Wow! I am somewhat surprised it was so hot there. I have always thought of September to be an ideal month for R2R trip....might have to re-think that now after watching your highlights lol. Great shots!

End of September may not be bad, but I would go in October for the best temps. Depends on the year too, sometimes the cold weather starts sooner!
