- After three months with the 2016 Renault Megan GT, I figured it was about time I talk you through how I feel about the car. I've been using it as my daily and have completely fallen in love, and here's why.
Also, I talk to you about my thoughts for it's replacement.

So happy you survived the finger injury and that you will live. Renault doesn't import over here anymore so its interesting to see what you guys get. My all time favorite was the R5 turbo. You probably weren't born when it was out.

Got my Megane GT two months ago and it is really good car. I just have to be careful so I don't lose my driving licence.

Keep up the quality in your videos Seb! I liked the overall video that you´ve made. But please don't lean in the angel and talk about the car in detail as you did in the beginning. You should talk about the car in detail and show lots of angels, so the viewer can see what you mean, it gets more interesting in my opinion then.

I had a 2004 laguna (estate), and Renault do seats very well. The laguna was far from exiting but it was a very comfy experience, the 1.9 diesel done mid 50s combined and could do over 1000miles per tank.
Unlike my current GTC 165 that struggles to do 400m on an eco run, but a totally direct beast.
Going estate next, miss the space having a Coupe now, and it will be either Octavia vrs 220(petrol) or leon St FR 184 (diesel).
I have just got rid of a seat Leon 184 after having it for 2 years. Brilliant car and pokey enough for a diesel. Handling is brilliant as it shares the same chassis as the golf gti.

Dreaming In Cars just remember mate that it can be a pain in England to fly these, due to needing permission etc :)
U can only do launch 250 times before clutch will have to be replaced and function will block at no. 250

Would any of you recommend this car as a daily driver? Loving the looks & power.
sorry, a bit late, i use the 2018 model as daily driver, i would recommend the 2018 version, the 2016 version has a bad gearbox, they upgraded it in 2018.
the car is amazing, its defenitly not the fastest, but fast enough if you ask me, 0-100km in 7.1 seconds, in sports mode.
in Comfort mode it drives like a normal Megane, just really smooth, and i love switching to Sport sometimes, also because of the paddle shifts. sound is a bit mehh.. also because of the engine sound from the speakers. The looks of the car are amazing in my opinion, i also get a lot of compliments when im stopping for gas or such things. also fuel economy is pretty great, most of the time i drive like some insane guy, still it mostly uses 8.0L/100km. long story short, if you havent bought one already, i think you should :D
@@user-in4xv5ib8e i was ready to buy 1, but its from 2016 and it has 78000 km, after reading ur message i feel a bit worried about the gearbox, how bad the gearbox was? i mean, what kind of problems they have and if they can get fixed (probably expensive). Thanks in advance man.
If it's a Mini, I think I will have a heart attack. I love Minis!! The Renault Megane looks cool tho.

Had mine for 7 months and loving it. Sound is good, just adjust settings to your liking :)

Renault works with Nissan , mitsubishi , samsung cars (it's a common group now ) + mercedes and you see the result in its new serie 4 . This megane and the new serie 4 are "Japanized"
stephen10 I work at renault and that's actually not true. Megane and megane RS are pure french breed. The Renault Nissan convergence is mostly about suv chassis and quality control for the moment, aswell as market shares. And Mecedes (daimler) is not part of the alliance, it's just an engine customer for the class A and B (renault engine) and we share a plateform for the twingo/smart

may be Renault will return soon in USA with their sport brand Alpine in 2019 with an SUV Alpine and their new sport car A110 .
And PSA (peugeot citroen) with their new premium brand DS in 2019
