave our 8 year old daughter’s dog away just to spite me because I decided to go no contact after she left the house. Come to find out she was with another dude, then goes on to introduce him to our kid 2 weeks after she leaves the house. My kid was devastated. Not to mentione this was all signed off by her dumbass parents. She has forced my daughter to be nice to her new supply and threatened to get her in trouble if she didn’t comply. She’s a sadistic bitch But guess who doesn’t want to be with mommy during this quarantine?

It's completely pathetic really. That this knowledge, being mainstream, cannot stop this epidemic from being eradicated from society. Not because of the knowledge, but rather because the narcissists themselves don't know how stupid they end up looking. This is worse than any physical pandemic that humanity has ever faced, but social distancing doesn't exactly get rid of the problem either. It just stops the spread of the disease.

In order to use people, the narc has to play a role. Thats what I realized looking back at my relationship with a narc. Everything was fake. Everything was about obtaining things from me. So do they know what their doing? EVERY SECOND WAS CALCULATED. But as they get older playing the role gets harder for them. The narc knows how the situation will end, like so many other times. This makes them bitter, frustrated and worse as the years go on. Thank God, this is what happened, he got sloppy. I saw him for what he really is.

I think I might have broken no contact today. So basically, have been trying to file my taxes since the beginning of March due to the virus that is taking over our lives right not. So a few days after I filed the first time, I got a rejection saying that I wasn’t allowed to claim my children as dependents. So I filed again with the notice that said someone has already claimed your dependents. As soon as I read that I already knew. So I immediately went to the it’s website to see what I could do. Well rightfully so, the irs is barely taking phone called due to staffing. So I made a police report and filed an identity theft claim with the FTC and the IRS. The representative told me to give the idiot a call and inform him. Well I wasn’t gonna do that so I had a third party relay the message. So at this point I don’t think he’s a narcissist. He’s definitely a psychopath. I was wondering why I had to keep sending his irs letter return to sender. Well heres where the shit hits the fan. My children are not his and we haven’t lived together in almost three years. He’s been using my children’s information for the last 4 years. Stealing money from children during basically a pre-famine.

I have a friend who's a strict Christian. He's got a big heart, I know that he means well, but with religious belief can come a very thick/analytical head. He's laden with word-triggers. Talking to him is often like creeping through a mindfield. If I stray too far from his Jesus-confirmed vocabulary - even if I use direct synonyms in place of the words he's used to - he starts to shut down and get stiff. The worst it gets is when he plays thought police and will try to shut down ideas/lines of thinking that he believes aren't correct. It's subtle, but very felt and frustrating. It's like talking to a brick wall sometimes. Ideas don't develop, unless I make sure to stay in the proximity of his playpen. Anyway, I'm done venting. Just curious if anyone has this going on. He's really not a bad guy, but his religious software can really restrict and constrict a natural, flowing, honest communication. Appreciate you brother (and everyone here) for navigating this mentally insecure world.
