Buck walks through multiple skirmishes on his way to Dare. Dutch leads a warthog charge against enemy forces in the nature preserve; Mickey and dutch help a combined UNSC and police force as they fall back into a building, and there are some others. A lot of ODST's campaign still has Marines.
Yeah, 343 doesn't really know what we want, we want MC and cortana fighting ugly brutes and laughing as grunts say funny lines as a marine makes a witty remark. Nothing can beat halo 3 lol

In my opinion, this is the first Halo where you actually feeling like a Spartan supersoldier. Fast, powerful movement and every weapon feels so perfectly dialed in. I love it.

Im glad i switched over to this vid instead of the first one. Amazing aim, isn't oblivious to being shot at, and most of all not a general moron when it comes to weapon choice for each enemy. The last guy used a shotgun on a grunt and struggled to even hit targets in the first place. It looked like he was watching a walkthrough while making one it was hurting my eye's. This one is the complete opposite of the spectrum
another good thing is he doesnt talk, I hate having to watch so many walkthroughs for any games and see almost all of them being voiced, and often at the wrong times.

The only thing that I dislike about 5, other than the overall aesthetic, is Jameson Locke. Such a boring, uninteresting character that the game basically forces you to play as for most of its duration. It's very simple for me when I play a Halo game; I want to play as the Chief. Even the Arbiter, who is the coolest motherfucker in this entire franchise, isn't as appealing to play as.

And in infinity, chief still chases her holds on to the memories of her and still believes she’s alive.

Watching this cause i recently finished MCC on pc and 343 has no plan to make a pc port of this. Honestly big mistake as halo infinite is just around the corner and players need to catch up and understand the overall lore even though this might be the weakest entry of the franchise.

planning on getting Infinite on PC since I've never had an xbox. Unfortunate that they won't add this one to PC, but I decided to watch a no commentary walkthrough to get the story I missed. This isn't the first one I found, the other one was 720p and the guy was just bad, plus it was an hour longer, So glad I found this one only 30 mins into the other one as opposed to a few hours in.

I've just done the same. Tbh as flawed as 4 and 5 are I think they were decent, was nice having something fresh from the first Trilogy which is a perfect start, middle and end of that arc.

It’s just a different vibe, which is cool. I just liked the overall freshness of playing as other characters (besides playing as the Arbiter in H2).
I can honestly say that this is the best looking fps game I've ever seen on console. It's so smooth . so vibrant so clear . I play this story mode just to see how good it looks . if every game could get to this comparison by next gen. I will be happy .
Halo infinite is mostly like that since you can take marines from fobs to fight with you and the flood was mentioned to be on the ring during the camping so they should be added since the campaign is going to be updated fo 10 years
Although it's a different art style, I'm majorly confused why the textures and lighting is so bad in infinite. They could do 4k 60 on xbox one x with way better textures with halo 5. Really confusing.

Watching this gameplay reminds me of why I skipped Halo 5, but didn’t skip Halo Infinite. In my opinion, Halo 5 is like Halo 3 ODST, but without saying it in name. Its gameplay is similar enough to be in the Halo universe, but Halo 5 should have just been a spinoff game following Locke and his team and completely exclude Master Chief. Could have called it Halo: Next Generation or something. Its gameplay is too far of a leap from classic Halo gameplay to be a sequel.
I’m sorry to say that no other halo has made me doze off as much as this one. It actually made me doze off. I really do hope Infinite fixes some of these glaring issues.
The 343 campaigns suck. The battles aren't big enough in scope, not enough enemies, and their style of storytelling lacks the charm of the original games. Here's to hoping they can figure it out with Halo Infinite.
Well Chief is a Spartan II and they were brought up to be soldiers from a very young age. The Spartan II's received their first enhancements at 14 whereas Locke is a Spartan IV. Spartan IV's were volunteers into the Spartan IV program and their enhancements weren't as significant as the Spartan II's because they were given when they were already adults. If that fight scene was lore accurate Locke wouldn't have landed a punch, in fact Chief could've probably taken out the entire Osiris team singlehandedly.
Thank you for playing through whole campaign, with that being said, I do not like how you rarely revived teammates... also... dude. Learn how to kill hunters, would make it easier for you and more efficient ammo wise.

Although it's a different art style, I'm majorly confused why the textures and lighting is so bad in infinite. They could do 4k 60 on xbox one x with way better textures with halo 5. Really confusing.

Watching this gameplay reminds me of why I skipped Halo 5, but didn’t skip Halo Infinite.
In my opinion, Halo 5 is like Halo 3 ODST, but without saying it in name. Its gameplay is similar enough to be in the Halo universe, but Halo 5 should have just been a spinoff game following Locke and his team and completely exclude Master Chief. Could have called it Halo: Next Generation or something. Its gameplay is too far of a leap from classic Halo gameplay to be a sequel.
At least its gameplay is better than halo infinite.

The art style is more busy. Halo infinite is taking the cartoony and simple look of the OG halo games.

The 343 campaigns suck. The battles aren't big enough in scope, not enough enemies, and their style of storytelling lacks the charm of the original games.

As old as Master Chief may be he’s still kicked Spartan Lock’s ass
Master Chief is 47 years old in Halo 5.
Well Chief is a Spartan II and they were brought up to be soldiers from a very young age. The Spartan II's received their first enhancements at 14 whereas Locke is a Spartan IV. Spartan IV's were volunteers into the Spartan IV program and their enhancements weren't as significant as the Spartan II's because they were given when they were already adults.
If that fight scene was lore accurate Locke wouldn't have landed a punch, in fact Chief could've probably taken out the entire Osiris team singlehandedly.
