100% I just met someone the other day who chose adoption and if it were me I would easily chose them I'm 35 but I would have gladly done surrogacy for them because I want them to have a baby so bad however I was unfortunately diagnosed with health issues so now that's no longer the greatest option I feel pregnant and have been so worried for my baby because of my issues thank God my baby's great I would have only done surrogacy with someone else's eggs ofc

You gave that mama the blessing of feeling like she had a choice. That child was CHOSEN by her mom, all because you gave her the space to make that decision and not feel forced into motherhood or stuck with a baby.
Your heart is broken, but you’ve blessed this mom and her baby more than you know.
Your time is coming, chin up. ❤️

It’s never a “failed” adoption. A mother choosing to raise her baby is a beautiful thing. It will only benefit that baby and mama. And that baby doesn’t have to experience any separation trauma. This is why we don’t refer to expectant moms as birth moms. They are the primary and only mother until they sign those relinquishment papers. Praise the Lord!

I have to disagree when you say "It will only benefit that baby and mama." Many birth moms decide to place their children up for adoption because of circumstances that will likely cause the child to grow up in a less safe, stable, and healthy environment than if they were to be adopted into a family seen "fit" by the state and birth mom. I think it's very naive and almost harmful to create the notion that the "biological parent" = the best parent for a child. We've seen hundreds of thousands of cases where that could not be further from the truth.

@@emmab1745100% agree. All these commenters self righteously “educating” this heartbroken couple as if they aren’t aware it’s often better if the mom chooses to raise the child. There are MANY children raised in terrible environments by parents who love their kids but don’t know how to show it, parent them, protect them, and provide for them. All things that can be provided by an adoptive parent. The commenters here are infuriating. Even if they were right, time and place. Time and place. No wisdom.

    • @desmo8755
      @desmo8755 3 หลายเดือนก่อน +7

It can be "failed" if the birth mother never had real intentions of adopting and this happens too often. OK, the child stays with the mother, which is a "success" if you want to view it that way. But from the perspective of a well-intending adoptive couple who gave up their hearts and a lot of money, and for the credibility of the adoption system, it's a huge failure !

The best way to rid your heart of hurt and feel peace is to do what you’re doing and pray for them. Imagine how sweet it’s going to be when you finally hold that baby who needs you more than anything in the world. That baby won’t have a mama that chose them. You will be the mama that chose them. Thank you so much for educating this sweet couple with your wisdom. I’m sure they didn’t know that or hadn’t thought of it at all. Very wise of you to make sure you set them straight in the middle of their heartbreak. Can we clone you so more people can experience this “comfort”? Also unless you actually know this mom AND can see the future you have zero evidence to say the birth mom made the right decision. That implies that every mom who decides that adoption is best for her child made the wrong one. There are MANY situations where adoption really is best for both mom and baby. Ignoring these is irresponsible and childish and also hurtful to any mother who chose adoption who has the misfortune of running across your hurtful and inaccurate comment.

It’s not okay to refer to this as a failed adoption. There is NO failure here. The baby is exactly where your god designed it to be and as a supposed Christian and pro lifer you should understand that. Adoption means heartbreak for the baby and mom, not that it’s unjustified and for a purpose when done right, but all I heard In this video was self pity and self absorption.

I really don't understand vloggers anymore, especially family vloggers. There for a little while it seemed like a pretty cool idea, but the thought of just having nothing sacred or private and constantly thinking of ways to set up shots or do videos to benefit the channel, even during the intimate and hard times of life just seems to cheapen these life experiences. It wasn't long ago that you were being called out for other drama, then you started dragging everyone through baby drama, and now it's adoption drama. Was any of it real? That's the thing, vlogging your whole life just makes everything seem like it's done for show, even if it isn't. I hope one day you'll consider shutting the camera off and just living life privately. Or if you want to be a content creator to make a living, maybe shift to something less personal. Family vloggers are really starting to give us all the ick.

Even so why are you so lacking in wisdom that you choose to basically call them out as farming drama for dollars on this day? I have no idea who this couple is and you may be totally right but in order to say something this cruel at this time I would need to be completely convinced that they did not care at all if they got this child and are faking being heartbroken. I am also proud of the potential birth mama choosing to mother her baby. As a birth mom i placed my son in an open adoption almost 3 years ago to a couple who struggled with 11+ miscarriages and i truly felt compassion in knowing i could bring them the joy of a beautiful healthy baby boy. However, that was the hardest thing ive ever done and still continue to grieve the decision since the adoptive family made their decision to keep contact very limited. We are lucky to get pictures a few times a year..
It is a sad reality of how many open adoptions close after the baby is received and the papers are signed and many birth parents are discarded regretting their decision.

I can’t imagine what you are both going through, I can however see the faith and trust that you approach this area of your lives with. I have no doubt that our Father loves and delights in you. He will continue to guide you, to protect, to provide, to pour His favor out in your marriage, in building a family, in business and every other part of your lives. We continue to pray and believe that you will have the fulfillment of the promise of children to raise up knowing how much God loves them and how much you love them too! Rather through adoption, naturally conceiving, through medical intervention, or maybe even all of the above, He will deliver everything He has spoken over you and deliver it into your hands. He will anoint you and illuminate your path. He is faithful to finish what He begins. I know that He will take away any sorrow and sadness and turn it into immeasurable happiness as you continue to wait on The Lord. Mourning and weeping may endure for the night, but joy comes in the morning. Be of good courage and He will strengthen your heart. Not only are the two of you in our prayers as well as the precious little ones that God has already chosen to be yours, we also pray for your family and friends, your church community, the people you lean on, the people that stand with you, that impart into your lives that they would continue to remind you that you are surrounded by His goodness, His healing, His hope, His wisdom, His favor, mercy and grace, and above all else, His unwavering, steadfast love. I’m looking forward to one day soon seeing a video on TH-cam introducing all of us to the little one or little ones that He has chosen to entrust to you to raise in the wisdom and knowledge of God. To see a video with the baby, with the children that you will soon have the honor of dedicating to The Lord and raising them up to be known by Him, loved by Him and teaching them to walk in the ways of The Lord! Showing them daily how to love Him back by the way you live your lives, which is a beautiful example of a what a real relationship with The Father and His unconditional love looks like. With Jesus as Savior and friend, with The Holy Spirit as Comforter, as the one who illuminates and guides believers through The Word of God. Obviously He is so so so much more and I know you will teach them to pursue His heart and every part of who He is. We can’t wait to see your prayers answered in a way only God can do!

Thank you for sharing your hearts in a real and raw way. I am not walking this journey but witnessing you living your testimony out loud is encouraging to me. I read somewhere that we are a microwave culture and as a Christian we fall victim to that thought pattern. I am learning to walk with Him at his pace and not my own. I pray He reveals your child to you soon!

Kinda odd to call a newborn baby a counterfeit from the devil but uhhh to each their own?

@@Kelly_92she wasn’t calling the baby counterfeit. They were saying the situation that presented as an opportunity ended up not being THEIR miracle. Does that make more sense?

    💔💔 “she has every right…”
This video is loaded with self absorbed self centered views walking into adopting.
In all of this they fail to show ANY compassion or joy for a woman to keep HER child.
    “We never could have imagined…”
This is a statement from entitlement - people who get what they want when they want it. This is not prospective adoptive parents who KNOW what they are getting into.
I hope if birth mom EVER watched this she knows- she made the right decision and has zero guilt for the let down these “vessels” are crying about.
These are people who want a shiny white newborn baby.
