The theory of the music video is that the entire music video is about how toxic relationships can be, Jisoo is the narrator while the other three are in the bad relationships because of how toxic the relationship was Jennie sought out professional help but it didn’t work. Later her boyfriend bought her flowers, but Jennie went hysterical leading to the car accident in the parking lot. Lisa has an unrquited look as she looks up longingly at the boy. She carries the entire relationship as represented by the “for you” on her hammer smashing scene. She carries everything for herself. A nearby sign read “you have to be alone” and the car plate reads “bad boy” hinting her bf left her. Incredibly lonely she jumps of the roof. Rosé is trying to hold the relationship by trying to find things in common by playing the guitar . Their relationship falls apart and as she grows depressed she drowns her self in the bath tub. Jisoo os heartbroken by the deaths of her friends she tried to stay happy with the flowers representing hope and the hour glass repressing how she wished she could of saved her friends. She wishes she could have ran faster to save her friends. After her running scene she remembers their memories. The sign at the back read NOTHING which is how she felt and then later drowns her self in the pool she was standing in. After they all be happier together in the after life.
The guy was cheating on all of them , He already played Jisoo's heart , that's why the guy wasn't with Jisoo through out the M/V. She knows what he is up to , that's why she runs to save all the girls , other than that I agree.
@@chu1880 at first I was just bouncing to the song , like I do with every single one , and then focus on the actual M/V. And the M/V was so deep and meaningful😭
i feel like what this M/V sets apart, is that it actually has a story line. i don't remember, but a fan pointed it out: that the end is paraside while the girls committed su*cide because of a break up. (jisoo water scene, rosé bathtub, etc...).
Y’all guys should stop locking Jennie in the fast rap box. Yes her fast delivery is insane but D4 is literally her only fast flow. She switches up everytime so don’t expect her to have the same flow over and over. Also a cut throat rap would’ve sounded out of place for LSG. As for the lyrics her verse is all wordplay so I’m hella impressed.
crazy over you is bomb. jenlisa's raps. chaesoo's vocals were fire. crazy over you was amazing its sad to see the work put it in nd people hating on it.
@@jess679. I like the chorus, I can see what the producers were thinking and I really liked it. I think the chorus was meant to be like that to be kinda sexy and I liked it. Just my opinion though, I still respect yours!
The only thing I don't like about LSG is the MV thumbnail, I think they could've used a better one but I'm happy that their first full album thumbnail includes all 4 members.
I totally agree with this..for her to call the lyrics stupid is straight up kind of rude in my opinion bc 1. Writing lyrics aren’t easy and 2. I don’t think she writes songs so who is she to call someone out
@@NonchalantSims yes as a blink if felt disrespectful not just for me but for the girls too, to call crazy over you ugly it was rude and could've been said in another way. i know not everyone's going to like every song but you simply can state your opinion respectfully. however, calling it ugly was really disrespectful 💁🏻♀️. but stan bp for clear skin 🤚🏻.
Exactly! Remember Lisa’s rap in IC... the beat was slow but she rapped fast and people was complaining about the fact that it didn’t fit with the beat so why do people expect for her to always rap fast...?
Lovesick Girls and You Never Know are the only k-pop songs I cried listening to. Rosé’s bridge and her line « Everyone eventually leaves » while we see her crying in her bathtub hurt too close from home. You Never Know was not my favorite at first but seeing the lyrics and Jennie singing « You never know unless you walk in my shoes » while knowing she gets backlash from literally breathing- Man when I tell you I listen to this all time now
my the album ranking: 1. crazy over you 2. pretty savage 3. love to hate me 4. how you like that 5. lovesick girls 6. you never know 7. ice cream 8. bet you wanna
lsg feels personal and emotional, i totally agree that it’s so different and that’s what I love about it. i love the chorus and the bridge is just *chef’s kiss* not to mention the rest of the album are full of good b-sides✨
i’ve seen a lot of people say pretty savage is their fav track, among the american friends that I’ve asked who listen to bp. i always thought you never know was the best track tho🙈 love to hate me is such a close 2nd
Same, every Blink and their grandma seem to love Pretty Savage the most and while I really like it too, it's not one of my favorite tracks on the album. My fave b-sides would be Love To Hate Me & You Never Know as well! But different people, differents tastes so :) All of their new songs slap!
@@raeesa826 The beat and lyrics are completely different. The pace of the songs, the meaning behind them, the chorus, the bridge, and the ending are all different. The only similar thing is the structute but they literally only have four members. Also that has nothing to do with my comment.
My ranking of the songs - 8. crazy over you 7. how you like that 6. ice cream 5. pretty savage 4. bet you wanna 3. you never know 2. love to hate me 1. lovesick people rank love to hate me last? wow they have no taste
one of the only things that makes me so scared, it's that people are so usted to BP realeasing only one song per year, therefore i feel like LSG and Ice cream didn't match the same amount of views of HYLT, so i'm scared that yg is gonna continue to give them the same beat drop and formula for the next comebacks, because it's what gives them more views
the thing i absolutly LOVE about love to hate me is the pre chorus, rose and jisoos vocals are stunning. jennies voice also really shinned. tbh i love all the pre choruses on each song but love to hate me is my favourite
i think lovesick girls hits different because the members participated in the song. it almost made me cry tbh, lovesick girls felt nostalgic and cold. this comeback and album is their best for now, i love it so much and i’m so happy that they finally get to break all the stereotypes people say about them!
8- Ice Cream The beat going ------ the entire time kills the vibe. The chemistry between the Pinks and Selena saves the song. I honestly love how much Selena and the Pinks get along and promoted each other for this song. 7. HYLT It's your standard Blackpink song. I also dislike the beat of this song as it sounds like a loading screen for a video game. It's okay, but compared to the other songs on the album it's just a bit weaker. 6. Bet You Wanna Great collab! The suggestive yet PG lyrics are honestly my favorite part of it. I kind of feel like Cardi should've featured on Ice Cream and Selena should've featured on this. Rosé's high notes are honestly the highlight of the song! 5. You Never Know Perfect song. Just perfect. It's not super my taste in terms of genre, however, so it's smack dab in the middle for me. 4. Crazy Over You I love the structure, the beat, and how experimental it is. The lyrics aren't that great, and Lisa's accent during her verses reminds me of Iggy Azalea, so that puts it out if the top 3 for me. 3. Lovesick Girls I love the song the more that I listen to it. It's so different from everything they've done, and Rosé and Jisoo's bridge is the best bridge in Kpop. 2. Love to Hate Me This song is the biggest flex of their careers, and I'm so here for it! This song is so catchy and such an anthem! 1. Pretty Savage This song is everything that I wanted HYLT to be and more. Everyone stands out, Jisoo's says "Blackpink in your area" (the most baddest variation of it yet I might add), Jennie and Lisa's raps, Jisoo's rap, Rosé's bridge, ect. This is why Blackpink are looked at as the icons of girl crush in this gen! This is why fans keep coming back for more every era. This is why they have a dedicated hate-following that just can't get enough of keeping up with everything they do. Been on repeat since it dropped! 👌🏾
@Charlotte Kan It is! I'm just not into ballads, unfortunately. I literally can't find anything wrong with the song other than it's just a ballad, and that's just not personally my thing. 🤷🏾♀️
I agree with all of it. Ice Cream was honestly a mess for me... there was no chorus and I really didn’t understand the vibe they were going for. Not to mention the distribution was unfair... the only part I liked was the ‘Mona Lisa kind of Lisa,’ since it was very clever XD. It’s catchy but I wouldn’t listen to it tbh... I think Sour Candy was much better (even tho it’s not on their album). It’s a shame because I honestly thought Selena’s voice blended so nicely with Blackpink’s. They could have done so much better. And HYLT I’m indifferent about to. It’s alright. To be honest, I had to listen to it a few times to like it. It’s kind of generic to me and similar to KTL and Dududu, but I did like the beat and chorus. I agree, compared to the other songs though it was weaker. Bet You Wanna same thing. I liked it, but I kind of didn’t like Cardi B’s addition. Idk I felt like it wasn’t necessary to have her rap? Like that wasn’t the song she should have done. I’m not really a Cardi fan tho so maybe I’m bias. I kind of wish Jennie rapped instead XD. But I still like the beat of the song and yes! Rosè’s high notes killed. I don’t even have a preference for the other songs because I honestly love them all equally. They did very well with the songs
The "like eee" in crazy over you for me was intentional to match the word crazy(eee). But crazy over you is a bop. It is an experimental song which makes it unique.
Exactlyyyyy it’s not like they was like Let’s add Jisoo to say eeeeee in the song for no reason there has to be a reason why Jisoo said that in the freaking song!
love to hate me is so overlooked. it makes me nostalgic in a way i can't really explain, but it's just so good and satisfying overall. i'd say that my favorites on the album would have to be love to hate me, pretty savage and lovesick girls. i don't have a definite one favorite off the album, but i will say that love to hate me is 100% in my top three.
[My Opinions] My ranking: 8¬Ice Cream: there are many things in this song that bothers me, from Moses being mentioned in this song to the cringy lyrics that is low key sexual while the girls looked like children in the MV. 7¬Bet You Wanna ft. Cardi B: Personally Cardi isn't someone I'm a big fan of and the song was good but eh, not as great as their other songs. I just put it above Ice Cream cause I could at least tell there was a chorus. 6¬How You Like That: It has the same exact copy of KTL and D4's structures. It had too many similarities. However it's better than the last 2 because they didn't have a feature. 5¬You Never Know: Is a great song but it's not my type of song, so that's why it isn't ranked higher but it's great. 4¬Lovesick Girls: It's beautiful~ I can't, and the fact that Jennie and Jisoo helped just showed how much potential they have in writing songs. It's just lower in the list because other songs are better. 3¬Pretty Savage: Honestly on first listen it instantly became my fave but other songs took that place, it has such a unique sound and it honestly would have been such a good track to be the pre-release instead of How You Like That. 2¬Crazy Over You: The beat and tune and rhythms are everything! I love the way it sound and it's addictive. But! Yes there's a but,, the lyrics were horrible. They sound cringy and written by children, whoever wrote them needs to get fired. Also that little rubber duck squeaking sound is annoying. Unfortunately though it's 2nd because it's addictive and I love the way how everyone shined especially Jisoo in the song. 1¬Love To Hate Me: STUNNING. It's amazing, beautiful, and sounds so satisfying. Everyone shined and the way their voices just went along with it made it a 100x better. Plus the lyrics in that song was the only one that made sense. Especially for Lisa, try and read all the lyrics of Lisa's raps in each song they are all so cringy until Love To Hate Me saved her. Lisa you deserve better. Anyways~ this is my opinions, don't bash me.
@@kaitlyn3452 So? It's this person's opinion, plus what if Christians is the majority of Korea's religious belief? I'm Christian and I dislike it and feel offended. If you don't then that's great but leave others be.
This album literally made me stan them as a musical group. Seriously, I never able to fully stan them cause I didn't really like their music, but out of the 8 tracks, 6 of them are honestly my favorite songs from them and yes, lsg is their best title track to date.
I actually like Crazy Over You ;_; And tbh like, BTS aren't known for being fluent in english, that's why it became huge that it was huge. Blackpink most ppl know that 3 of the members are completly fluent in english and the last one is getting there with time, so IMO it wouldn't be that much of a shock!
My ranking for the album songs is: 1. Lovesick girls 2.pretty savage 3.love to hate me 4.crazy over you 5. Bet you wanna. 6. You never know 7.how you like that 8. Ice cream
I was so happy when you put love to hate me first, I don't know why people aren't giving love to hate me and pretty savage the love and recognition they deserve
I think they show the scenes where the girls were sad/angry while Jennie sings"But we are still looking for love" , shows that even though they went through so much pain bc of love , they are still looking for it.
8. Love To Hate Me- i hate these kinds of songs, and i don’t really like the intro especially it just ruins it for me, and i wasn’t surprised david guetta made it, not a fan. 7 Ice Cream- I like this song, but it wasn’t THAT great, i just thought it could have an actual chorus, if it did have a chorus it would be really good- and i’m really happy they did a new concept, like they went from badass bitch to aegyo real fast 6 How you like that- i loved the song, the MV was amazing as usual, but it just felt like another KTL 5 Crazy Over You- Amazing, loved it, i just found the intro a bit cringe (i don’t have anything against south asian instruments or sounds, i’m south asian myself), but like the pre chorus which rosé sang was AMAZING, i freaking am obsessed with that 4. Pretty Savage- I love this song, i think it should have been the pre release single instead of how you like that 3.. Bet you wanna- I LOVE CARDI B AND BLACKPINK, AND THEM TOGETHER IS AMAZING, AND I LOVE THE VIBE I LOVE THE SONG, ITS YOUTHFUL NEW AND LITTTTTTT. 2. You never know- this side of blackpink is so underrated, there was such a nice meaning to it and it was deep and i loved it 1. Love sick girls- I LOVED, IT ITS THE MOST BLACKPINK SONG EVER CAUSE JISOO AND JENNIE MSDE IT, PLUS LIKE ITS MEW ITS FRESH, ITS CUTE BUT ITS STILL BLACKPINK AND THATS WHY I LOVEEEEE ITTTT. Also if i were to change some things Instead of HYLT it should have been LOVE SICK GIRLS and then You never know and then Bet you wanna
I think how you like that will always be incredibly nostalgic for me, even with how recent it is. I got into blackpink soon after Kill this love was released, quite unfortunate since I waited so long for new music. So when the MV dropped, I watched it for the entirety of the next 4 days. I still love the song, and every time I watch the MV the song for some reason sounds so new, like I've never heard it before. It's kinda difficult to explain.
My ranking! Least liked to most liked, although I love them all! 8 |:| HYLT - I really don't listen to it anymore because it got old, but I still always have it stuck in my head and any time that I end up hearing it, I can't help but do the dance. 7 |:| Ice Cream - The same as above. It was interesting to learn the dance considering the only dance practice we got was Zepeto- 6 |:| Bet You Wanna - This one was hard to place because I do love it, but I had to put it here because I'm not a huge fan of the autotune and the style of the song. Rosie's high notes? Highlight of the song. 5 |:| You Never Know - I love ballads! But... at the beginning it sounds kind of like something out of a Disney musical, which makes me like it a bit less. 4 |:| Pretty Savage - It feels kind of like HYLT but better. I do love the chorus though, especially Jisoo's "you better run run run". SHE SAID BLACKPINK IN YOUR AREA. TWICE. 3 |:| Lovesick Girls - It's overall a great song and strays away from their consistency in their title tracks. I am so glad we didn't get an empty chorus, and Rosie's outro was amazing. I've already learned the dance moves that we got from the music video and can't stop doing them. 2 |:| Crazy Over You - I don't understand why everyone hates this song so much. It's a bop and a half. I love the background vocals in the chorus drop. The chorus just makes me want to body roll for some reason. I do agree the "like e-e-e-e" is misplaced and confusing. 1 |:| Love To Hate Me |:| It's been stuck in my head since the day the album dropped. By far the best song on the album. The way that Rosie sings the chorus just melts my heart. I am in love with Lisa's "stupid" at the end of her rap. My bias is Rosie. Please don't attack me for my *opinion* as I'm sure you would hate to be attacked for yours as well :) This era reminds me of debut days when their sound wasn't the same thing over and over, and they had something new for each song. I feel like YG may be starting to get better. We got a lot of things we have been waiting for over the past 4 years. I'm so happy to see Jisoo getting fairer lines and screentime, Jennie being the main rapper she's supposed to be, and Rosie's being treated like a main vocalist. We still have yet to see if Lisa's dancing abilities are finally showcased properly, though, but I've got high hopes! This might be the longest comment I've ever written before. It's 3am. Send help.
Did you know Teddy didn,t produce How You Like That and ever since Light Up The Sky came out we found that they have more songs and there were other songs for THE ALBUM but didn,t fit the concept
This album revitalized Blackpink for one reason: they finally allowed the girls to write their own title track! This is the first Blackpink album that I have truly loved in quite a while, because you can feel the heart of the girls instead of watching them just being puppets controlled by their company. I’m so proud of them🥰
The bridge is the best part by far, especially Jisoo's part with the little high note, loved it. The album is also good, a bit disappointed they could not manage to release more than 8 song with all the time they got but I guess it will be for another time.
Lovesick girls gives me nostalgia.. anyone else? Whenever I listen to it I feel mixed emotions. I feel happy but sad at the same time. Honestly lovesick girls is my favorite song it’s amazing 😍
My rankings : 8. Ice cream: I feel like most of us can agree on this. I mean I want a chorus in a song- 7. Bet you wanna: don’t get me wrong this song is great but I don’t exactly like how it’s pretty much a classic love song. It sounds like basic pop (mainly cuz of Cardi B in it) but it felt like an ordinary song to me 6. How You Like That: Probably the most blackpink song, it gives off their vibes. I love it but the others are way too good- 5. Crazy over you: that eeee part didn’t go very well, it lacks something 4. Pretty Savage: I like this sing but I wish instead of talking about how much money they have they can talk about how big of a group they are. I mean literally any western artist has a song about money, even if they’re not that big. But blackpink is a very big group they could’ve used that fact instead 3. Love to hate me: honestly I think Lisa x Jisoo vocals are BOMB but something lacked in this song for me, I don’t like songs with really less words in the chorus 2. Lovesick girls: best title track ever by blackpink. I just felt like it was a better than the others because that was the only song I was motivated to hear for in the first few hours of its release (I’m not a blink but a lister who knows all their names lol) Also did anyone notice they replaced the guy with a girl in the mv 😂 1. You never know: I’m a sucker for ballads so I fell in love with this song. It also has a great meaning
my ranking of the album: 8. crazy over you ok when i first listened to it, i liked it, and i still do. it’s just that i like the other ones more ig, every song on this albums slaps. 7. bet you wanna at first it was kinda iffy, but i think it was a bit catchy. 6. ice cream i actually like this song, don’t kill me pls. 5. how you like that it was my fav bp song until the full album came out, the. it dropped. 4. pretty savage kinda hated it at first but now it slaps. probably hated it because it gives me clown music vibes 3. lovesick girls their best title track. this was there year 2. love to hate me at first it was my fav, but once i heard what i put at #1, it had to drop. i love the tune tho. i also don’t understand how people rank it so low. 1. you never know i was shook when i realized we were getting another slow song, and i loved it, +the lyrics are very meaningful. in conclusion, it’s my favorite release by them so far, #2 being square up 🙂
My raking is kinda weird but hey we all have different styles: 8-Bet you wanna (like the video said pretty repetitive and cardi B didn’t add that much. But the one positive point is: ROSE’S HIGH NOTES LIKE WTF) 7-ice cream (VERY PINK didn’t like it that much but has a catchy beat) 6-you never know (it’s a beautiful ballad that actually showcases their amazing vocals but i wouldn’t listen to it since it quite a melancholic song) 5-love to hate me (at first i really liked it and its a great track but after hearing it multiple times it kinda felt outdated) 4-how you like that (A BOP LITERALLY i’ve been addicted to that song until the album came, like can we talk about rose’s and jisoo’s bridge before the dance break and the dance break itself) 3-Pretty savage (one thing i have to say: jisoo turtle rabbit kim is happening and she’s coming for y’all) 2-Lovesick girls (an angelic bop created to bless all of the blinks) 1-Crazy over you (yes it’s the best track for me i really enjoyed the oriental/middle eastern kinda vibe of the song and it has quite strong lyrics. I didn’t like the “eee” part too but overall i loved it)
the music video & song reminds me of playing with fire's storyline and meaning, but stronger. also, my favorites on the album have to be you never know and pretty savage. ballads that follow the natural formula I dislike; I'm all for sentimental songs with actual styling though. (and that "imma shine baby" is everything to me)
My Ranking 1 Love to Hate Me- A certified BOP. I can play this anywhere, anytime, play this at my funeral for God's sake. 10/10 2 Crazy Over You- People are 50/50 on this song, but im on the other side, one of the best BlackPink songs ever. 9.5/10 3 You Never Know- Hands down BlackPink's best ballad and one of the best ballads in kpop, If I didnt stan BP I wouldnt have been this emotional, when Jennie sang the chorus, it gave me chills as knowing what she gone through. 9.3/10 4 Lovesick Girls- This is my 4th favorite title track, but overall we have the same opinion except that Jennie's rap was my favourite part of the song. 9/10 5 Pretty Savage- I honestly think this song is a bit overrated, I honestly don't get the people saying that this was supposed to be the title track, like it is a GREAT song and a GREAT BLACKPINK Song, just not as good as people make it seem. 8.5/10 6 Bet you Wanna- this was extremely hard to put here because I adore this song, the only thing I dont like is the repetitive "I bet you wanna's" in the song. 7/10 7 How you like that- It just aged badly to me, I loved it at first but i think of it as above average now, still a good song. 6.5/10 8 Ice Cream- I HATE THIS SONG. Hate is a strong word, but it is appropriate. 4/10
I WAS ALSO THINKING THE RAP FROM LOVE TO HATE ME SOUNDED LIKE SOMETHING FROM HAMILTON. It's honestly my most favorite rap from Lisa and maybe even my most favorite rap from BLACKPINK.
YES I AGREE THAT ARI SHOULDVE BEEN ON LOVE TO HATE ME!! when i first heard it all i could think about is aripink and how she would sound on it 😭 maybe in the future we'll get a remix or something !!
i love this whole comeback and era because it reminds me or pre debut blackpink. ik we weren’t necessarily with them during pre debut but i really just get those vibes, even with all of the songs on the track. ice cream could’ve been left out lol but the others are so good imo.
(MY OPINION) 7. Ice cream 6. How you like that 5. Crazy over you 4. Bet you wanna 3. Lovesick girls 2. Pretty savage 1. You never know + Love to hate me (THEY'RE HUGE BOPS, 2 of their best songs so far among every song they sung)
The mv trailer make me think so much about a mix between wake me up by Avicii and Shout out to my ex by Little Mix. However this title track really sound like the "Old" Blackpink and even if I don’t enjoy all the song I appreciate that
My theory is so simple about the mv. I think the song talks about break ups in general... Sometimes they are ugly and repetitive in our lives... But that's ok. Something being ugly doesn't mean is toxic. At the end, i think they are free because they accept themselves and the reality they live in. It's ok if your love life isn't all bright and colorful. Honestly, being a feminist myself, i'd rather listen to the ugly truth that "we were born to be alone but we're still looking for love" to "you're perfect, he's just a trash!" sh*t. Things are sad and we're all together in this.
And since I've just watched like 4 or 3 videos from you, and I rlly like how I agree with many things you say and I understand what you're trying to say about them and stuff I'll subscribe to you, unlike another video I watched saying they hated the choreography because it was "easy" and "basic".
my ranking ;) 8. You never know; don’t get me wrong, I love the song and it’s a bop, but it’s too heavy hearted to play a lot without getting myself. Howeva as a jisoo bias WE GOT LINESSSSSSSSSS 7. how you like that; on my first listen I liked it up until the look at you now look at me bit which I felt was kinda outta place. don’t get me wrong, it’s still a great song and lisa’s rap was>>> but I played it too much and got sick of it 6. ice cream; I lowkey loved it tbh, and ice cream cHILLIN CHILLIN ice cream cHEALINNNNg, but where are jisoo and rosé’s lines? I didn’t rlly mind the lyrics but hello??? 5. Bet you wanna; a good song, but all the other songs above are superior, also the BET YOU WANNA got kinda repetitive 4. Crazy over you; why do people hate it??? it’s such a bop bro, the best drop was a mood, and idk why but the background music gave me an aesthetic sorta 3. Lovesick girls; loved the song tbh, the full chorus and line distribution, jenlisa rapping, the mv KSKDJDJS I WAS CRYING ITS AWESOME 1. love to hate me/ pretty savage I CANT BRO THEYRE SUCH BOPS pretty savage,,, rRRRRRRRR B L A C K P I N K IN UR A R E A and love to hate me; ohmygodsteponme
Crazy over you is my favourite song of "The Album". Its has more clear beat than HWLT and its a trap bit with Lisa and Jennie rapping. It is under rated.
at first, i thought lovesick girls was underwhelming and i really didn't listen to it much😕‼️ the only bp songs i listened to this year was pretty savage and crazy over you....
My ranking (if somebody Care probably not) 8.Ice cream 7.Crazy over you 6.Bet you wanna ft Cardi B 5.Pretty Savage 4.How you like that 3.Lovesick girls 2.You never know(i like these types of songs) 1.Love to hate me
Lovesick girls is just totally kpop perfection song. . . Just like aiiyl , I just freaking love the Synth pop sound from this song and it was a perfect song for the final track
My rating for the album: 8. Ice cream - Liked it at first but got bored of it quickly but selpink was the best collaboration in terms of friendship 7. How you like that - It’s a good song but not one that I can listen to regularly 6. Bet you wanna - Loved this so much! It surprised me since I thought it would be a girl crush track but it was really nice/fun 5. Crazy over you - it was a unique song something I didn’t think BP would do so I enjoyed it (the like eee was so iconic tho) 4. Pretty savage - This was gold! It was pretty savage (pun intended as well lol) BP slayed this song I really hope it gets a MV 3. You never know - Jisoo’s vocals shined so much in this and I generally love when BP does ballads/emotional songs 2. Love to hate me - Best b-side from them it’s such a catchy song. A complete bop 1. Lovesick girls - Imo best BP title track. Such a nostalgic vibe to the song, the highlights of the song for me is ChaeSoo’s bridge and The ending part
my ranking would be 1. You'll Never Know :: it's emotional and I love ballads. I also love the full chorus. Everyone just shines in the song. Jisoo started the song. Rosé and Jennie's parts both hit the feels and Lisa still slays her part. 2. Love to Hate Me :: this is something you could jam with and still has the same emotional effect as You'll Never Know 3.5 Pretty Savage :: I didnt fall in love with it at first listen but it grew on me. I, of course, love how Jisoo finally gets to say Blackpink in your Area 3.5 Lovesick Girls :: I became a blink in AIIYL era and Stay used to be my favorite Blackpink song. The fact that I can get the best of both from LSG while still getting something new made me fall for it. 5. Crazy Over You :: I like listening to this with 1.25x speed lol I just feel like the song was slow and it's the only thing i dont like about it. Also, I feel like this kind of song is something I'd expect a SelenaxBlackpink collab would be like. 6. How You Like That :: I still sing and dance along when I hear it but it's not something i'd put on my playlist as it really gets boring after a while. I was also disappointed on my first listen on this. 7. Bet You Wanna :: I can listen to this as well, like HYLT but I put this lower because it does get repetitive with "bet you wanna". Plus, Lisa gets so little lines. I also am not a fan of the rap lyrics. 8. Ice Cream :: I cannot measure and stress how disappointed I am with this collab. I'm a selenator and a blink. I know the potential of both artists, especially lyrically. the only thing that turns it into an earworm is the repetitive "ice cream chillin'" phrase and how good Rosé sings "looks so good". But even Bet You Wanna is catchier than this one. I just keep saying it but this song is a wasted opportunity. It tried going to a different direction than the usual style of both Selena and Blackpink and i was genuinely excited only to be disappointed. oh and also it was pretty much the same all throughout the song. it sounds like something you would play just for the sake of having sounds but you wouldnt really listen to it.
I actually didn't liked CRAZY OVER YOU at first but that ' I went crazy over you' from jennie is stuck in my head over and over again. Also, with Bet You Wanna I kinda didn't like it at first too. But the vocal parts are ssoooooOoo good. What I hate about it the most was the 'betyouwanna' part which is kinda annoying for me. My favorite Songs in THE ALBUM were Love To Hate Me, Love Sick Girls, and You Never Know. I like ballad songs more so that's why I like You Never Know, also the meaning behind it was so good. LoveSick Girls, is just a bop, no explanation needed. Love To Hate Me, even tho I love ballad songs more, this is the best song in THE ALBUM for me. This song is just a bop. This a HIGGGGHHLYYY RECOMMENDED song. This just got me. P.S. don't attack me for this. This is my opinion so go and make your own opinion if you don't like my opinion. P.P.S. actually, I'm not a blink. I just really like BLACKPINK's songs. And I admire them.
i honestly liked lovesick girls a lot, i feel like little mix have a bunch of the same type of music, but still, blackpink singing it feels much more refreshing. the album itself was a bit disappointing, but because lovesick girl deserved better. i don’t think the album have a proper concept to explore and one more time they’re just doing the “we are blackpink” concept, but pretty savage is so good omg, in the middle of the night i still listen to rosé’s “we some yepujanan savage” with her hysterical voice 🥰
My ranking of the songs: #8-How You Like That I just placed it last because I'm tired of this type of song, but it's not far from #7 #7-Ice Cream #6-You Never Know Pretty good but I'm not a ballad person so I won't be listening to it much. #5-Crazy Over You I haven't listen to this one as much but I like the prechorus and the instrumental in the opening. #4-Bet You Wanna I love the prechorus for this one. #3-Lovesick Girls #2-Love To Hate Me This one and #1 are pretry close tbh, I love both songs a lot. #1-Pretty Savage

After they all be happier together in the after life.
ooo wow the MV is way more meaningful than i thought!
The guy was cheating on all of them , He already played Jisoo's heart , that's why the guy wasn't with Jisoo through out the M/V.
She knows what he is up to , that's why she runs to save all the girls , other than that I agree.
@Black Pink Butterfly how abt I copy paste it? Just kidding , but it will be a good idea.
Woah didn’t know the MV was so deep
@@chu1880 at first I was just bouncing to the song , like I do with every single one , and then focus on the actual M/V.
And the M/V was so deep and meaningful😭
i feel like what this M/V sets apart, is that it actually has a story line. i don't remember, but a fan pointed it out: that the end is paraside while the girls committed su*cide because of a break up. (jisoo water scene, rosé bathtub, etc...).
Yeh I saw that too
I think its the stay song

Y’all guys should stop locking Jennie in the fast rap box. Yes her fast delivery is insane but D4 is literally her only fast flow. She switches up everytime so don’t expect her to have the same flow over and over. Also a cut throat rap would’ve sounded out of place for LSG. As for the lyrics her verse is all wordplay so I’m hella impressed.
Her rap verse is one of my favourite of the song. If she did a fast one yes it shows her talent but it would’ve ruined the song.
Honestly I love the rap it's so damn savage and meaningful in Jennie's situation

The only thing I don't like about LSG is the MV thumbnail, I think they could've used a better one but I'm happy that their first full album thumbnail includes all 4 members.

one of the only things that makes me so scared, it's that people are so usted to BP realeasing only one song per year, therefore i feel like LSG and Ice cream didn't match the same amount of views of HYLT, so i'm scared that yg is gonna continue to give them the same beat drop and formula for the next comebacks, because it's what gives them more views
My opinion on the album
LSG is in my top 3 Blackpink best title track. Yep Love to hate me is the best song in the album period.
the thing i absolutly LOVE about love to hate me is the pre chorus, rose and jisoos vocals are stunning. jennies voice also really shinned. tbh i love all the pre choruses on each song but love to hate me is my favourite
Lovesick girls is my favorite bp single since AIIYL...
People also need to acknowledge that JENNIE participated in PRODUCING the TT too, people only remember that she helped write the lyrics
literally a no-skip album
i think lovesick girls hits different because the members participated in the song.
it almost made me cry tbh, lovesick girls felt nostalgic and cold.
this comeback and album is their best for now, i love it so much and i’m so happy that they finally get to break all the stereotypes people say about them!
8- Ice Cream
The beat going ------ the entire time kills the vibe. The chemistry between the Pinks and Selena saves the song. I honestly love how much Selena and the Pinks get along and promoted each other for this song.
7. HYLT
It's your standard Blackpink song. I also dislike the beat of this song as it sounds like a loading screen for a video game. It's okay, but compared to the other songs on the album it's just a bit weaker.
6. Bet You Wanna
Great collab! The suggestive yet PG lyrics are honestly my favorite part of it. I kind of feel like Cardi should've featured on Ice Cream and Selena should've featured on this. Rosé's high notes are honestly the highlight of the song!
5. You Never Know
Perfect song. Just perfect. It's not super my taste in terms of genre, however, so it's smack dab in the middle for me.
4. Crazy Over You
I love the structure, the beat, and how experimental it is. The lyrics aren't that great, and Lisa's accent during her verses reminds me of Iggy Azalea, so that puts it out if the top 3 for me.
3. Lovesick Girls
I love the song the more that I listen to it. It's so different from everything they've done, and Rosé and Jisoo's bridge is the best bridge in Kpop.
2. Love to Hate Me
This song is the biggest flex of their careers, and I'm so here for it! This song is so catchy and such an anthem!
1. Pretty Savage
This song is everything that I wanted HYLT to be and more.
Exactlyyyyy it’s not like they was like
Let’s add Jisoo to say eeeeee in the song for no reason there has to be a reason why Jisoo said that in the freaking song!
love to hate me is so overlooked. it makes me nostalgic in a way i can't really explain, but it's just so good and satisfying overall. i'd say that my favorites on the album would have to be love to hate me, pretty savage and lovesick girls. i don't have a definite one favorite off the album, but i will say that love to hate me is 100% in my top three.

[My Opinions]
My ranking:
8¬Ice Cream: there are many things in this song that bothers me, from Moses being mentioned in this song to the cringy lyrics that is low key sexual while the girls looked like children in the MV.
Lisa co-wrote her rap part in LTHM

I was so happy when you put love to hate me first, I don't know why people aren't giving love to hate me and pretty savage the love and recognition they deserve
I think they show the scenes where the girls were sad/angry while Jennie sings"But we are still looking for love" , shows that even though they went through so much pain bc of love , they are still looking for it.
8. Love To Hate Me- i hate these kinds of songs, and i don’t really like the intro especially it just ruins it for me, and i wasn’t surprised david guetta made it, not a fan.
7 Ice Cream- I like this song, but it wasn’t THAT great, i just thought it could have an actual chorus, if it did have a chorus it would be really good- and i’m really happy they did a new concept, like they went from badass bitch to aegyo real fast
6 How you like that- i loved the song, the MV was amazing as usual, but it just felt like another KTL
5 Crazy Over You- Amazing, loved it, i just found the intro a bit cringe (i don’t have anything against south asian instruments or sounds, i’m south asian myself), but like the pre chorus which rosé sang was AMAZING, i freaking am obsessed with that
4. Pretty Savage- I love this song, i think it should have been the pre release single instead of how you like that
3.. Bet you wanna- I LOVE CARDI B AND BLACKPINK, AND THEM TOGETHER IS AMAZING, AND I LOVE THE VIBE I LOVE THE SONG, ITS YOUTHFUL NEW AND LITTTTTTT.
2. You never know- this side of blackpink is so underrated, there was such a nice meaning to it and it was deep and i loved it
1. Love sick girls- I LOVED, IT ITS THE MOST BLACKPINK SONG EVER CAUSE JISOO AND JENNIE MSDE IT, PLUS LIKE ITS MEW ITS FRESH, ITS CUTE BUT ITS STILL BLACKPINK AND THATS WHY I LOVEEEEE ITTTT.
Also if i were to change some things
Instead of HYLT it should have been LOVE SICK GIRLS and then You never know and then Bet you wanna
Will you do Bp era tier list?
It was interesting to learn the dance considering the only dance practice we got was Zepeto-
6 |:| Bet You Wanna - This one was hard to place because I do love it, but I had to put it here because I'm not a huge fan of the autotune and the style of the song.
Please don't attack me for my *opinion* as I'm sure you would hate to be attacked for yours as well :)
This era reminds me of debut days when their sound wasn't the same thing over and over, and they had something new for each song.

My rankings :
8. Ice cream: I feel like most of us can agree on this. I mean I want a chorus in a song-
7. Bet you wanna: don’t get me wrong this song is great but I don’t exactly like how it’s pretty much a classic love song. It sounds like basic pop (mainly cuz of Cardi B in it) but it felt like an ordinary song to me
6. How You Like That: Probably the most blackpink song, it gives off their vibes. I love it but the others are way too good-
5. Crazy over you: that eeee part didn’t go very well, it lacks something
4. Pretty Savage: I like this sing but I wish instead of talking about how much money they have they can talk about how big of a group they are. I mean literally any western artist has a song about money, even if they’re not that big. But blackpink is a very big group they could’ve used that fact instead
3. Love to hate me: honestly I think Lisa x Jisoo vocals are BOMB but something lacked in this song for me, I don’t like songs with really less words in the chorus
2. Lovesick girls: best title track ever by blackpink. I just felt like it was a better than the others because that was the only song I was motivated to hear for in the first few hours of its release (I’m not a blink but a lister who knows all their names lol)

8-Bet you wanna (like the video said pretty repetitive and cardi B didn’t add that much. But the one positive point is: ROSE’S HIGH NOTES LIKE WTF)
7-ice cream (VERY PINK didn’t like it that much but has a catchy beat)
6-you never know (it’s a beautiful ballad that actually showcases their amazing vocals but i wouldn’t listen to it since it quite a melancholic song)
5-love to hate me (at first i really liked it and its a great track but after hearing it multiple times it kinda felt outdated)
4-how you like that (A BOP LITERALLY i’ve been addicted to that song until the album came, like can we talk about rose’s and jisoo’s bridge before the dance break and the dance break itself)
3-Pretty savage (one thing i have to say: jisoo turtle rabbit kim is happening and she’s coming for y’all)
2-Lovesick girls (an angelic bop created to bless all of the blinks)
1-Crazy over you (yes it’s the best track for me i really enjoyed the oriental/middle eastern kinda vibe of the song and it has quite strong lyrics.
(and that "imma shine baby" is everything to me)
My Ranking
1 Love to Hate Me- A certified BOP. I can play this anywhere, anytime, play this at my funeral for God's sake. 10/10
2 Crazy Over You- People are 50/50 on this song, but im on the other side, one of the best BlackPink songs ever. 9.5/10
3 You Never Know- Hands down BlackPink's best ballad and one of the best ballads in kpop, If I didnt stan BP I wouldnt have been this emotional, when Jennie sang the chorus, it gave me chills as knowing what she gone through. 9.3/10
4 Lovesick Girls- This is my 4th favorite title track, but overall we have the same opinion except that Jennie's rap was my favourite part of the song. 9/10
5 Pretty Savage- I honestly think this song is a bit overrated, I honestly don't get the people saying that this was supposed to be the title track, like it is a GREAT song and a GREAT BLACKPINK Song, just not as good as people make it seem. 8.5/10
6 Bet you Wanna- this was extremely hard to put here because I adore this song, the only thing I dont like is the repetitive "I bet you wanna's" in the song. 7/10
7 How you like that- It just aged badly to me, I loved it at first but i think of it as above average now, still a good song. 6.5/10
8 Ice Cream- I HATE THIS SONG. Hate is a strong word, but it is appropriate. 4/10
I WAS ALSO THINKING THE RAP FROM LOVE TO HATE ME SOUNDED LIKE SOMETHING FROM HAMILTON. It's honestly my most favorite rap from Lisa and maybe even my most favorite rap from BLACKPINK.
yeah too my favourite is hate to love me its amazing i dont know why others put it last
i'm just shookt in this album we get everything we wanted
YES I AGREE THAT ARI SHOULDVE BEEN ON LOVE TO HATE ME!! when i first heard it all i could think about is aripink and how she would sound on it 😭 maybe in the future we'll get a remix or something !!
I respect your opinion for COY but it made me sad because it's my favorite song, and also how you said your opinion was hard to hear haha
i love this whole comeback and era because it reminds me or pre debut blackpink. ik we weren’t necessarily with them during pre debut but i really just get those vibes, even with all of the songs on the track. ice cream could’ve been left out lol but the others are so good imo.
This really is their best title track
(MY OPINION)
7. Ice cream
6. How you like that
5. Crazy over you
4. Bet you wanna
3. Lovesick girls
2. Pretty savage
Things are sad and we're all together in this.
u did a pretty good job of reviewing lovesick girls. that was a revelation to me. thank u so much.
love to hate me, ok
When you said if you pick a b-side they'll perform in music shows and said it's pretty savage. Wow you got right!
And since I've just watched like 4 or 3 videos from you, and I rlly like how I agree with many things you say and I understand what you're trying to say about them and stuff I'll subscribe to you, unlike another video I watched saying they hated the choreography because it was "easy" and "basic".
my ranking ;)
8. You never know; don’t get me wrong, I love the song and it’s a bop, but it’s too heavy hearted to play a lot without getting myself. Howeva as a jisoo bias WE GOT LINESSSSSSSSSS
7. how you like that; on my first listen I liked it up until the look at you now look at me bit which I felt was kinda outta place. don’t get me wrong, it’s still a great song and lisa’s rap was>>> but I played it too much and got sick of it
6. ice cream; I lowkey loved it tbh, and ice cream cHILLIN CHILLIN ice cream cHEALINNNNg, but where are jisoo and rosé’s lines? I didn’t rlly mind the lyrics but hello???
5. Bet you wanna; a good song, but all the other songs above are superior, also the BET YOU WANNA got kinda repetitive
4. Crazy over you; why do people hate it??? it’s such a bop bro, the best drop was a mood, and idk why but the background music gave me an aesthetic sorta
3. Lovesick girls; loved the song tbh, the full chorus and line distribution, jenlisa rapping, the mv KSKDJDJS I WAS CRYING ITS AWESOME
1. love to hate me/ pretty savage
I CANT BRO THEYRE SUCH BOPS
pretty savage,,, rRRRRRRRR
B L A C K P I N K IN UR A R E A
and love to hate me; ohmygodsteponme
Crazy over you is my favourite song of "The Album". Its has more clear beat than HWLT and its a trap bit with Lisa and Jennie rapping. It is under rated.
i thought COY was the best song of the album and i'm so suprised some people put it last!??!!
For me:
8. Crazy over you
7. Bet you wanna
6. Ice cream
5. How you like that
4. You never know
3. Love sick girls
2 . Pretty savage
1. Love to hate me
at first, i thought lovesick girls was underwhelming and i really didn't listen to it much😕‼️
the only bp songs i listened to this year was pretty savage and crazy over you....
istg if blackpink didn’t win the Artist of the Year award, with all of these contents we’re getting. it’s fckn rigged!
U know bts actually made goals no hate btw so if they dont win it's not rigged
@@vvtucxdf well atleast for a girl group.. blackpink should win
@@lalalalalisa8672 ok I guess
YESS!! BP have done SO MUCH this year 2020 and if they dont get at least ONE MF DAESANG, IM HUNTING THOSE AWARD SHOWS!!
@@alohamydudes8467 count me in!!
Crazy over you is experimental song that put in the album😚😚😚
I remember when you only had 3 subscribers, I feel like proud mother 😭🙏🏻
My ranking (if somebody Care probably not)
8.Ice cream
7.Crazy over you
6.Bet you wanna ft Cardi B
5.Pretty Savage
4.How you like that
3.Lovesick girls
2.You never know(i like these types of songs)
1.Love to hate me
omg I thought I was the only one that thought that lovesick girls was like a mix of as if it's your last and stay
Crazy over you was the best song
Lovesick girls is just totally kpop perfection song. . . Just like aiiyl , I just freaking love the Synth pop sound from this song and it was a perfect song for the final track
I really wanna add Rosé's acting in the MV. To me, she stood out the most in MV. Her scenes and voice made me wanna cry.
My rating for the album:
8. Ice cream - Liked it at first but got bored of it quickly but selpink was the best collaboration in terms of friendship
7. How you like that - It’s a good song but not one that I can listen to regularly
6. Bet you wanna - Loved this so much! It surprised me since I thought it would be a girl crush track but it was really nice/fun
5. Crazy over you - it was a unique song something I didn’t think BP would do so I enjoyed it (the like eee was so iconic tho)
4. Pretty savage - This was gold! It was pretty savage (pun intended as well lol) BP slayed this song I really hope it gets a MV
3. You never know - Jisoo’s vocals shined so much in this and I generally love when BP does ballads/emotional songs
2. Love to hate me - Best b-side from them it’s such a catchy song. A complete bop
1. Lovesick girls - Imo best BP title track. Such a nostalgic vibe to the song, the highlights of the song for me is ChaeSoo’s bridge and The ending part
I wasn't a fan of the rap segment either but its not bad either. That part reminds me of Die Young for some reason.
my ranking would be
1. You'll Never Know :: it's emotional and I love ballads. I also love the full chorus. Everyone just shines in the song. Jisoo started the song. Rosé and Jennie's parts both hit the feels and Lisa still slays her part.
2. Love to Hate Me :: this is something you could jam with and still has the same emotional effect as You'll Never Know
3.5 Pretty Savage :: I didnt fall in love with it at first listen but it grew on me. I, of course, love how Jisoo finally gets to say Blackpink in your Area
3.5 Lovesick Girls :: I became a blink in AIIYL era and Stay used to be my favorite Blackpink song.
9:29 can somebody tell me what they meant? What did Card B do?? Please, I really have no clue
th-cam.com/video/i85OpuTZYpo/w-d-xo.html
chile lisa's rap was bad ass 🤠
unrelated but i love ur channel
I think BP collabing with Cardi B is ruining their reputation
Lovesick Girls is one of Blackpinks most diverse and best title tracks and i will never forgive blinks for flopping it
i dont think blinks flopped it. maybe in views but like 70+ million isnt that bad. lovesick girls got 2 in billboard too.
Your the last comment
My ranking of the songs:
#8-How You Like That
I just placed it last because I'm tired of this type of song, but it's not far from #7
#7-Ice Cream
#6-You Never Know
Pretty good but I'm not a ballad person so I won't be listening to it much.
#5-Crazy Over You
I haven't listen to this one as much but I like the prechorus and the instrumental in the opening.
#4-Bet You Wanna
I love the prechorus for this one.
#3-Lovesick Girls
#2-Love To Hate Me
This one and #1 are pretry close tbh, I love both songs a lot.
