Just amazing. You create the most realistic scenery of anyone. Since you’re the tree master now.. I have a challenge. I believe you would enjoy. The tree is endangered and nearing extinction so you’d also be spreading awareness. Just think of the opportunities! It’s a dramatic tree and unique. You should make a WEEPING WILLOW tree. I can see this being both challenging and rewarding.
I have to say... I enjoy the sound of your voice (and the fun terms like "crack on with it" and "fiddly" that aren't common here) almost as much as the videos themselves...
Thank you for the video. I am an S scale 1/64 railroader and live south of Savannah GA. The Live Oak Tree in my yard is about 6ft trunk with branches about 90 ft long. That is what I want to model.
Hello Merrick, there has been a giant ancient Oak tree in Santa Barbara, California for over at least a hundred years.. My mother loved it so much she reproduced it using oil paints. That painting is one of my prized possessions. This stunningly realistic Oak you created reminds me of it. Beautiful work, well done. Thanks for sharing. See ya next time.
Like number 999 baby! Yeah man, I haven't been this excited since I "accidentally" gave myself iron poisoning! All levity aside, this is amazing work! I couldn't tell if the tree was true oak or not. Your work is really inspiring me to get back into model making and the like.
Hello Merrick, it´s a wonderful tutorial and an amazing tree. A 1/4 cup (british) are 71,03265 ml ..... google is a good toy to look for things like this. Wishes from Germany Stephi
Great work.👍 I also rly would like to see a whole galaxy diorama, with so mich details as possible. It may will your biggest and most time consuming project, but definitely worth! What do you think ?
@@HighEyeWorkshop an oak tree is about 70 foot tall, so 18 inches would put it at about 1/24 scale in case you are interested, thank you for the reply.
I made a static grass spreader. Thought I’d see how strong the electric shock would be (I know 🙄..couldn’t help myself 🤷♀️). Well, it certainly gave me a whack! Got the sweats after it 😂 what a plonker
I love your videos, your skills are just totally amazing, just one tiny tiny comment, during your video you refer to the wonderful company “Diorama Presepe “ the correct pronunciation of the Italian company’s name is Per-Sep-E , I apologise for being one of those people who grumble over such things but I have a name that some people find hard to pronounce and I know how that makes me feel - anyway please please keep the videos coming, there great 👍
Thank you 😊 I listened to the Italian pronunciation and struggled to hear if it was 'e' or 'eh', and also I didn't want to make a fool.of myself so stuck with the phonetic English 😂
High Eye Workshop I apologise if it seems petty, so many comments are just people having sour grapes lol, I’m in the middle of learning Greek and my pronunciation is totally rubbish, my Greek friends laugh at me a lot - anyway please keep producing your wonderful masterpieces myself and my wife love watching them 👍
This is the most realistic model of a tree I ever seen. The photos are indistinguishable from a real oak. How high is the tree?
Thank you. Just shy of 18 inches.
My tree is very small in comparison ... th-cam.com/video/6poDrY9qhqU/w-d-xo.html
So realistic, I bet it would grow if he planted it
This is the most realistic diorama tree ever made. Amazing work. So well done

Pretty impressive! I work in 1:48 and 1:43. Trees are so big .... a 70ft Oak would be nearly half a meter high!

Hello. The tree looks really great. Thanks for the video. Greetings Tino
Cheers Tino 😄
You can't fool me mate, I see through your tricks. It is a real tree and a giant model hand you are trying to fool us with. :) Great job by the way.

wonderful. could you please give me the name of modelling compound brands ?
It's in the video: Geek Gaming. Also.in description.
Just wondering.. do you have US distribution. Seems all the best dio suppliers are in the UK.. 🤨
I get all my stuff from the UK and Europe, but I sell.diorama kits to the US. Woodland Scenics are US-based.
