      same thing happened too me....i just kept going down as far is comfortable could with heavy wait until i eventually could go full depth

      That's not surprising. Squatting is a very technical movement, so by doing it a lot you'll get a better performance.

    This is so motivational, currently 16 (138 lbs) and my squats around 260. Going to try to get 405 by next summer. This quarantine is setting me back but I'm going hard after this is over

      @@tjcogger1974 i almost did but then i injured my back and knee so i stopped working out :((( my advice don‘t go too hard in the gym or else it will backfire

      @@jonasobletter I would agree. I hurt my back doing dead lifts before COVID and stopped doing them only cause I can do other things to compliment them like rdls and bent over rows. I still get the benefits of a dead lifts.

    Nice weight progression. Horror show form early on (don't do that at home kids!) with knees driving inwards on the concentric, and some shifting of load between legs and back when struggling, and quarter reps - but credit to you, you cleaned up your form a lot as it got heavier.

    Hit 225 squat a little while ago and then shortly after squatted my 235 lbs friend. 8 months ago my max squat was 95 lbs for 3 reps to absolute failure. This video gives me hope that i can put up some good numbers in another year.

    Wow man, that is some pretty insane progress. I am 14 and my 1rm on squat is sitting in the mid 300s rn. 6 months ago, I struggled with 250.

      @@damarcuz1 I found out I wasn't going deep enough. So I went lighter and worked my way back up. Currently doing 200x8 with proper depth, and 250 is my max.
      Got my deadlift to 300 and bench to 200

    Anything above 405, gets harder to attain. Ive paused 425 and only recently hit 455. But since then ive been unable to hit 455 again. Restarted my program with 345×5x5, then 365x3x5 and about to hit 405x1x8. Then restart with 345x8x5, 365x5x3, and 405x2x5. Gonna see how it goes

    I squatted 315 my senior year of high school. Just hockey really. Im doing 5x6 205 lbs.
    I am struggling with tight hips. Real bad. It’s either internal or external rotators. I can’t wait To’ these hips are broken up
    I’m taking 30-40 min each day to stretch. Sauna before! Usually toss a knee out and extend leg away (reverse pretzel/school style). So Im guessing that’s external rotator.
    Damn sitting in carriages!!!!!

    I’m 16, I hit 305 in August but I’m maxing out tomorrow and I’m hoping i hit 345
    Edit: I ended up hitting 335. But 3 months later I hit 405 hoping to hit 445 in June
