Your aesthetic is so like mine. I’ve added the vest to my library. I even agree with your modifications. I’m going to knit the vest for myself and also for son. Thanks for the ideas!
Hahahaha, I’m in NoVa area too and I laughed out loud when you shared that you were excited about the 10-day forecast! 😂🙌🏼 I do the same thing and my family always teases me. Loved the podcast.
Hey! I am a Virginia girl too. Lived in Fairfax, Chantilly area! Currently displaced to Texas but working on getting back there. Miss the four seasons for sure! Thanks for sharing!
Good podcast! I too live in NoVa! I started Fall knitting in late summer and have three projects at various stages. All are fingering weight on 2.75 and 3.0mm needles!
Hi neighbor! Thanks for watching! Very smart to get a head start on fall knitting, you never know with the weather here when the temps will suddenly drop. Hope the projects are going well!
Enjoyed your podcast. Nice to see someone from Virginia. I am originally from WV and my daughter lives in Palmyra VA at Lake Monticello. When I visit her I go to Magpie Knits in Charlottesville and Dances With Wool in Richmond. I live now in Pensacola.
Congratulations on your new podcast - I just started mine too and it's so much fun! I can't wait to see more of your projects, I am LOVING the textures and colors of your projects here!
I love your Frisky Witch cami, I was looking for something like this for a while, so thanks a lot for showing it :D I bought the pattern and will be casting on soon!
Love your shawl pattern but not a lover of wearing them. People in general consider them for ´old' ladies. So dont need to make myself feel older. Rather knit jumpers or cardigans and the occasional socks. I'm against using sock blockers. They are not your's/wearers feet size. Your feet block the socks.
That makes complete sense! For most socks I don't like to use the blockers, but because these were a new-to-me construction and my concerns about the fit, I wanted to over stretch them a little bit to see if it would improve. We'll see if that was the right move!

Hello from Sweden

Disagree about wearing shawls. Love them and I see women of all ages wearing them. To each their own
