Love Sick is the sequel to Replay. They even include the replay choreography in the live performance.

Finally we've arrived to this masterpiece of an album I'm so happyyyy you absolutely need to see (even on your own if you can't here) the live stage for odd eye and the concert version of trigger (this one is usually safe) ps: love sick is the sequel of replay, even the choreo has elements of it. Jjong said “If ‘Replay’ was about confessing your feelings to the noona, then ‘Love Sick’ describes the relationship after going out with the same noona for seven years. The lyrics go ‘My heart still races whenever I look at you’… It’s the sequel to ‘Replay’." :) Weird side note: the way the light is hitting the poster on the right is making me see things I'm,,, why do I see an alien head sideways ??? I think I need to sleep more
Caitlyn i’m so glad that you’ve gotten to this album! This is such an incredible and impactful album! It really solidified so much of everything that they had been working towards for so long and building on the layers and layers that they had put into place for years. Both Odd Eye and Love Sick were written by Jonghyun. That’s why they got *that* vibe. 😅🔥 There were so many trends that were started from this album and from these two songs! Odd Eye is based on a caller that Jonghyun had on Blue Night who had heterochromia, he wrote about that condition in the way that the lyrics are, and they wore odd eyed contacts during live performances which set off a huge trend - even to today - of other groups doing that! Love Sick is a follow up to replay! It is the perspective of going from the younger guy who wasn’t taken seriously in Replay to now she doesn’t see him as a little brother anymore and has accepted him as her man in this song. 😍 The choreography for this song, when you get to the live stages, has a lot of the feel of Replay in it as well! Been screaming over this album react so much! I’m surprise someone in my house hasn’t come to check on me! 😅🥰 It’s so fun to see you have the exact reactions to things that we all did when it came out! 😂 Truly proves SHINee’s power! Off to watch part 2 now!

Odd eye, love sick, trigger, farewell my love.... Everyone of these live performances have a different vibe from each other ,their only common point is that these live performances are bomb 👌
I think symptoms and odd eye sit at the same table, they give me that unique vibe,also wow you really are so far in their discography its been so great seeing you go through all their albums (such a shame that copyright laws for japanese music are so strict tho, their japanese discography is of course amazing too)

I've been listening to this album a lot recently (I tend to just, rotate & binge different SHINee albums each week kdbdjsms), and ugh, it never gets old. Everyone's saying it, so yep, you 100000% need to the watch Odd Eye performance. That was the day I was reborn. All I'm gonna say is: Kibum. Good luck. Any of the live stages from this album are so good though. Love Sick is so sweet, and they sound beautiful when they sing it live. They really hit their stride, and found themselves with this era!

Also the trigger concert version is to die for 😍 Don't worry, once you're done with album listenings there is still TONS of content you can watch. There are soo many concert versions that are worth watching plus many many extra videos and content. Also almost every member has solo stuff to get into! I might be wrong here but I remember you saying that you actually haven't heard many of Taemins bsides, so I assume that you haven't heard most of his albums? If so I would suggest to do a journey to all their solo debut albums. They named them after each other after Jonghyun started this "trend" among them when he named his solo debut album "base" after Taemins "Ace". So that would be Ace - Bace - Face - Voice (we are still waiting for Minhos 😂)
once i am completely finished with their korean discography i am going to take a small break from albums and then dive right back in with their solo works. 😊 but yes, i have only heard taemin's title tracks aside from the last album he's released so i am actually really excited to do their solo albums.
