Your attitude stayed positive and that’s always good when fishing. 6 days of not getting one is hard on the mind but as you said you’ve learned a lot and that does count and will help you on future trips . Tn seems to be another great place to catch one if you're ever interested in heading out there...I know Wisconsin is the most highly regarded though.

I am no saltwater guru but for bigger flies and streamers on a faster action is generally preferable
Fast action is usually preferred for bigger flies, saltwater, and Muskie

Why would anyone want to fish for Musky? No one seemed surprised or upset that they caught none.Six days with guides and nothing? I love to fly fish and hang out with friends but……
If musky breed in 83 degree water you get more female musky. If they breed in 88 degree water you get male pike. Or maybe thats the wrong kind of gator
Well that's a lot of work for no fish and a sore shoulder, I'll stick to bass and gills
I disagree with your views on whether or not you should count your first musky. In my opinion, foul hooking means he missed and you didn't. Just one man's opinion
