I had a street glide and a road glide and I found I prefer the road glide way better just felt better riding it so I sold the street glide I guess it’s just the individual’s preference but they are both great bikes no matter which you choose
I just bought my first Harley this year, 09 Ultra Classic. I wanted a Road Glide initially, butin a few years when I want to upgrade, I may stay with the same platform. The taller bars line up esthetically better and the wind buffetting is almost nonexistent with the shorter windshield. Overall, I really like the look better.
Low how the street glide’s fairing is taller. To me it looks way better from the front view. I love how the road glide looks from the side view, but it looks weird at the same time. It’s too far forward. Even though I would’ve absolutely bought a RG years ago, but now I’m leaning towards the SG. Both seem awesome bikes. I’ve test ridden both, I felt that the SG seemed more fun, it lacks the storage though.
There are so many opinion's on the proper way to break in a new motor. Some points that are good to know however is, vary your speed and de-accelerating will help seat the rings in, if they even do need it. Here is a video from Doc Harley giving the best advice for your new bike. th-cam.com/video/oeY5q4E4hKk/w-d-xo.html
Street Glide looks so much better, I have the Ultra Classic and gives you the extra lights and going around bends the lighting is much better. And I like having gauges up higher. But both are nice.
I’ve had both. They are both nice bikes. RG handles a bit better at speed. I like the dash layout of the SG better. In that paint scheme I think the SG looks better.
I'm with you because SGs remind me of Alien and RGs remind me of Predator, and I like Alien better, but I think if you're a longer person the RG might suit you better
Thanks for your input but you and your friends don’t count as everyone 🙂 there’s tons of people who are learning about the brand that’s who this video is for…….

Absolutely 👍🏽
owning both a '20 RG and '21 SG, the difference I find is that you sit differently making for a different experience

Not much of a black bike fan, but really like the Apex paint scheme…yes, that I’d make an exception for. Nice content.

I like the apex road glide more than the other apex bikes

Can't stand road glides lol. I need that fairing to move where and when them bars move ! Street Glide >
I'm with you because SGs remind me of Alien and RGs remind me of Predator, and I like Alien better, but I think if you're a longer person the RG might suit you better
Road glide all the way owned a street glide for years bought a road glide 10x better
I always thought it was the same bike. I just thought one was newer than the other.
Road glide all day....I just saved you time watching
Road glide looks more aggressive! I’m bored with the bat wing!
Nice 👌🏽🙏🏽
👍🏽
I think we all know the difference. They’re a 1000 videos on this subject.
Thanks for your input but you and your friends don’t count as everyone 🙂 there’s tons of people who are learning about the brand that’s who this video is for…….
I didn't know the difference until i watched this video.
There's also people like me who enjoy watching 1,000,000 videos on it since 1,000 isn't enough for me XD
Does he really work at HD? "It feels safer". Come on man.
I guess you are trying to educate non Harley owners about these bikes.
Yup
It helped me alot. I did not kno the differe ce between these bikes n want to buy one. I ride a yamaha at the moment
yanks who complain about a non moving fairing as a hindrance to riding need to learn to ride, reduced weight on forks equals better handling
