    I don't think Jasper is heavy enough to trip the sensors at the drive up ordering center. Awesome steer. He's so well behaved and I noticed he isn't startle at all by his reflection at the takeout windows. Nice video.

    As a person who has worked in fast food for a while, we see enough on our shifts, youtubers, dug addicts, people ordering with hover boards, we’re there to work so we can’t really get distracted although we want too lol it depends how busy we are. Also the pressure plate for ordering uses a magnet to let us know when a car pulls up. We also have a time limit for small talk to make sure a line out the driveway doesn’t develop into the street. It makes our day to see stuff like this though❤️

    • @chewy99.

      @baileydeverell1175 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@chewy99. Drug addicts* and they are very commonly found at and around fast food joints. The garbage goblins who usually ask customers and fast food employees for cigarettes and free food, rummage through garbage bins outside the stores, do meth and heroin in the bathrooms, leaving their broken meth pipes, used needles, soiled underwear, and other garbage for people (fast food workers, often 17 years and below) to pick up, then in the lobbies sometimes explode into frenzied schizophrenic or drug-induced episodes threatening to kill teenagers because the burger that used to be a 1.50 is now 3.00. So no, not "dug addicts" but the very real and dangerous DRUG addicts that most people choose to ignore everyday but that are a very real and tragic reality for millions of people.

      @@123red2 Considering Candy, my horse, lived to the age of 43 (she was born the same year as my father), I'd say it had no deleterious effect on her. There was actually very little theobromine in the cheap quality ice cream we used to get. (It was barely ice cream to begin with... that cheap.) Horses are also lactose intolerant, but she never batted an eye at any flavor of ice cream. She also loved to steal sandwiches (ham, tuna, peanut butter and jam, all the same to her. I kept my lunches in a fridge near her stall, and she was smart enough to jimmy the door. I thought I had raccoons in the barn until I caught her in the act.) And heaven help you if you had a pack of Red Man Chewing tobacco in your back pocket, she would stick her nose in and fish out the pack.

She would pick through the best hay available, just to get any errant thistle or ragweed. Her love of beer was also something we had to watch out for. I learned never to leave an open tasty beverage around her. My father always figured she thought she was human. Dad had a habit of getting EXCEEDINGLY odd animals.

    Ok, I'll be the bad guy: This is stupid. It is putting the Bull (steer) all who come in contact and rider in harms way. It's bad enough putting horses into these situations, but with sacking out a horse is more or less accustom to human stupidity. A bull with massive horns and extreme power! It's not that the rider will do something stupid, rather the people that come in contact with rider and bull, the cars, large trucks, children and as I said the stupid.
    I'm all for exposing people to animals! But on the streets is not the place for it. Prey animals can spook fairly easily, over the silliest of things such as puddles of water and sun reflecting off of it. Not cool Dude.

    • @BarJLHorseTraining
      @BarJLHorseTraining  3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      I do agree that it is the people that pose more problem than Jasper. I am cautious and don’t let people get to close. Fun fact, steers are significantly less reactive than horses. I have rode Jasper in many parades, up midways at fairs, into a hotel. He is very safe, and I take precautions needed with the public
