I have the wired edition, just bought it 2 years ago. This is my second wired Kraken headset from Razer, and their wires are trash. It keeps disconnecting and reconnecting, with a loud pop in your ear. I would love my wired headset if it worked right!!!
i have only had my wired kraken for a year and its crackling and thats why im having to watch this video to figure out if the wireless is better

Both headsets are lightweight for what they are. I used to play Valorant for +12 hours a day using the wired version, and I’ve never felt like the weight was crushing down on me. Since they’re over ear type, my ears are always comfy. I think one of my issue with the wired was that the cooling gel was not as effective as I want it to be. But hey I’ve been playing for 12 hours… 🤣
Bluetooth headset is perfect! I used it for my 14 hour flights. I also use it around the house listening to online lectures. 🤣

The mute button on the wired version is on the mic. :)
Cheila Alves is right! The mute button is around the microphone itself on the wired version. If you press on it, it will give you a click sound and a red color if plugged in! A red color indicates that the microphone is muted. :)
Lovely review! Can you tell me if you can skip music tracks on Spotify using the BT edition paired with a PC or any device that is not a cellphone?

@@eflinsena well, i had an old Steel Series headset with cable, this Is my first Bluetooth one. I use them for listen to music while i am cleaning my house and the sound Is good for me, and they aré very confortable for the ears too. Wanted the Kitty ears so badly. For sure out there must be other cheap and better options, but for me this was like an auto gift, so i am very happy!!!
How is the quality of mic and audio quality on the bt version while in calls? Some people say that the bluetooth is trash on the audio when on calls
Short answer: Yes, it is horrible. You will need a separate mic for the quality to be okay. Even the laptop mic will work, or the mic of a (any brand) wired earphones you have.
Long answer: This is not an issue for the headset itself; it's an issue for most bluetooth headphones. If you have a pair of any bluetooth headphone (AirPods, Galaxy Buds, any brand), try pairing it with a non-Apple laptop. If you go on call, you will notice that the audio quality is really bad. This is true for most brands. Hope this helps!

Hello! No, it does not. I bought it separately. It’s called the Razer Base Station Chroma V1. It’s around 60 USD. ❤️
Hard to decide, but heres some reality the wired one is actually 50 euro price. Yes you pay 100 plus for two ears and couple rgb lights made from cents which you will never see and noone wont as you wont take outside. You can buy for 50 same headphones. They are Called razer kraken they have 50mm driver inside while wireless has 40mm. All that mumbo jumbo with gelk are bunch of crap. But most important razer kraken wired brakes simply snaps in two, after 3 months brakes plastic either on top ir on side and people where using realy carefull. They are heavy and the top stars making pain as very thin and cusshion also cheap thin. Next wireless you must read instruction install app and make more bass corections. People say little play in app in custom and voice will sound very clearly also adding bass works good. This makes sence 50mm driver is very good in bass, but fails in mids and treble. Which is good for gaming while 40mm the wireless one is worse in bass and better in trebles and mids good for music. But still you can add bass Also there is wireless one hello kitty which is so so cute but no rgb on ears. Also make attention wireless has different plastic connections ears made of better soft material and weight is low Most people want to go out what other people would look at ears in sports club while training with wire forget it. You buy stand extra if yiu want on both

Hi! I always use my BT edition for my Macbook. It sounds the same as how it would sound on any other device. ❤️ Personally, I think it sounds good. :)

@@coolboydjibril8343 Hi! Unfortunately, I don’t play Roblox. I do play Valorant. The quality is bad when I use the headphones as both input and output device (which means both as microphone and speakers). This happens to my AirPods too when I connect it to a Windows laptop. Whenever I use the BT edition as just output device, the audio quality is amazing. :)
Also, if you’re wondering about “gaming mode”, I haven’t tried it yet because I don’t know how to use it. XD Have fun 🎀✨
@@aviluxi3464 Gaming mode is really good, really low latency. I connected my headset up to my Switch using the new bluetooth audio option and played some Sonic 2 since audio latency is normally very noticeable in that game and it worked amazingly. It probably works better still on a device that supports BT5.0.
BTW gaming mode is toggled on/off by triple tapping the power button but you hold on the last press so its [tap, tap, long press]

No USB c, no audio jack......a Shame...still Nice headset, i mean the only cooler headset ice ever seen is in the airplane a adult woman watching movies while here headphones were Having more disco mode and RGB Them the Red light district on saturday night 😂

And no, probably wasn't you. It's was from a airplane coming from Brazil. And there they have more disco speakers then we can buy on the internet(garden/beach/ cheap / partys) And sometimes the disco moves with a tourist from 45 from the country into the plane 😂
In my child his city ,the colonist museum got a 1800's? Speaker with disco in it 🥲👌

I have just 2 questions. What stands did you use and what’s the difference between the different modes on both of them.
The wired version has a cosplay mode which basically just means it will light up (?) when it’s on cosplay mode. You can connect the headphones to powerbank while on cosplay mode. I think you can change the color settings on the cosplay mode through Synapse.
The BT edition has a gaming mode and I honestly don’t know how it works. 😅 I think it reduces the latency which is ideal for gaming. I’m not sure what happened when I tried it on the first day, but I don’t really use the BT for FPS gaming so I can’t give you so much information.
I just realized I didn’t answer the other question! I used the Razer Base Station Chroma V1 and the Onikuma pink stand, which came free with the BT edition from the seller. :)
Work on PS4?
The wired version works with the PS4. I think some people have problems with using the microphone. I’m not sure about the BT one.

Hello! If you meant the headsets, yes they are both working just fine. If you meant the headset stand (base station chroma), yes, it still does work too. :) If you meant a different HS, then please tell me the meaning hehe
