I had a st like yours, and I have a 2018 Heritage 114 with a cam and slip ons. I also have a 2023 Highway King and last a 2024 CVO st. The Heritage is my favorite it handles great and does everything great.
Got the Street Bob and the ST Tobbaco. Love the Street Bob contrast. Put forwards on it and lowered it. Stripping it down as much as I can. Chain conversion next. Higher apes etc. Great combo for me. Love both!
My wife and I both have RG3's. I traded in a Fat Bob. After several months, bought a 17 FXDLS. Loved it, but the ride was too hard on my back. Got the 24 CVO Road Glide ST a month ago. Love everything about it, can't go wrong!!
Hi pal, I have been contemplating getting a heritage for a while. I think it is the most versatile bike hands down! I agree with you, they have not been overly customized, would like to see you get one and put your twist on it. Take one out and give us some content to go on for the heritage. Peace
Agree with you on the Heritage being overlooked. Crazy you say the bags because that’s the only thing I didn’t like. Had I not rode my boys Road King I would have probably grabbed one but after that I knew I wanted a touring bike.
I'm speechless..... A lot of your contemporaries ate getting older bikes from the 70', 80's & 90's and refurbishing them bringing them up to date. The Heritage would be a challenge given the nostalgic throwback that it is already. Road Glide, should've just kept the one you had. Pan America, others have tried. Good Luck with that one.
Pan American is something I'm been thinking of for commuting to work over the any touring bike since I've been use my Sportster for last last 26yrs and been waiting to also add a motorcycle that can to do both commuting and short touring trips
Had a 99 heritage. What a bike! Considering how long it's been around, starting with the EVO engine, it sure has some staying power for an overlooked bike. The new bags annoy me. So understated. Check out the viclas, and the potential is AMAZING. Pan America is my obvious choice for an additional bike. Hooligan that thang! Even going cross country, that's pretty comfy/ergo machine. Once they get the bugs out of it, it will give a huge run to the GS/KTM SA. Both local dealers have regular road rides, and then adventure rides for the PanAm crowd. It's gonna be huge. Now, if they ever introduce the Bronx, we may have another discussion.
The Heritage is quite the suprise, but i do agree it is an overlooked motorcycle and it's both stunning and a brilliant bike. I also agree about the Pan America, and i really considering to get one as a third bike. You've made three good choices here, at least according to my liking and taste! 👍🏼
I knew it man, I waited till you said it and I wasn't wrong LOL I just sold my Low Rider S and bought a Pan Am. Incredible machine all around, from performance, to comfort, to electronics, to high spec components, to looks. It's the easiest Harley to ride BY FAR and it opens so many more roads as well. The only bike in the lineup that you truly don't need to mod, except for the exhaust of course. If you want to go nuts though, there are so many insane Pan Am builds that people did. I hate ADV bikes in general, but the Pan Am is different, it looks absolute killer.
I'm in a similar boat as you, Lowrider ST owner looking to buy a secondary bike. Totally agree that getting a completely different style is the way to go, top of my shortlist right now is a Triumph Scrambler
@@kielperry7219 Awesome! You're living the dream man, the 1200 is a beast of a bike. I'll have to test ride the different models, but I'm leaning toward the 900. Not looking to off road really, and it seems a little more chill than the 1200
I traded my 2019 heritage for my 2024 road glide. It was killer. I worked mine. Put risers hand gripes shifter pegs and mirrors from Arlin Ness. 2 into 1 TBR Woods performance cam big sucker air saddleman seat. Smoked alot of bikes on the road.
They need to drop a fat bob with the 121 and a full size tank. That would be the one to get. Easily the funnest riding Harley I tried. The only one I can’t speak to is the pan America.
I’ve had plenty of off-road adventures on dirt bikes, but I can completely understand what you’re saying but I am more into the street scene at 58 years old them heritage are pretty awesome bikes. I’ve been thinking about getting me a second Harley and I’ve been torn between the heritageand Road King. What do you think?
If you asked me 6 months ago. I would say Pan America. Now I want nothing to do with Harleys. I went done to my local dealer this weekend to put bike away for winter. Ask them to input my mileage for the HOG points. Said they won't do that. Then looked at the old 2024s and they wanted $10,000-$16,000 over MSRP. Strike 2. Then was going to pay for the storage and they wanted to charge 3% more if I used my Harley Davidson Visa. Strike 3. I know I can go to another dealer but why should I have to deal with traveling when there's plenty of other manufacturers closer that actually want customers. I'm done with Harley Davidson.
My question is, Why? You seem to mainly ride local on-road day rides, your ST can also tour. Why waste money on another bike? Do you have that much riding time? I can only think to enable you to have more YT content. And then, why only HD? There are so many other brands that are so good. I have 4 bikes, but all have difference uses: a cruiser and big adv bike, then a dual sport and a small adv bike. Having a variety of bikes for a variety of riding styles (both on road and offroad) opens up so much more in the riding world. If you are going to take the Pan America off road then do yourself a favour, get yourself a small lighter dual sport bike, get some lessons and practice on the smaller bike to develop your skills first before you attempt it on the big Pan America. I have the Pan America and love it and use it for 2-up touring over my Low Rider any day of the week, and if we come across some gravel roads, then, no problems. But on the more gnarly offroad tracks, you're better off with a smaller lighter bike. If you're going to stay on-road 99% of the time, then the Pan America is great - just buy a 2024, Harley appears to have fixed all the issues that have plagued previous year models.
Harley missed with the PA. They should have taken an evo sporty, raised it a couple of inches, put a small screen on it, gave it some bags, and called it an adventure bike. Then the Harley crowd, who don't appreciate refinement, power, comfort, and technology, would go bat shit crazy over it. They could even charge double and these guys would love it because it shakes and rattles and hurts like hell to ride for more than 30 minutes and they can still spend thousands and thousands of dollars making it something else. Problem solved. You're welcome. I love the Pan America, btw. It's a killer bike! Im seriously considering one myself.

Owned a 2019 Heritage 114. FANTASTIC bike. It was my commuter for the year, 32K miles, not a single issue. Looking forward to getting another one.

The dealer I work at has a 2018 heritage 115th anniversary edition and it’s a beautiful bike!
I have the 24 road glide, awesome bike but I do like all your picks I'm fond of pam America standard love the rims

Glad you went with the Pan Am, I loved it from the first time I rode it. It’s a true game changer!
Can you actually log big miles on it being that it has mids without being a short dude?
@@JorgeL1 I can sit there for hours because my feet under my hips, it’s a well designed sitting position.

I love all the icon models
I own a '24 Road Glide and am considering the Pan America Special as a second bike.
The seat on the Heritage the comfort is insane for a stock seat.
It is actually

The number one adventure bike for me is bmw1250gsa. I own a road king and 2024 road glide.
I get the Pan America and the Heritage because you haven’t owned either before. The Pan America seems so different for you, go for it!
I’m going 2025 CVO ST. I’d take that Pan America too and mod it Super Hooligan style.
The bags on the heritage aren't my tease also and the seat with does metal studs kill it for me
I see you picking the Street Glide or Road King. But I would like for you to go in a different direction. Think about the Breakout or Fat Boy.
I don’t know about you, but I’m going for the Fat Bob 114 blacked out with a 2 in 1
For me Soft tail deluxe, V-Rod, and my RKS.
👍🏽
Nooooo, Pan Am noooooo! I had one! Lots of electronics issues! 4 months later I traded for the 2022 Road Glide!
They’ve fixed the issues as far as I know..
