Thank you for posting. So did this solve the wear or did you still have to adjust the camber and rear toe?

I appreciate the video and achieved success. I too had excessive wear on the inside rear tires. Now to tackle the ball joints. Since I have coil springs wish me luck.

I can walk through big parking lot and any x5 the rear tires are leaning in at the top lol the ball joints are pretty easy on these

Nathan, thank you for the videos.. These are very helpful for garage mechanics like myself.. I just picked up a 05 X5 3.0 with springs in the back.. I am planning on doing a full suspension refresh in the rear(including subframe bushings). Question is, I am thinking about removing the arm at the bottom that has the ball joint(with long bolt) and the integral link and replacing all the bushings that go in to the subframe as well which means I have to remove the shock as well.. So when I remove the arm, is the spring going to fly? Or do you recommend placing a floor jack under the rotor/hub area and support the wheel carrier with spring in place while I change the bushings on the arm? Thoughts? Thanks,

Remove the shock bolt first , be sure to jack the entire rear up once the sway bar will put pressure down , the the sick bolt is removed it will pop down a bit then you can get it apart, use a floor jack to jack the shock back up and reinstall the bolt

Hey Nathan, I have the same problem with my wife E53. Can I just replace one side only and not the whole rear suspension kit?

is an alignment needed after replacing the rear UCA's? reason I ask is I just had an alignment done on my X5 and they were able to being the camber back within spec but UCA's sound like rusty bedsprings going over bumps. Will the UCA's affect the toe angles?
