I'm with you. It's barbaric and ultra-European and colonial the way househelp is depicted in too many movies. The insults, maltreatment, and abuse is beyond ugly and indicative of poorly developed characters on the side of the employers. And the roles given to the househelp is a disgrace. They act like buffoons and fools reminiscent of the character of Step N Fetchit, Uncle Tom, and "mammy" figures drawn from ex-African slaves in the United States. Stop it! Please! You are leaning in the wrong direction with foolish concepts. So is speaking English supposed to be a sign of intelligence and refinement? How embarrassing. Better learn your own beautiful languages well well_ and pass them on. It's painful to watch.
A terrific movie. Fred as always plays an outstanding role. Although the role of a subservient husband did not fit his previous roles he did a excellent. A story of patience with spouses, managing a household on one meek salary along with a teenage daughter. A very generous boss who had compassion. All of these ingredients made for a great movie with the perfect ending.

wonderful story with two of my favorite actors_ Fredrick and Uche. That lovely daughter is a wonderful actress. And though her character was a horrible person, wife, and mother, the good-for-nothing wife also played her role irritatingly well! Wonderful ending.

I sometimes fail to understand what really pushes some women to leave their homes just because of a temporary situation. You know i came to realize having some people as friends is a complete disaster coz gina would have been there for zino and be the supporting buddy but instead she dragged her friend to the mud and see who's having the last laugh. I sometimes fail to understand what really pushes some women to leave their homes just because of a temporary situation. You know i came to realize having some people as friends is a complete disaster coz gina would have been there for zino and be the supporting buddy but instead she dragged her friend to the mud and see who's having the last laugh. Some women are just jealous, let's build one another, let's put ourselves in other people's shoes, let's be the support for each another... Marriage is indeed a blessing and it takes a real woman to build her own home.. it's a life lesson. I love the story in this movie, very inspiring.

Great story! Loved ❤ the family aspect with Uche, daughter, & Fred. I wish there were more good, wholesome, heartwarming family movies instead of all the cheatings, lies, betrayal, sleeping with someone else's husband type movies.just my opinion.😊
