    I think the throttle and clutch have Hall effect sensors rather than potentiometers.

    I recently bought Clubsport v2 pedals to play on Clubsport v2.5 base. Will I have some kind of incompatibility?

    are you still using these pedals? they fine? have you needed to replace the load cell or censors or have they been perfect all the way?

      They were fine - but I've since upgrade to Heusinkveld Sprint pedals

    I'm going to be pickup up a set of these V2s second hand in a couple of weeks. What is brake force factor in other games like rF2 and AC for those that don't have iRacing???
    Great review, really informing on the pedals and how they feel, etc 👍🏻

      I think it's like the Brake Gamma in AC, so set it to 1 so it's linear. Essentially pedals without a load cell (that only detect movement) try to replicate the pressure getting higher by sort of exponentially increasing the amount of brake force that happens as the pedal travels further. e.g. community.granitedevices.com/uploads/default/original/2X/0/01ab65efe8e9175b85d734bf1b27731fba70f057.png. This curve on the brake isn't needed for a load cell, as you are able to capture the exact force they are pushing - it's not just about the movement. I could do a video about it if people wanted.

      By the way, congrats on picking up the v2s - they are great pedals.

    Thanks for the video! I'm about to go grab some.
    Do you know if you can set the force of the brake to be similar to what's in a car?

      @PaultheSimRacer  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      I personally found it to be softer than a car - but I did find online you can buy thicker oil / thicker springs if required.

      Depends what car surely! Bit of a weird question tbh 🤣

    i have the thrustmaster loadcell pedals and have been thinking about getting this play seat but worry the strap will allow to much play when braking. How is your experience with the fanatec load cells?

    • @PaultheSimRacer
      @PaultheSimRacer  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Max, I have cable tied mine to the pedal frame on the playseat, it now doesn't move at all and is fine with the load cell.

    can fanatec pedals work with logitech wheel?

    • @PaultheSimRacer
      @PaultheSimRacer  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey, this is possible if you get the usb adapter for the pedals - you can then plug them in seperate to the logitech wheel. When you calibrate the wheel / pedals in game - just make sure you use the right ones then.
