Check out the video to see what a cattle drive is like and check out my blog (www.twotravelin... find outwhat there is to see and do in the Fort Worth Stockyards. The area played such a big role in the history of the Texas cattle industry.

We don't have anything like this in Italy and because we love the idea of areas trying to preserve their history, we'd definitely want to go! Besides, we had no idea these cows could have such huge horns O.O

This looks so cool to watch! I love how chilled all the cattle are. My goodness though, look at those long horns! You wouldn't want to mess with them. Those cowboys and their horses are very composed and relaxed alongside such powerful animals :)

Holy moley at those horns! Never seen longhorn cattle. What a unique experience watching the cattle drive! Was it planned or did you come across it by accident?

Well I grew up in Dallas so I knew about the Stockyards but had only been before at night to the bars. When I decided I should visit and really learn more about it, I saw information about the cattle drive on the website and knew I needed to make sure I saw it.

It’s a lot calmer watching them from the side than running with them in Pamplona Spain lol

The longhorns always look as if they're thinking, "Here we go. 'Nother day, 'nother cattle drive down the same 'ol street. Let's hurry up and get back to the corral. I got cud to chew today."
