Thank you for making this and of coarse for writing such amazing books. I was never sure how kindle unlimited worked for authors iv been using KU to check out books to see if I like them and if I do I’ll go buy the book/audiobook I’m glad to know authors still get something just from me checking them out. By the way I’m following you on kindle but haven’t had any notifications of book releases for your last 4 books I’m quite annoyed as I used to get told when ur books came out iv asked kindle but just got a generic we will look into it message

I think the cover change will make a huge difference. Dinosaurs are cool, but imo they're either love them or hate them. For me at least, when I see them on a cover, my brain automatically goes 'children's book'.

How do you write so many books in such a short space of time? Any tips for us slow writers?
I'm a full-time Author, so that definitely helps. Also, planning out your story ahead of time makes for a smoother writing experience. Third, you'll get better and faster with time. I definitely couldn't write this fast when I first started. Good luck with your writing and I hope this helps!

Kindle Unlimited only applies to eBooks. Paperbacks and Hardcovers can be published wherever you'd like.
I voted for the dino cover only because I thought "Age of Ancients" was a better name than "Time of Titans"
I swapped the name. Time of Titans was supposed to be book 2

I just had a random thought. I know this has nothing to do with this video but I thought you would be most likely to see this comment on your most recent video. So far you have hinted that your three main series RTO, Buryoku, and LOE are connected. But the only thing connecting Buryoku to the other two is the mention of the Author-lik being who controls Azure, Crimson, and Emerald. I think it would be an awesome easter egg if in one of the next RTO books that Gold visits Morgan while accidently wearing and Buryoku belt. Just and idea though.

Keep doing kindle unlimited as in that’s how I read all of your books, does it give as much as in paying for the book? I try to leave a review when I’m done
Amazon says the latest book, Fire Buryoku book 5, is 345 pages, if they give credit for every page read that works out to be $1.52.

Paperbacks don't make much more than eBooks
I got 50 000 KEND but i did not receive any royalties from them. Do you know about the process?
Royalties are paid 60 days after the last pay cycle. Amazon always pays out on the 29th. So, if you got those reads in January for example, you'd be paid out for those reads on March 29th
@@AaronOsterAuthor Thanks, Will I get paid for KENDs while my numbers of sales are less than KENDs. For example, My total sales are 100 books even my KENDs are about 50.000 KENDs. Does Amazon pay me these KENDs?

New cover is definitely wayyyyy better.
When you consider the success or failure of a book, don't you also consider its lifetime earning potential, rather than merely what it earns in the first few weeks? For example, I've seen self-published books that are 5+ years old and still rank in the top 5000 of the Kindle Store, which means they are easily earning over $1000 a month. So is Age of Ancients a failure just because its launch wasn't as stellar as it could have been, even if it keeps earning for you over several years?
The initial launch tells you how well the series will do overall. If I barely profit on book 1, I'm likely to lose money on book 2. I generally look for a 5-7k profit in the first month to tell me if the series is worth my time

Yeah, it's unfortunate that piracy is an issue. There are loads of my audiobooks on TH-cam and they make it pretty much impossible to get them taken down
