This is the type of speech needed in such times, seen by people not only in Russia, but all over the world.
"Dictatorships have secured access to violence. In my country (and not only there) it is believed that politicians who avoid bloodshed are weak. It is believed that threatening the world with war is the duty of true patriots. In our country, the strong actively promote the idea of war (…) You are asked to die for your country and not to live for your country. This militaristic rhetoric will do great harm to the world. " - we need to rediscover Goya - "The Sleep of Reason Produces Monsters" ... Wake up and see the non-distorted reality, instead of a virtual reality insinuated by others in the minds of people.

Reminds me of the British Wars.
People living on the Outskirts where targeted by British Armies.
British lost their first Battalion and sent in another to take control of the area, forcing many to flee.
First half, which would make it a regiment in my mind, attack in the fog against the natives and lost.
Imagine ambushing 1,000 troops, im sure they had muskets, but i think it might have been during the sword age.
