Hi Aaron, this was very helpful after me searching other videos. Question my book was published 2 weeks ago and I've sold 120 books. If I change my catagory and my keywords will the books sold already count towards me being a BESTSELLER?

Aaron, can you give a ballpark idea of how sales increase when you have a trilogy for sale, versus just one or 2 books? ( i know as a reader, i'll buy a book that has sequels, hoping i like it, so i can go back for more). I've heard people say write 3 and publish them at once, but I'm too eager and just gonna put my first one up on amazon, and try to get #2 done in the next 3 or 4 months.... (sorry, i rambled, but i think you got the gist of the question)
I'd say put the first out asap, and announce the release of the second in the back of your book. This way, if the sales don't pan out, you can drop the series and save yourself the time. I know that it CAN work, and that some authors like to release a few at once, but it's not something I would personally do.

Aaron, do you suggest new authors use the pre-order option on Kindle? I've heard arguments for and against.
If you're a first time author, I'd recommend setting a pre-order for the shortest about of time (3 days). This way, you can control the release date and have a little time for the book to be visible on the platform

I've always enjoyed reading and writing 😁, I never went to college and I technically failed high school. No one needs a degree to be a successful author 👊
For one being an author has to be a passion or its not worth it. There is a lot of time that goes into writing. Becoming an english major would help. Also many authors don’t have an english major. Also to help clean up your writing you would get a book editor or now u can use AI to help revise ur work
