What a weird floor call, to chop the pot. They are supposed to shuffle that river card back in, let you make your action then deal a new river

@@normondhsueh5967 Yea the dealer dealt the river pretty fast tbh lol. Like right after my opponent put his whole stack in. I think the dealer thought he had less than $40 or something I dont really know.
Yes agreed. That probably should have been the right course of action, so I did get pretty lucky that the pot was chopped.

Personally I find using 9/11 in comparison to a poker hand in very poor taste.
I couldn’t agree more, and that’s the reason I came to the comments. I was thinking about it, and I’m wondering if age played a major role here. I found it incredibly tasteless, but I’m also 48, and I can guarantee just like you, I lived through this. I was wondering how it’s taught to kids that weren’t even born then, or just babies. I’m guessing this kid is in his early 20s, and his core audience- most likely similar in age- were indifferent about the comment. Food for thought!

There is no way an experienced floor would make that call. The right decision is to let you elect to call (or fold lol) then deal a new river. So you got very lucky probably to get any money. 😊
Yea that's true too. Just sucks to know that I would have won that pot because there was no way I was folding for that cheap of a price, but it definitely would have a been a lucky win because I was behind. Oh well, onto the next.
@@PocketMs I once shoved for $208 over a $200 bet. $8 more. I had middle set. a104. Dealer put out turn and river. Realized I had $8 more. Calls floor over. Player has 88. Gets a new turn and river. Hits runner runner to make a flush.

Morongo is some of the softest games in California. Play the 2/5 if you are any sort of decent you will run up stacks.
Yup I’ve played some 5/5 before. But trying to build up the bankroll to consistently move up to 5/5. There’s definitely way more money to be made in the 2/5 or 5/5

I've been playing at Morongo for over 20 years I play the 2 5 game the 1 3 is filled with absolute recreational fishes as you discovered I havnt run as good as you did for 3 months enjoy it because when it gets dark and you can barely win any hands some nights you'll look back and realize you took some of these wins for granted.. you ran super hot it first why would you tilt because you got a little bit cold that's part of Poker wait till you go a couple of weeks where you are card dead it can happen and then when you finally make a hand you get sucked out on...I know all the floor people there I have no idea why they didn't put that King back in the deck which is the norm And reshuffle.. also if you want more views put your girlfriend in the vlog😂..
