Its awesome how Jin switches movesets throughout the fight. First he starts off with his standard moveset, then moves into Heihachi's moveset, then into Kazuya's, then finally into Jun's.
No it's actually him going back to his original moveset in tekken 3 this final battle has jin cycling through his movesets like how the games have changed him. It wouldn't make sense to have him have his complete moveset from 3 after Heihachi if it was meant to be a mix of Kazuya and Jun if he directly uses Jun's Kazama style for his last moveset to cycle through.

Well it's the quick time events giving you boosts/opponent damage, but it's also Kazuya doesn't really have anything to fight for. The whole fight is him really not having any desire to actually kill Jin, he doesn't have the bloodlust and intent to kill him the way he did against Heihachi. The way he war cries with the final punch against Jin it sounds more like desperately wanting the fight to be over, compared to the enraged roar he does when death blowing Heihachi. Jin actually had the motivation to stop and even kill Kaz if he has to, because he's doing whatever it takes to live and to protect his friends. If you decline all his quick time events, you don't get the montage of everybody hyping up Jin, so he doesn't have that resolve and dies during the exchange with Kazuya. Kazuya is arguably the strongest Mishima but is constantly held back by his own internal struggles, Jin always has full conviction in his final fights. He's totally committed to killing Ogre, totally committed to beating down and killing Heihachi and Kazuya until Jun stops him, is committed to conjuring up and killing Azazel, and regains his conviction here. Kaz constantly has whatever dilemma going on in T2 with Devil and Jun, T4 he's coming out of retirement and has weak devil powers he hasn't figured out how to control, T7 he masters devil power more and more and kills Heihachi, when he peaks in T8 he has no issues until they both burn off their devil powers and he no longer has the devil's influence or hatred for Heihachi to propel him forward.

The End of our era of Tekken. Finally I can rest. It's been years since playing Tekken in the Playstation when coming out in the 90s. Today, it was amazing 👏 🙌.
Jin reminds Kazuya of Jun, it's actually been revealed that in Tekken 2, Jun managed to change Kazuya and they had Jin and were happy, it all changed when Heihachi and Kazuya had to fight and Heihachi threw Kazyua into an inactive volcano, where Kazuya was captured and experimented on for 20 years and Jun had to look after Jin by herself.
