"I cant stand you" shes looking in the mirror, shes looking at herself and saying this, "i would never want to get to known someone like me" its clear that she is talking to herself, the song makes that clear. the last lyric of the song is "I cant stand myself". I like to think this song is also a sequel to Copycat or maybe a prequel. She has changed herself so many times, that she has become a person that she does not even like.
Okay, my theory is that this Gumi is from Copycat as well. She was able to stop copying other people’s personalities and is trying to find her own self, but she’s kind of having a hard time since she’s so used to using other people’s traits. She can’t keep a stable self-image, and the images in the mirror is her head telling her that shes “awful” and “no one should want to be around her”, etc. When she looks at the picture of Copycat Gumi and says “in pictures I see, all that we were and could be”, she is reminded of how she used to be and could still be, and how she was “happiest” in that picture and really wants to be that happy again, which is why she says “I’m a fool for you”. But ultimately, she knows that she can’t be that way anymore and has to suck it up and find her true self, but she still can’t stand herself.
As someone who grew up with an encouraging mother and toxic father this hits close to home. The conflicting messages somehow mixed into insecurity = failure. I’m now ensnared by a vicious cycle of being built up and collapsing like a house of cards. Whenever I try to express doubt mom would give me a pep talk that I eventually became numb to as I got older. My father always said I was crazy because I have Autism and public school reenforced it. To anyone who reads this I know the saying “you’re a great person” might sound cheesy so I’ll just remind you that you’re not alone in this world.

But, just before she was about to start about how she can't stand this person, the crushing realization that the person that she hated was herself. so i think in this song, gumi's singing to herself, not someone else. the "we" and "you" is just gumi. (going with the "copycat sequel" theory here) shes started hating herself because of how all she does is mimick others now. in the line, "in the mirrors i see all that we were and could be", shes looking back at who she was and she wishes she could be like that again. of course, there are other obvious things that have been mentioned before, like the line "in the mirrors i see demons set out to haunt me with familiar faces starting to talk like i do" and the image at 3:45.
Yeah its a song about self hatred! Though of course Circus has mentioned people can draw their own conclusions! ^^
