Thanks so much for going there! My grandfather was a miner and never knew much about it but you've given me a little hint. Maybe I'll go visit myself :-)
Wow that brought back some memories seeing those toys. The figures you did not recognise are the flumps. I used to love watching these in the 70’s (I think)when I was very young. 😁
I give it a 6 only because of the old toys that were there or it would have been lower. Seeing the toys brought up so many memories. I played atari too, who didn't back then do you remember frogger and pitfall? Those were a couple of my favorites and I had that record player too! SO much fun to go back in time. I hope all is well with you two I hear parts of the UK are supposed to get alot of snow this year.. good luck with that in the trampervan. Here in Canada in my town we have atleast five feet already. Eww! :/
I live in Cannock next to the chase, was very surprised to see your video here as I thought you guys were still in Scotland! Lots of cool history around here, if you're still around I can give a list of the best stuff near here to visit! :D
This was fun, just because you went there. It is hilarious to see you both having a look and ramble through it. The things you both get up to and say just slay me down to the ground, and I laugh so hard I can't stop. I think you could make a museum of dry soap interesting. LOL Good call on the harmonica reed Dan and hilarious crawl through the tunnel Mazzy. You both have the perfect spirit of adventure. This was such a hoot! Have a great day in the snow and stay warm.
A bodger was a tool to push into the dynamite to insert the detonator. Also can't believe you came to Cannock, we are 2 minutes away from the museum lol
Sorry I haven't wished you both well in a few days! Battling an infected tooth :( seems to be on the mend :) GREAT DAY TO YOU TWO! Thank you as always for sharing AND I'll be sharing a few vids on my Facebook as a way of making up for my missed comments :)
Wow atari and zx spectrum fantastic back in the day.. i remember waiting for the tape deck to load up the games and how i used to be able to copy my mates games on my dads double tape deck haha.. the days before anti piracy protection awesome!!
Fun Museum you guys checked out! 💙💙💙 looks very interesting. I actually would give it a 7 or an out of 10. Sorry Dan XD but cool video you 2 Keep up the good work and see ya in the next video ❤️👍❤️
I agree with you Dan about a 4 lol but you were there so why not,but for a fellow who's not into mining you sure have done your fair share of digging. Keep on Truckin
Hi Dan and Mazzy, you had two checks to go down the pit, one you handed to the cage operator when you went underground and the other was when you returned to the surface - so they could check that everyone who went down returned.🚐 👍 🇬🇧
Everyone needs a shoulder tit at some point ... I wounder if it replaced the canaries or if it was a very odd shaped miners helmet that occasionally flops onto the shoulder. I believe a bodger is something that goes around cleaning up after badgers antics haha
That def looks like a harmonica reed. So I think ur right Dan. U should have said something to them. Or at least asked them about it. I would’ve liked to hear what they had to say when u told them they r wrong lol
Hi mazzy & Dan 👋 great place that was interesting mazzy is so funny lm scared of clowns that one in the pleasure beach Blackpool was so creepy 😱l would give it a 7 😀
Why do cannock when you can do the staffordshire hoard its free. There is also silverdale mine for cheap and scrape the barrel with etruria museum or the tall house in stafford.
Least a mini is the right size for dan or a fiat 126 with a 3 foot mounting camera on the back so he can see to reverse definitely don’t give him the RV back then everyone’s safe
They must of thought the harmonica reed was a regimental "shoulder title' badge. Good vid but I though U were mean on the verdict at the end. Most of these small FREE museums are under staffed, under funded and rely on donations and goodwill to keep alive local history... so even if you think they're naff and boring they should at least get a few points for that !
@@TravelTrollsTV maybe you should have some sort of tick points system like a hotel inspector lol... a point if its free entry , a point if theres a souviner shop, toilets etc..or maybe im talking b@l$o(k$ ! just a thought ..keep up the good work !
I'd like to see a dog muck factory, I wouldn't want to smell it, but that is the great thing about TH-cam, it's not in smelly vision yet. Note- This comment is not to be taken seriously.
Mazzy you are such a joy! Thank you for giving me smiles!
Still cool seeing those old items and toys through the ages. 👍🏻
Thanks so much for going there! My grandfather was a miner and never knew much about it but you've given me a little hint. Maybe I'll go visit myself :-)
10/10 for Mazzy crawling into the hole then trying to get out asap as if there were monsters down there

I have a lot of videos to catch up on! I'll start here and work my way back
Spotted some Bayko buildings next to Meccano. Before your time Dan.

Have you ever been to Eden camp museum? If not and you get a chance then I’d definitely recommend it! Haven’t been for years but it was amazing!

Going through y'alls videos and doing lots of praying...
A lot of paranormal activity/odd occurrences around Cannock Chase in the past;you might want to look it up . Good luck!
A four!!!!!, I Trained there as a young miner and for the local community it's great for the kids to see the local heritage, where do you live lol?
My Cornish ancestors were miners. I think this is really interesting.
Another video that has not shown on my subs list and I have the bell enabled :(
This may have been answered but I’ll ask again. If you got an electrical device from the US. Do you have a transformer you can use to run the device?
yes.
Loved it!! I love museums although its been a while since I was in one. I also like to play with all the dress up stuff 👌😂🤗
Everyone needs a shoulder tit at some point ... I wounder if it replaced the canaries or if it was a very odd shaped miners helmet that occasionally flops onto the shoulder. I believe a bodger is something that goes around cleaning up after badgers antics haha
How can you not identify the 'Flumps'....!! watch it...they are on youtube...the one with the white wolly hat is best

I give it a five on the bacon scale!! but only for the good childhood memories :)

Hi D&M. Santa 🎅 been to my house 👍
Why don't some museums allow filming or photos? Stupid if ya ask me. Thanks for another great spot!
Dan & Mazzy, if you got time ,check out the worlds first mini van , the stout scarab on YT.

Miners cottage is no smaller than your travel van! Cosy

Some maths judo there. See what he scores it and adjust yours to make the average what you want. Genius.
It wasn't that bad Dan. I'd give it a 7-1 just because of the screaming kids...lol.
Did mazzi used to be a miner, or a mole in a previous life? lol
Me and daddy thought a Bodger was a travel Troll with Gorilla tape luv Megan aged 6
I'd like to see a dog muck factory, I wouldn't want to smell it, but that is the great thing about TH-cam, it's not in smelly vision yet. Note- This comment is not to be taken seriously.
