I went to Greece 3 years ago and it was the most amazing trip of my life. I was able to go to Olympia too and seeing you guys there brings me so much joy and brings back so many wonderful memories!

Ditto for the "always respect Cruise Ship workers" sentiment. I went on a a Carnival Cruise Ship to Bermuda in September 2019, and multiple hurricanes forced us to return to NYC before ever docking. Crew was forced to plan multiple extra days of activities (they outdid themselves and had 5 activities going on at all times) to keep us entertained and they were so nice, professional, and energetic (even when half the ship got seasick from 18' swells (and an emergency helicopter rescue for one of the crew members). All the passengers gave Cruise Director Mikey and his crew a standing ovation at the end because of how well they all dealt with the situation. #Respect.

I took a cruise in summer 2019. It's great the first few days, but about day 3 it feels like a floating prison. So for this reason, when you stop at cities for port, DEFINITELY get off the ship and go explore the area. It will help your sanity. Also, whatever money you win in the casinos on cruise ships are tax free because they only open the casinos once you get to ocean, which is international waters not owned by a country, and therefore you can't be taxed. Fun fact

We have cruised several times & you’re absolutely right, the staff work so hard & they’re always polite & most go above & beyond to serve guests. But unfortunately some ppl are self centered & feel entitled. Like being sat somewhere you don’t like is the worst thing in the world. Get some real problems bro.
What cruise line is this?!?!?! Always be nice to the staff!! They work 6 months to a year straight without even being able to text let alone a phone call or FaceTime to them! Even just asking them about there homeland or culture is nice and we always ask and they always say they loved talking about it bc they miss this family and no one ever asks!!!
Just a heads up, ships have to leave port by a certain time or they get charged extra. However they generally wait for an organized ship tour if it is late. They don’t do the same for those who organize their own tours. I have seen people left behind because they did their own thing and did not make it back in time. So have fun doing your own thing but make sure you leave time to get back to the ship dudes.

pro tip: carry a mini spray bottle with you on vacation. Fill it with water and lightly spray clothes and hang them up and once it dries your clothes won't be wrinkled. I can't believe it works, but it does!
