EXCELLENT JOB on capturing the seats at the end. I could not find a video showing me the legroom in the exit room until your video - THANK YOU!!! I'm 6'3" this was helpful.
My first flight on Allegiant air was back in 2004, it was a MD 80 and I flew from Fresno CA to Las Vegas NV, they had free drink back in these day but today, its $2.50 for a can of soda and cup with ice.
Seems like an arm and a leg for checked bags and reserved seat, however the total is still cheaper most of the time compared to Delta, American, United, Southwest. Delta, American, United, Southwest just wrap it in a higher fare, that's all
I take a backpack as my personal item and stuff all my clothes, deodorant, and toothbrush in it. This summer, we're flying with our kids, so I booked us for 1 checked bag that we can throw extras into. If you can pack light and are going someplace warm, it can definitely work! Especially if you have access to a washer/dryer or don't mind handwashing!
Looks pretty good I wouldn't mind flying with them! This is the first time I ever heard about them. How do you compare them to Spirit? (I've never flown both but I'm looking to fly to San Francisco and then catch another plane to australia since prices are so high here in the winter)
I'm always hesitant to fly, but I like travelling. I can't control flights or know any of the pilots beforehand. I flew Spirit once this year and didn't have a major issue. I was nervous though, but I made it from point A to B safely.
I’m about to fly them in July later this year because of the price from Kansas to California. Hope it goes good also heard they better than frontier and especially spirit . I flown United once I wanted to go with them but tickets expensive at the moment.
My wife and I flew Allegiant for the first and last time this month. They are simply not reliable, and their schedule is so thin that when they cancel flights they leave you stranded. Our return flight was cancelled at the last minute while we were boarding in Sanford. Next flight was in three days. Allegiant was of no help whatsoever. The least they could have done is arrange for ground transportation to Orlando International for the stranded passengers to make connections on other carriers. There are no other carriers at Sanford, St Petersburg, and Punta Gorda where they operate in Florida. Ground transportation between Sanford and Orlando International is not easy. Fortunately I had a relative that lives near Sanford that drove us to Orlando International so we could get home the next day. Allegiant refunded our unused tickets but offered no other compensation. We were out well over one thousand dollars in extra costs for this trip. Never again. Don't do it.
Don’t waste your money on this airline. We had a short weekend trip planned and after being told the flight would be delayed for two hours they ended up canceling the flight. Since we had hotel reservations, car rental, baseball game tickets and universal studios tickets that we had passed the window to be reimbursed after canceling. We decided to rent a car and drove all night in order to still hit the game and other events. As we were traveling my wife placed two call to allegiant air to make sure they were not going to cancel our hotel and rental car we had booked through them to which allegiant air staff told us they only canceled the flight to California and nothing else…….When we got to the car rental place in California we were told allegiant air had canceled our rental car as well as our hotel reservation after being told to not cancel them multiple times. Allegiant’s representatives over the phone had ensured us multiple times that they had not canceled our hotel reservations and rental car……..well, we didn’t find out about the cancellation until arriving in LA. We had to find a new rental car and a new hotel and to make things worse allegiant will not reimburse us for them canceling the rental car and hotel so we are being charged for two nights in a hotel and two days for a car rental we didn’t use. All thanks to this airline and their incompetence. We tried this airline once and will not recommend them to anyone, in fact I will tell everyone I know about our horrible experience so they will not get screwed like we have.

The only way I fly! I Love them. Great airline.

I've heard Allegiant Airlines is the budget airline for the elderly lol!
Thanks for the info!
Wife will be using Allegiant this summer to fly to NY. I don't fly so I'll be road tripping it! Have a great Thanksgiving my friend.
I prefer road trips! Lots more flexibility. No baggage limitations (as much as car fits). Happy thanksgiving!
