    I love ALASKA. It's one of the only affordable airlines that can get me from Seattle to Minneapolis nonstop.

      Yk why? Bc SEA is bigger than here at PDX bc rn, there's not enough gates which they temporary closed a couple gates to make room for the NEW roof which is why here to MCO on redeye, CUN, PVR, FLL, MIA, etc are seasonal. In Seattle, it's cheaper bc there's way more gates & they have more direct flights than here that are not really seasonal bc SEA's home of Alaska

    I LOVE Alaska Airlines. Thanks for this. Wish we could have seen the PDX terminal, and how you thought it compared to FLL. Great video, though. I subscribed!

      Terminal's under construction rn here. There's not much to see rn until May of next year if you look at PDX Next, you'll see

    Alaska’s premium class can’t beat Delta’s comf+ seats. Delta gives you free alcohol drinks and free premium snacks. And both alcohol and snacks are free refillable.

      Plus delta has seat back screens

    • @PNWElevatorAviation
      @PNWElevatorAviation ปีที่แล้ว

      @@guinessbeerAlaska had em when they bought the planes from Virgin when they merged in 2016 I think? But they renovated them all, retired the A320's. Plus the reason why they did it is bc the maintenance on the screen may been expensive plus we don't need em

    Living in the NW I have been a devotee of Alaska Air for more than three decades. My one on-going gripe about them is the seat backs.... there's no room for anything! I am a dinosaur and travel with CDs and headphones and newspapers.... and it's very hard to stash them in those ridiculously thin/small spaces. But, the seats are comfy and the service is almost always on point. Glad you had a great experience.

    Looking forward to my first trans continental flight from MIA to Seattle. Given a choice between AA and Alaska Air, guess l'll favor Alaska. Quite impressed by your comments about service and seat comfort. Been a while since I have taken a flight longer than 2.5 hours. And that was MIA to SJU.
    THANKS for the advice.

    Just be honest with you, I like your video, but I wouldn't be comparing airlines with first class/business class to Southwest because Southwest doesn't have any of those. Southwest is basically free for all.

    Asiana Airlines has much better service in economy class even on a flight that is around 4 hours long.

    I have to disagree on the seat comfort! I find them quite hard without much cushion. Especially for cross country flights. I often fly from SeaTac to FLL. But love Alaska. Best customer service.

      @@aviationmaliq132 agree about customer service. The reason I only use Alaska. Seats for me lack cushioning. Esp when my flights are 6hrs.

    nice plane but last time we flew Seatac to LA we had such a bumpy flight. Even on take off we were drifting down the runway. Never experienced that in my life. I was so scared.
