This was the best tutorial for the granny square that I’ve been able to find. I have watched dozens and this one was amazing!! I loved how you explained it while you did it and then did it quickly again. Thank you so much!!!!
I know everyone is complaining about the sound, but I can hear and it’s ASMR to listen to the movement of your yarn and hands. Peaceful to crochet with you
I fell in love with this pattern and started to make it about a month ago and finally finished it. Turned out amazing! Thank you so much for the video.
I like how you ended your rounds by going into the next chain as opposed to a slip stitch on the “chain three.” I agree that it made my work neater! Thanks for the tip.
I tried it! It was super easy. When you have someone to guide you, and when you follow the video to a T it comes out just exact! Im happy im a beginner, just learning and 27! I really enjoy this, as I am a homemaker. ♥️🥰
I love the green, cream, and white granny square blanket you made. The colours are so beautiful together. Thanks for the tutorial, and tip about where to place that 1st sl. st.
This is beautiful!!! I noticed you've not posted in the last 9 ms as of July '19. I pray you're well and hope to see you soon!! The videos you've posted so far are great! Love this one! Thank you for sharing! I love the tips to make our work more professional looking!! So helpful! I hate when I can see the joins! 🙄😒this is awesome thx! Oh, new sub by the way! 😃👍
I had my sound bar up to full volume and could barely hear you. The Sunburst granny square is a beautiful pattern. I’m sorry I couldn’t follow along with it.
Thank you! So..after row I turn it and rotate sides (I hope that makes sense) and it gives it a bit of dimension so there is not one good side .... I've been doing granny squares for years but this is my new favorite and yes, please turn up the volume. Thank you so much!!
Love this design and can’t wait yo get started! I love the thick ribbing that connects the squares but I can’t seem to find how to make one similar. Can you please explain how to do this one? I love the look of them spaced out by the higher stitch.
I Love this pattern and plan to do it! I can't hardly hear you at all. I have my volume all the way up and it's loud on other tutorials except this one. I have to wear earplugs in order to hear you. But watching it's okay don't need voice. Thank you for sharing.
I love this one, easy to make, but I did miss one step because the audio suddenly stopped, your hands got in the way and you described very little where to start each stitch, I figured it out and corrected in the second square, they look divine, thanks
Hi, I LOVE the granny square Afghan you show above.....could you please tell me what color green you used .....and how many of each I will need.....I am pretty new at this and I do not know how you arrange 3 different colors.....Thank You, Carol
Hi. I am sorry about the lat reply. I used the Caron Cakes green ball, I believe it's pistachio, and one ball was enough for my blanket. The other color is an off white, no brand I got it as mill ends at my local craft store.
Belinda Simon - earplugs sound was good. Wrong lost sound altogether last row of color. Before row was finished sound came back. LOL. I did learn what to do on the pattern.
Would Love to know the colors of the green yarns used in your video of the finished project! Green and the ivory/ cream granny squares are absolutely beautiful!
Amanda CROWN Ok, so connecting the grannies together, I think its an inside out single crochet. So with both grannies wrong side to wrong side (right sides facing outwards) then single crochet along to connect.
I have a question: Are you a thread crocheter as well? I hold my thread (and yarn) double wrapped on the left finger like I've seen you do. It's a habit from holding my thread crochet tension really tight. Pretty Afghan! I'd like to do it with sold colors like you have done. Thank you! New subscriber too 🙂
Hi, I have made a few things with thread, but learned to hold my yarn this way from my grandmother (we're originally from Europe) and she was a thread crocheter and knitter. :)
Thank you for letting me know. I did not even know this happened. I hope you can still follow the pattern and I'll make another video soon of this square. x
Beautiful I just wish I could hear you. Do you have a tutorial to make a circular baby blanket. Or can I just keep making this one to be a circle and how do I do the increases with those 3 stitch patterns? Tia
I'm sorry about the audio, it seems to have gone off for a minute or so. I will make another video soon.I will do a tutorial for a circular baby blanket in the future. Thanks for watching.x

Hi, It depends on the size of the blanket and yarn you're using. The best way to measure it is by making 4 squares and then using an existing blanket that would be your preferred size. You could use the 4 squares as a guide to the size you want to make, also depends on whether you want a square blanket vs rectangle
@@malavikaaravind7041 I prefer rectangles generally, but baby blankets are ok in squares. So if you want a square you could do 7 horizontally and 7 vertically, if you want a rectangle you'd do 7 horizontal and 9 vertical :) the thicker your yarn the bigger the square which would result in less number of squares needed for a blanket:) xx

How do I change colours like the green and white in the video?
Question...Is this the pattern on the McFly sofa in Back to the Future? My husband loves the movie and always points out the afghan.
