    Myself and my husband started eating these millets and stopped eating rice,wheat ,milk and sugar since we met him at Andhra Association, Kolkata recently in April. We have lost 3 kgs in 18 days apart from doing our regular exercise. 👍Ty sir. 🙏.

    Thanks a lot sir.
    It has many references in the ancient Tamil literatures. It is called as "Thinai" in Tamil. Even today, it is the Prasad of Lord Murugan at PALANI temple. The Prasad is "Thinai mavu" - flour mixed with Jaggery powder.

    Foxtail benefits:
    Lungs related, asthma, tb, breathing, bronchioles, plenty of niacin, neurons and nerves disorders, autism, Parkinson, pain connected to nerves, vertigo and bones related , joint pains, good for babies in gestation, developing babies after born also useful.

    Hello there. Great initiative to bring back the healthy untouched millets. Was curious to know if a north indian can consume the millets regularly that are grown in the southern regions. As they say one should eat local/regional, does this matter in case of millets?

      millets are grown in north india as well, jowar bajra, kodo, foxtail are grown in north india, all the millets are healthy and any one can eat.

    We have started Ambali so can we make it in steel utensil then
    For fermentation we transfer to a clay pot for 10 to 12 hours ,
    so by doing this it's ok

    Hi sir, very useful information. I am getting bitter taste from foxtail millet. In the form of dosa, rice or any form of cooking, bitterness is there. Is it it's nature? Please let me know it is normal sir.
