You do more for nobodies willing to put in a little effort in their new-bie phase, than most other TH-camrs ever manage to finally get to after a ton of sideshow about themselves. Your entire dynamic seems to be about giving us a basic toolset for "our" selves, and then how to get the most out of that minimal toolset, where it really counts: smart, critical thinking about how to setup a scene using those tools. And yet manage to do it all in a dynamic, always beautiful environment using footage from your epic adventures, which reminds us how these skills are lent in beautiful scenarios and that our produced content can someday elevate us to these kinds of environments also, even if we're not there yet in both skill and location. In these specific videos, you always make it feel like a person who dedicates their efforts to simple, easy-to-understand repetitive steps can and will give that person more value about how to do the most with what they have, rather than focusing on the importance of what new gadgets they don't yet have. So few other creators are going through these A-to-B, 5-Simple-Steps in a visually encouraging way that doesn't overwhelm someone who is not yet accustomed to "getting to work and making it count" regularly. So I just wanted to say: thank you for that - I find that I am coming back to your channel more frequently than most others now, and each time I do, I find new reasons to respect you and your team for their dedication to people like me, still just struggling to get it together and understand what I also have to offer.

I hate slightly cloudy days because the sky is just blown out white and creates a crazy contrast to basically everything im shooting.
Either give me low, dark clouds or give me a clear or semi-clear sky.

Great tips, thanks for this Jeven. I film almost exclusively outside so these are great pointers. I film myself in endurance events so can't control what time of day and where the sun is, but this makes me think I should prioritize some shots during the lower sun times and make sure to take advantage of the lighting more. Great stuff!

One of the most annoying things in my opinion about TH-cam other than ads and commercials are the placements of those ads and commercials, always being placed in the most inconvenient awkward places. Why are content creators on TH-cam who are monetized not able to select specific spots in their videos for where ads and commercials can be placed? This really boggles my mind . The whole reason that people watch TH-cam or at least my reason anyway, originally is because there were no commercials. Now that there are they should at least figure out a way to make them not awkward and stupid.
