Personally I think Fred is a good person n sincerely loves his wife, just like she loves him but like aunty @uchejumbotv rightly said at d end- love is not enough. Both of them made mistakes. When a man cannot provide, it hurts his male ego n makes him insecure, Ifunanya throwing his inability to get a job in his face like dat must have hurt.n once he convinced himself dat his wife doesnt love him anymore, it unleashed d demon in him. Marriage is hard work. May God give us all wisdom to navigate all our challenges without breaking each other's hearts 🙏

I honestly don't think ifunaya did anything wrong, a man needs to be responsible at all times, a husband needs to put his pride aside to get any available work to provide for his family, staying idle bcos your wife seems to be providing makes him lazy, unfortunately some men are like that, once in that state, anything the wife says becomes offensive, a woman who supports you and doing all she can to make the family running, what do you do to repay her? Immediately I saw the trailer of this movie, I jumped in on it. And sis didn't miss a thing, everything that happened in here is what I'm currently going through in my marriage, the only thing is I refused to run a joint account with him, who knows what would have become of my business if I had. I don't think most men are mentally prepared before the jump into marriage, leaving the women whom they know will do anything and everything to save her marriage to do all the work.

Same problem I am going through in my marriage now but i don't talk to my husband in dat manner we both are understanding and i keep encouraging him. That in every marriage trials and temptation will actually come but we need to stand by each other encourage one another in times like this.

My best scene is the one Fred came home around 2am,I love Uche when she is happy and in love but I love her more when she is angry and ready to devour. Good movie nice story,Fred is just a wicked demon who couldn't face to watch Ifunnaya progress when his own life was stagnant and unfortunately a lot of men are like Fred.

She pushed him to far a man that can’t provide goes through emotional rollercoaster already and constantly putting him down will surely eventually create a monster out of him I don’t condone domestic violence at all don’t get me wrong a marriage deserves respect in any situation from both part without it at the slightest opportunity you will end up tearing each other into pieces
True she would have been sensitive to manage the situation
Did you watch the same movie I did? He felt worthless and started spiralling so that everything she said or did was an offence to him. He should have got counselling and taken whatever work was available until he could get similar work or better work again. Instead he chose to wallow in self pity and start accusing his wife of folly.
No she didn't...stop excusing men bad behaviour and blaming women
She didn’t push him. The guy has inbuilt bad behaviors
She did not push that man….did we just watch the same movie? There is no way you saw when she pushed him. He continued to feel bad for himself. Criticized himself was having an internal conversation with himself. No one was having the conversation with him that he was having he started the negative self talk. she continue to encourage him to supported him by giving him use of her Internet. He started accusing her of things that wasn’t happening because of his phone insecurities she tried to stroke his ego in the beginning, but he kept tearing her down. How much is she supposed to take?
I knew a slap or a punch had to be coming. Fred's inability to find a job could not withstand his insecurities and sustain his male ego. Fred did the only thing he could and what we should have expected was absolutely NOTHING but run off like the weakling he clearly was allowing him self to get to the state that he did. I understand a bad economy but there is always something you can do to make an effort to contribute. It was absolutely no surprise that in the end Fred did what he did best and that was having absolutely no plan and no solution which led to him transferring his physical aggressions and doing what came easy and natural which was bailing out, wasting time and stealing literally and figuratively. If only Fred was able to make a real living at stealing and wasting time. He would have been extremely rich. Some people are just not made of what it takes to fight through hard times . Really interesting piece. Lessons learned.

It's sad to see a beautiful relationship crash beyond repair. Fred was gradually stirring d waters of bitterness probably out of his own frustration. Ifunanya lost her ability to tolerate after the loss of the baby. Definitely post traumatic pain and post pregnancy hormonal display made her lost her shit. If only they'd both be sensitive abt d other's predicament esp mental health perhaps things could've been different.
Finally a good sensible comment. Mental health played a huge factor…he had his own insecurities and projected on her…she needed to process her grief concerning lost of baby…he didn’t help. She thought she was helping with his job issues….
