Aw man! I kept cringing when you were digging through all the junk and sniffing. I kept thinking about all the mold, mildew and mouse poop you were inhaling. AND you were touching your face/beard. But aside from my yuks, this is an awesome find! It will be fun to watch your transformation of this little pop up.
The inside is in such good shape because you have a hard top. The ones that ain’t hard tops and have a/c in ceiling you can guarantee there is water damage in roof. And my pop up had coach roaches from sitting so long. And there was no food inside. I completely gutted the inside of mine and redoing it so I can have more practical storage.

We had mattress custom made for our pop up from a local mattress place in our town. We did save mattress from pop up and when we sold it we kept one we had made and put older one back in. Put ours in a tagalong camper that we purchased later.
Cool video, but can I recommend getting a gimbal for your camera? It stabilizes it, so we didn’t get sea sickness. Looking forward to seeing how this turns out
Thanks for the comment. I have quite a few gimbals for work. When I over complicate it... it won't get filmed! Sorry for the shaking and thanks for watching anyways!
Would really love to do this. Alot of cheaper campers showing up near us and I'm not afraid of a fixer upper but we're Very new to this. learning ALOT from your videos already! Thanks for sharing!! 🌞
FYI, there is a channel "Pop up camper pro". He gives tips and information exclusively on Fleetwood pop ups. Including one episode where he replaces ( or removes) the front storage box. Good luck with your project!
I am now officially a new subscriber! The video that I just watched before this was of the same exact trailer! But it would spy a young lady who lives in Wisconsin and I can't think of her name. I will have to go back and look at it. But you 2 are in the same boat. But hers was $500 that it was intact with the exception of on the roof line. I'm left in the right side. The little angle valleys at the head which serve as a gutter, ended up, leaving a little bit of damage. So keep that in mind period I look forward to the journey that you and your wife make on this endeavor and I wish you all of the luck in the world! I'll stay tuned.
Congrats and welcome to the pop up camper life. I’m less than a year in myself. I caught a deal on a smaller one for $800 but it’s in a bit better shape. I should’ve got some footage like you did. I’m going to subscribe. Good luck with everything.
UGH! No gloves and no mask ... all the mouse droppings and their contamination. 😵💫 Looks like an amazing deal, but a lot of work ahead. What a fun adventure for you both.

lol... sorry for the cringyness! Yeah it got to me and I was sneezing pretty good for a while after. I'll be masking up when we clean it out for sure.

I just nabbed a FREE Coleman camper (I'm in MA). So psyched to see your channel.
This makes me so nervous but excited to get a pop up.

Have you gotten one yet? I’m hoping to be back at it soon to finish this thing up.
Hopefully by the end of this year!
Congratulations on your birthday, enjoy your present! After everything is taken out and cleaned, repairs made, I hope you have happy times.

Awesome! I’ll definitely be checking that out. Thanks for the tip.
Hope you salvaged the canvas. It's incredibly expensive to replace.

Thanks! Would love to see your progress as well!
Good luck and I’m watching you fix the CP up (Chili Pepper)….lol
Fingers crossed! It's getting closer to being ready

Yeah, I’ll be wearing a mask when I get to cleaning it out! Thanks for watching.
When I opened the fridge you shoulda screamed and scared her. 😂
Completely missed this opportunity!
You should name it Chili Pepper Camper
That's a great name "The Chili Pepper"
Uw…yay I like that name…lol
Fridge is empty because its only use is storage. You'll think too hard to make it be cold enough to be a fridge.
Kami... 😆 "Negative"
Lol!
