I hate drafts. Whenever I fill in all my item specifics and save the listing as a draft, eBay takes it upon themselves to add item specifics. For instance if something has “sealed” in the title, it will change the artist in item specifics to SEAL. So you have to go back in and re-edit the item specifics before listing.

Hi Dave, tech is a beast and he's definitely right on listing daily. The way I look at it, I think of ebay as a shopping mall. When you're at the mall there are stores which always have the same crap displayed. You walk in once you see it next time you walk by because you're seeing the same stuff and before you know it you're not even looking at it anymore. Then you have those stores that you always walk into whether you're buying or not because they have fresh new inventory they're displaying. They change up their window dressings. We need to treat eBay the same way just because it's an online store you cannot get stuck in the mentality of I'll list it forget it and it'll sell. Your store will just become stale and people won't be looking at it anymore.
Dave, for all your “flaws “ you are clearly a great sourcer and a successful reseller. If you can incorporate some of his good ideas and that of other people who care about you and want you to succeed, you could improve what you are already really good at. Nothing wrong with that. Tech seems like a great guy with a philosophy that there is room in this for all of us to succeed. He isn’t gatekeeping . On the idea of niching down - you can at least eliminate buying things that you hate to list or ship. Do you know anything that gives you that feeling of dread like a Monday morning?
The reason for listing everyday is your items get a bump when renewed every 30 days. If you list 15 items a day after 30 days everyday you have listing getting a little renew bump. If you get list 15 one day nothing for 4 days then list 30, next month you wil say "We why do i have high days and low days?" Listing quality items daily, while not perfect, is the best way to get consistent sales.
Starting watching tech after I found Mel, back from burnout. She always talked about him and her interview with him on her channel was great. But yeah i know what you mean. Hes great at motivating but also can be overwhelming.
I adore Mel. If we were all Mel's, this world would be a better place. Tech IS overwhelming but all of it seems to come from someone who wants to see us all do well (in business and life). He also repeats the same advice and he is consistent which is a great thing in a motivator. Nothing worse than someone (like a boss or parent) that changes their ways every time you turn around. (like my boss would and my parent did...which really messes you up in life let alone business). Dave, just adapt what you can to your ways and don't stress and don't think you are less than, ever. I do drafts so that when I am having a flare up or cannot get out of bed, I can push a button and list. Or if I go off for a weekend, I can push the button...helps a lot. NO $PEND $UMMER...do it!
@regalseagullga don't let it overwhelm, only thing you need to take away from his advice, is to list everyday, make a draft bank, so on days you can't list you can still list, that's the key....well and make sure you're listing items people want.
Well to be had... i dont list everyday but i do end and resell those items due for the day. And im not making a ton but im also limited due to my back. But becaise im Consistant... at the end of the month ive been pretty close to being consistant sales and slowly growing.
Wrap the glass panels with a piece of cardboard, then bubble wrap it. I use painters tape to tape mine to cut up box flaps. That gives more stability to it. Actually those flowers weren't Murano. They are "in the style of" Murano if you translate the sticker. It's a common "ploy" used to make you think they are Murano. Remember just because it has a Murano sticker, doesn't mean it's Murano.
ADHDave what thermal printer do you use, I remember you saying something in a video about a cheap one from Amazon, but not sure which one you were talking about. Time for me to stop printing, cutting, and taping labels to packages.
I see that you recently listed lots of power tools, air and battery, I PRAY and HOPE, especially if bought at a flea market, that you have thoroughly TESTED them. From the pics they look to be in rough condition. Good luck and hopefully they are fully functional.
I use the draft bank. It works well. It really frees your time up to utilize it for something else. Do all your weekly listing in one day and you don't have to list again until next week
Do you use an ergonomic keyboard? I occasionally had problems with pulling and spraining one of my wrists with normal keyboards, I switched to an ergonomic keyboard and haven’t had trouble since.
Hi, Just wanted to share… if you place vinegar throughout your shop it will reduce that smell .. I’m assuming musty smell.. I resell vintage fabrics and it works!! Enjoy what you do!
Listing daily sounds like a solid plan, IF you’re able to source enough to accommodate such a task. You have a decent death pile that you can probably try it. I can’t find enough stuff to source to keep up that much listing. I try to list 20-25 items a week. I’m a slow Dimer , so I probably could sell things cheaper / faster sometimes, but again the lack of finding consistent sources is a problem for that. The more money I have on had, the dumber the buys I might make lol.
Also, the whole advice Tech gave. You already do it. But you do it for TH-cam. You make / edit videos so you’ve got content ahead of time and click publish when you normally schedule your releases. Just need to take that advice to eBay.
I was in Kats live with Rod a couple weeks ago, they were talking about the daily listing thing which I was doing just the number of listings. With their thoughts and advise I think # of listings and a dollar amount might work best so, 15 items and $500 You can hybrid the "work environment" too. Mon-Wed I'm pretty business, then Thurs-Sat more erratic and do what I want/need like sourcing. Sunday is a semi day off. I think my next step is staggered discounts to move old stuff. I have double the inventory you do and I shouldn't lol. So if I start 10% off at 90 days and increase by 10 every 7-10 days I might not get attached to the item (or for me the money it is worth) and move things faster.
You should come and visit Hershey Park again when the coaster park is open. There are some really great rides that make it worth it. Plus there's a huge water park included. I may be able to get you guys some discounted tickets.
I noticed today that you often said "I dont want to forget". I learned years ago that the word that impresses in your brain is "forget". If you want to remember something, your brain will impress better if you tell yourself "I'll remember to ..." Apparently, that's how our brains work. it works for me.

Has any seller ever tried listing all there items to eBay starting at 110% of average priceband then marking items down every 30 day 5% untill It sales or get to 50% original price at which time you just move it to live auction on whatnot and eventually get a good following for your monthly purge auction on whatnot
Listenig to tech makes me feel bad every time, hes built differently, probably doesnt have adhd like us so he can stay on task and build on goals haha 🤣
I have 3 eBay stores. 1 of my eBay store I have not added a listing in years and it generates about $8k-$12k a month, for 10+ years now. So it is BS you need to list daily to get sales. This store I have is a niche market and I just reorder from China when I run low. Example, if you have 200+ style of door knobs then you will rule the market and just reorder when you run low on certain styles. you don't need to list new door knobs daily because it is not possible to.
I love watching TS his advice is very logical. Nice you guys did a vid! Ebay gave me a $999,000.00 limit! I have 100% feedback top rated but I only ever have a revolving 110 items listed. I ask them what do I do with this limit they tell me you can list a entire car! lol... wth? Are you invited to the Summer Check in? You never mention them every on your channel.

Technsports is the GOAT. Why don't you just try to improve one thing at a time. Start out with listing daily no matter what. You could definitely make more by niching down, but with listing daily you will probably increase your sales "enough" that niching down isn't necessary.
