When up against something that hits slow but hard on a single target.... you tell me if your dps uptime suffers more from fielding a swarm of small things (+8dmg x swarm) or a single big one (+8dmg x1) for them to hit. And that's before we're even considering that dead units do no dps.
To be fair mengsk is the strongest counter against fenix, though he should have gond more into immortals, and with the buff, yes zealots and adepts are actually great. The worst thing to build against Mengsk is carriers (exactly what he did, blinded by the +8 dmg)
@@bbtop07 yes, but the only strong thing Fenix usually has against mengsk is the immortal, both the carrier and the colossi just gets deleted, and the scout cant decide if it should target air or ground, making it relatively useless, and the adept and the zealot usually is just adaquet support for the immortals... also the current immortals compared to this knowlede are worse, making Mengsk even better at countering Fenix
@@truthert Agree, and it shows in the video, the moment he changes to immortals and adepts for tanking he started not losing vs mengsh or at least not leaking almost everything, sadly then he goes for colossus for some reason instead that money could have been more immortals or zealots. In the end it was raynor that made his team stay in the game and win, props or that guy, he was even nice in chat about it, dont know if he knew was in a youtube video, maybe he knew and thats why he was so "nice" to our tunnel vision youtuber.
@@huydang5955 scouts don't really beat vikings, even if they win in a straight up fight as soon as fenix starts pushing hh can dance vikings on leaks then blink back and make scouts shoot base defenses
@@Tdvtdvtdv scouts have better range, and as said before, their cheaper cost allows for more spamming. Combined with mojo and his stun ability, scouts would clean H&H Vikings up even if they got the blink back. And you got the carriers in the rear to burn through defenses. These aren’t Raynor Vikings that have upgrades for super range and AOE, so they won’t last long. The only thing that H&H Vikings do well against are capital ships and sky furies with their single target missile barrage ability. They might have some trouble with leviathans since the latter aren’t armored units anymore, but would win if they have sheer volume to burn down the Leviathan’s HP with missile barrage

Scouts are one of the worst, only above average when they get to attack air, and are prone to locking onto ground that shoots up. If you go carrier scout, you'll still have trouble killing defenses and you'll no longer win the direct engagement.

Why no scouts when facing that Han and Horner? Scouts are the counter to any kind of BC
